One of the targets for that grow is to keep the height of the plant as low as possible, because i only have about 80 cm from the bottom of the box to the LED lights as available space for the plant, so i thought i will a give that LST a try. Additionally i slowly started incresing the power of the LED to 60%. By now (a few weeks later) I already know that i started the LST a little bit early, but the plant was reacting well and kept growing. Furthermore I added a cheap webcam to my setup to create some timelapse videos. It's not a high res camera, but I still find it very interesting to watch that plant grow in timelapse 😁

Our Zamnesia Super Boof is a brand new strain, Zamnesia brought it out before anyone else in Europe and now it's the others who are chasing it. I'll show you that the Zamensia one is the best of all, of course also the American ones. Remember that we are growing a plant worked with the techniques indicated and another left to grow without pruning to preserve its speed; in the previous/next diary you will find the other plant of the same variety. In this diary we find it worked with the Main lining: we did topping on the third internode, we worked the very small brunches in growth trying to keep them low up to the third internode and then topped again. We are topping on the laterals but some have been eliminated, the plant is at a low internode distance and they are not the most suitable in my opinion for this technique but I do them anyway, it's really fun and the result is also very pleasing to the eye. A few more days and it will start flowering. Slow down the use of nitrogen during this technique, you may not need everything that is recommended by the manufacturers. So if the leaves become too dark or, worse, the tips of the leaves arch downwards and the leaf becomes "crunchy", it is time to lighten or stop the basic fertilizer. Comparison is the salt of experience, so the plant in the other diary will be treated very differently, go and see it to compare. We have started the Plagron fertilization program, we are in 100% organic configuration, the soil is recycled Promix + 1/3 fresh soil + 10% Perlite + RQS Mycorrhizae Mix (4 g in the mix, 1 g under the small fiber pot). Harvest is very soon. I'd wager within 7 days now just going to depend on the High I get off tester nugs. ***Update*** I destroyed the trellis and took em out for some pics and vids. Trichs = Tropicana is ready Tuesday, Wedding Cake probably Friday or within that weekend. ----- Day 58 ----- Last couple days. Fed about 30ml of Cal/Mag and 30ml of Molasses. Wanted to just keep the photosynthesis process and the plant in general alive for reveg. Was getting a bit too yellow for my liking. Harvest soon. ----- Day 59 ----- Harvested Tropicanna Glookies today Deleted this week by accident trying to make it a harvest week, so remade it. Will add harvest week once plants are dry and tester has been smoked to give proper info Put some more photos in. Basically the tent is 4 feet wide and the ruler is 12 inches long from bottom of duct tape Really loving the colors of this plant. ------ Day 60 ----- Fed only the Wedding Cake - 5-10ml of Calimagic and 20ml of molasses (NO Liter level marked or PPM or PH, i could cut today its done but im just maturing the trichs) Tropicanna Glookies is a friggin BEAUTIFUL strain. Moved the Wedding Cake in the tent so largest nugs are furthest away from light and dropped light from 1000w to 600w to save electricity Chop on Wedding Cake happens at mostly amber trichs. Prob 5-6 days max for that i'll know when I check trichs tonight and update with photo. ----- Day 61 ----- Wedding Cake is about 5% amber... so prob 6 days or so. Slow day today. ----- Day 62 ----- Feeding is today, going to just use some CaliMagic and Molasses again. Trichs aren't golden yet, so not chop time ... 8-9 weeks is what it is supposed to take, but it's got at least another 5-8+ days until 30-40% amber trichs for Indica couch-lock effect to shine in the Wedding Cake. Tropicanna could still be going right now, but I did not want more than 5-10% amber gold trichs to prevent a couch-lock effect. This has worked very well. On day 64 I will post a smoke report and full harvest/trim details as Saturday/Sunday is trimming. Will have dry weight results of Tropicanna (per plant, and as a whole). Tropicanna being sent to lab for full analysis will post results when they arrive (Usually 2-3 weeks after sending sample via mail) ------ Day 63 ------ Nothing to talk about today, slow day. almost done. *Update* 1 pic, i think it explains everything.

Outdoors........time passes slowly.... Tropical weather here, this week. Hot morning, evening storms , cooler nights, high humidity, wind. What else? No problems to report, fantastic grow, girls full of life. Lots of work to bend and rearrange plant's shape every day, sometimes twice a day. Defoliation. Plant is responding fantastically. My Royal Gorilla has one branch with an uncommon mutation. The stem from 4th internode is flat and not circular. From the 7th node, although now plant shows alternate growth, two perfectly identical branches are growing closer to each other, a twin bud mutation. Precisely for this mutation I decided to apply a little supercropping by bending the branch with a flat section at 90 °. I hope it wasn't late and the double buds will recover. #update August 6, twin buds perfectly recovered from supercropping so I can hope for a monster bud!

So the Northern Lights free seed from RQS ended up out living all 3 of the Dosidos’ “USA Premium” seeds that all died within the first week of sprouting, hopefully an explanation will be found for this as I have not been able to come to any conclusion as to what happened. Day29F - still showing vast growth on buds, swelling and trichomes blossoming out. The colours starting to form nicely on the buds. Smells like a pungent caramel now. Day32F - This plant is so thick and strong, and can resist a dry and hot climate. For me this plant has been so easy, and she sucks up nutrients and loves it, 💪 Buds are getting dense and so sweet to smell. So fat and so many, I'm surprised on this auto 👏 well done again RQS. Day 68- Day 33F - the buds continue to swell and devolope. Trichomes flooding through now. Starting to see cloudy so will push for another week of nutes if she'll allow it after Friday, we'll see 😏✌️💚

Another good week come and gone. A couple of the girls needed nutrients so I add some general hydroponics blend into those that needed them. Didn't seem to make much difference yet. Like I said, great strain. I’ll cherish these last few ounces of headies. I’m going to keep this log going as I set out to flower some Apple Zauce and the fuck if I’m not going to complete what I set out to do. AZ 2 was culled and mulched. I got 3 pollen samples from it. I’m looking forward to chucking a lil pollen when the time is right. AZ3 is recovering well from almost being trashed. Even so, I may be waiting to put it into flower. I’ll decide this week it’s right on the line of being healthy enough to flip. Either way it has a week or two before that happens. AZ4, 5, 6 and the reveg are all super healthy and getting nice and tall. They’re all competing for canopy space and it’s a lovely sight. They are all still in .5 gallon veg cups and I will be transferring them all directly into both hdx bins with the rev’s soil mix this week or next. I’ll give them a week or two after that and then flip. I’ll also label each and grab cuttings before I flip. I also got a pack of fast bud gorilla cookies autos that I’ll be popping and keeping in the veg tent after this batch heads into flower. That’s the report for this week. So, the nutrient lock is fixed, the humidity is under control, and these ladies are looking super vigorous. We will flip very soon as the stretch will fill out any holes in the SCROG net. We will also clear the bottom of these plants in the next day or 2, taking lots of clones and making sure we have that SOG. We have introduced some workers, 10 praying mantis to keep an eye on any pests.. the video of the mantis is from another grow, not the OG kush Light is about 70% ATM and i will turn up to 80% today, Spiderfarmer have kindly sponsored us with a Light controller, that arrives imminently and as soon as it does, it's week 1 of flowering and the light will go to 80% - then 90, then 100.... We have had serious rain here, the relative humidity outside is 90% and the temp is 31 degrees. We continue to feed with our own nutrient schedule. Slightly increasing the nitrogen for the last week or som of pure Veg. Thoughts? Lets Gromore,

On day 1 I adjusted the PH of my reservoir down to 6.1. On day 2 I adjusted the PH of the reservoir from 6.3 to 6.1. On day 3 the buds are really starting to bulk up and are putting out side flower clusters already in week 5. I adjusted the PH to 6.1. The goal is to coast from 6.1-6.3 then back to 6.1-6.3 ect. On day 4 things look good I scoped out the trichs and found some to be filing up with cannabinoids :) maybe she will be done in 7-8 weeks like the breeder says. On day 5 my reservoir temp got into the 80's because when the reservoir gets depleted it lowers the water level below the thermostat and I'm getting into the colder months so the cold air temperatures are causing the heater to heat when not needed. My temporary fix is to place the heater diagonally when the water level gets low and then when the water level drops a little more I will fill my reservoir back up fully so to keep the heaters thermostat running correctly. On day 6 I did another defoliation to improve light penetration and airflow in the canopy. I installed a new "Nano aquarium heater" this will be able to heat my reservoir without being affected by the water level in my reservoir. I also changed out my reservoir and adjusted the PH to 6.1. On day 7 the girls are looking and smelling great! I adjusted my reservoirs PH from 6.6 to 6.1. My Nano aquarium heater seems to do the job nothing out of the ordinary that I could tell after a night in the low 30's.
