They all doin pretty good, leaves are a little too yellow for my liking at this point I should have added some grow to the mix but they will be fine I think. This one is the tallest, has long narrow bud structure, smells citrusy. Both plants are the tallest in the group. Updated pics, smell getting stronger, for first grow looking like a decent yield without no lst or anything just tied down the leaves so the buds can get the light, only found out about what lst can do for the plant when it was too late so thats the only thing I'll change on my next grow. Day 15 - The new week meant a change of water, nutrients and an adjustment of lights. Chong is looking like a short, but sturdy little seedling with broad fan leaves and big roots. Max is 10cm vs. Chong at 7cm and her leaves are perky and the stem is thick. They both look good for their own individual reasons. Looking at the roots specifically, Chong seems to be facing similar problems as Cheech in the Cookies Gelato grow - the aeration in the bucket appears to have “dead zones” because of the colour the roots and the manner in which they are sticking together. I’ve adjusted the air stone to be more central in the bucket and cleaned the air tubes because the nutrients stick on the tubes. Other than that, I’ve controlled the PH back down to 6.0 after the addition of the nutrients using the Milwaukee PH controller and decided not to adjust the height of the lights because there was only about 2cm growth this week. Also added the first wire to give Chong a bit of a better bend in her stem, gently starting off the process of LST. Day 20 and the ladies are getting closer to topping. Both are showing clear third nodes with the fourth node opening up. I am sure we will be topping during this next week of veg.

Hey Growers, end of week 11 from seed Ran into an issue this week, my ph meter broke and I had to purchase a different model at a local hydroponics store because It was feeding time. If I wanted the same ph meter I would have to order it online, I couldn't afford to have the plant wait another day or 2 For feeding. This new ph meter gave me different readings as to the old one. I have a record of the amount of nutrients I feed it everytime, for example with the old ph meter after adding nutrients to the water, ph meter would read 4.5 - 5.0, ill add 7-10 drops of ph up and it would rise to 6.1 - 6.3. With the new ph meter after adding nutrients to the water, ph reads 4.0 and i have to add 15 - 25 drops of ph up so the Ph goes up to 6.1, I calibrated the new one and ran different tests with different liquids and it seems to be pretty accurate, The old one cost me $14 compared to the new one which cost me $60. Will continue to use the new meter and hope the plant adapts to the new ph Levels, so far I see less orange on the leaf tips Colas are getting thicker, its been a slow flowering process for this plant, looks like its growing dense buds. Smell is a bit stronger, it used to smell weird but its now slowly smelling better 🍋 ⛽️ No amber in trichomes yet. Increase in orange hairs on the buds Increase in red stems, will decrease light intensity for 5-6 hours QUESTIONS when should I begin flushing?

Esta fue la novena semana de flora. Para ser mas específicos, hoy 25/07/2020, es el día 126 desde la germinación y el día 60 desde que la planta mostró los pistilos blancos y comenzó a florar. Creo que no falta nada para cosecharla, probablemente en los próximos días, ya que todos los tricomas están blancos, y muy muy poquitos están color ámbar. Si bien la semana anterior dije que esperaría a tener el 20% de los tricomas ámbar, esta planta en particular mostró una maduración muy pareja, que no había visto nunca, asi que es muy probable que corte en lo próximos días, con un 5-10% de tricomas ámbar. Esta semana solo regué con agua sin cloro y con un poco de melaza. Si bien para los fermentados que utilizo para alimentarlas no es necesario hacer lavado de raíces, creo que siempre viene bien sobre el final regar solo con agua y dejar que el suelo haga lo suyo. I placed the 2 seeds in a damp paper towel and placed it into a closed Tupperware. The tupperware was placed in my stereo cabinet (warmest place I could find) and less than a day taps roots were showing. I then placed them in my humidity dome and within 18hrs I had roots sprouting thru the bottom of the sponge. This has been the best start I have yet to have. I also built a new RDWC system with waterfalls to veg and flower these two in. I have photos and video above on the new tent setup. I have it running with just regular tap water until the seedlings are ready to go in. I have also installed a 90gpd RO system (APEC brand) under my kitchen sink. The water comes out 5.8ph and 7ppm. I will be using this RO water thru the entire grow with some Cal-mag of course. The system holds about 25 gallons total of water. The main res is 17 gallons and the two buckets are 5 gallons. I will no longer be using air stones. I have a recirculating pump in the main res, waterfalls in the buckets and of course the main pump running the whole system. Should be plenty of air for the roots. I used 2 in return pipes in the hopes of avoiding roots clogging the pipes. I scrogged last time but I'm not sure I will be going that route. I might just top and train. I will be doing a major defoliation on one and just simple trimming on the other. I am trying to find out if the risks of stressing the plant are worth the returns. Well wish me luck....and away we go. This was the final vegetation week. Retied some of the training. Two branches snapped in the process. Mend with tape. Affected branch seems to be recovering. During the week they withered a bit. Added 500ml of water with no effect. Increased the distance from light from ~25cm to ~38cm. Next day they looked more stiffened and rigid.

There's really nothing new for this week, the plants growing rapidly.

Last week of flower. Flushing plants this week with 150 to 200ml water ph 7.0 to 8.0each day Day 76 plants are pretty much ready for harvest. Buds have fattened up a abit. Day 77. Alot more orange hairs. Buds fattening up still by a little. Plenty of milky trichomes. Harder to spot orange trichomes but can see them.
