START WEEK 03/29/22
+Started with some Medium Defoliation this week. Sort of spooky. The girls don't enjoy being jacked around. However, they seemed to have recovered nicely. I'm relieved.
+Saw some real stretch the past week, beginning to form buds, pretty amazing and fun to watch the girls grow!
+I do realize my plants are different sizes because of experimentation. Not a good idea in practice but great learning. 2 plants have been ScrOG, topped, fimmed, supercrop, you name it. 1 plant just fimmed and 1 plant untouched. The results speak for themselves. 2 plants really wind up being trellised and natural. I hope I can make some decent and consistent buds to make "sort of" final comparison.

+beginning to smell VERY strong.
+I will do some leaf picking (not enough to consider defoliation) this week just to expose a few more sites. These plants have been extremely bushy and a challenge for a Newbie like me.
+Basically, I am just letting the plants do their thing.

THANKS FOR THE ANSWERS TO MY QUESTION LOTS OF HELP. BASICALLY, THE SAME CONCEPT. PROBABLY DIDN'T DO ENOUGH DEFOLIATION BUT IT GETS A BIT SCAREY (WHEN EVERYTHING DROOPS) AND I DO SORT OF SUBSCRIBE TO "LESS IS MORE" . May be incorrect but at least on this 1st grow it will probable be my practice.

?Should I? Can I? supplement red spectrum light? I have the ability just don't know if it is necessary. Also, might just be curious to see how my newly purchased light flowers. It's claims to be full spectrum?
?Do I need any additional boosters or additives? They appear to veg very well but I would like to make sure they get what they need to flower.
?Should I be popping seed for my next grow? Gotta get me a nice dedicated Veg light. Or maybe try autos?

Sorry for a few days late! I had to build some.shade out here for the ladies. Using a 50% shade cloth.
I want to make sure this ladie can finish out. As its already been a long road!!

Hello Hello grow family. This week has been good for the girls. They transitioned into flower showing flower sites all over. Still no big signs of deficiencies so will keep up the same routine besides adding a little GH CaliMagic. Starting to stretch more so can't wait to see just how tall they'll get. The plants are ready to be chopped and hung for 3-5 days. I removed all the fans leaves and left them all branches on the main stem. The ladies smell so strong I can wait to see how they turn out when they are dried and cured.
1) I plan to hang them for 3-5 days @ 71 f and 50-55 RH,
2) Do a final tight trim
3) Than I will move them to jars and cure for 2-3 weeks
I will update the diary with harvest pictures & weight before I move them to the jars for curing.
I think the seeds might have got mixed up when packing because these three plants were all supposed to be the same and you can clearly tell from the pictures that they are not.

Water: Reverse osmosis (RO) water
Nutrients: Greenhouse Feeding (planned for later stages)
Week 1 - Poppin' Off
The journey begins with a 10/10 germination rate — strong genetics showing their strength right off the bat! All seeds have sprouted and broken through the soil surface, ready to ride the wave of growth under a 320W LED, casting down consistent rays in the 120x60cm tent.
The initial focus? Establishing solid roots and healthy shoots in Floragard Growmix soil. No nutrients added yet; the young Donutz ladies are riding on the starter mix's nutritional buffer. RO water keeps everything clean and pH balanced, ensuring no unwanted minerals creep in this early.
Observations:
All seedlings looking vibrant, green, and strong.
Uniform growth across the board — perfect for the Sea of Green (SOG) method.
Temps stable, ensuring no stress.
Light is dimmed a touch for the youngins, keeping nodes tight but not overwhelming.
Next Steps:
The plan is simple — maintain stable conditions, keep an eye on humidity, and prepare to introduce Greenhouse Feeding once the seedlings are ready to crank up the nutrient game. For now, it's all about building those roots and establishing a foundation for the dense, resinous canopy that’s to come.

Report on week 3 of veg: I lower the RH to 50-55% while the RM stays relatively on the higher range: 27-29C daytime and 18-22 at night. I had nice visual on the 6th node of BB3, Larry Bird and Gelato plants and few cm. to avoid any eventual stem splitting, so i topped them. I guess the Gorilla will be ready for topping by tomorrow. Unfortunately i have to work with hard water so i have to keep constant eye on the water's EC. For this reason and from personal experience i wont increase the nutrients dosage any time before flowering. The high percentage of worm castings is doing wonders and help me a lot with the substrate's maintance. I did some runoff water measurements and end up with the following values: Gorilla had 2.75EC and 6.5pH, Gelato got 2.70/6.6, Larry 2.85/6.7 and BB 2.20/6.9. Substrate pH is 7.0. Once again, I have to say that Sunmaster's Dual Spectrum HPS are indeed super powerful lamps. I added another clip-fan to ensure a nice breeze around the plants. I will follow the general rule of thumb and give the plants 10-14 days to recover from the HST. Once i week i spray the plants with foliar iron-based nutrient solution👊 (Plagron Vita Race). It boosts the photosynthesis, plus it washes and cleans the leaves. P.s. only the Larry Bird is topped on the pictures. I topped other two today, but i didnt want to switch-off the lights in order to take pictures. Peace!

The plants have reached a stage where they have enough foliage and growth on them to begin training and defoliation. I cut most of the side growth and major fan leaves off. Using safety pins and twine, I started their LST.

It should be noted that with the current share of blue in the spectrum, the sprout does not stretch at all, I will probably adjust in favor of red in the coming days

Stardawg is beatiful.. I’ve grown it in the past and the plant was way smaller.. I think it will be the most yielding plant of this run and looks like may be the best taste too..
I finally managed to move however humidity is pretty high in my new place.. I am trying to put it down, hopefully it will work..

I did harvest some a week before the flush, the bud was decent and calming high with smooth smoke, very white ash.

July 16th.
As I mentioned last week, theres 4 girls left in a tent: Alaskan #1, #2, #3 & #5.
Alaskan #1, #3 & #5 will be chopped down at the end of this week. Finally they are ready at flowering week #12!!
Alaskan #2 would be shame to cut her and throw it away, so I decided to let her finish with my next grow. I think she will be ready in 3 weeks max, so it wont interupt my next run.
Watering: every 2 days.
Alaskan #1, #3 & #5. From the middle of the week 11 watering only pH corrected water (6.2 - 6.3 pH) to fully flush them before harvest.
Alaskan #2 was flushed for 1 week, no nuts, just 6.2 pH water and started all over again. Fox Farm Trio with BB 15ml, GB 10ml, TB 10ml per gallon ratio. Going to water using Fox Farm official schedule till the last 2 weeks, then going flush like always.
Stay tuned for my next grow to find out how her life is going lol 😆

While they didnt stretch as much as i had thought the nugs look frosty and ready to go with still a week left of life remaining. I'm not expecting a huge gram per plant number but still I'm very excited to try some of this stuff once shes dried, trimmed, and cured. ✂️😁

So the second seed of Ze Chem Bang is struggling. It has been growing slowly. It's my last seed so hopefully it roots the solution soon. It will have a much better chance of survival once it does. It can go either way at this point. The rock wool has gotten already growth from being wet for too long. So 🤞🏻 it goes well. Thank you Medic Grow, and Terpyz mutant Genetics. 🤜🏻🤛🏻🌱🌱🌱

11/19: they are now on just water and flawless finish. In 8 days I will chop them down. I am going to just fresh freeze them and then make bubble hash out of them a couple of days after.
I am still angry about the lack of purple, but happy with the grow as a whole, despite the dramatic differences in phenos.
