so this was the last week before harvest.. i intended to cut her down christmas day but decided to put her in 2 days of darkness before the chop.. she is now harvested an sat for a few days be4 entering jars for a curing.. the smell and these nugs is so yummi 😅

Today 7/30/19, day 57 and the start of week 9. I'm still continuing to alternate between days with my pesticide treatment (especially after finding that bug living on one of hulkberries fan leaf) and thrive alive green daily foliage spray as a prophylactic solution against any possible pests or mold going into these last few dog days of veg. I will flush them with distilled ph'd water for two days this weekend in preparation for flower. Then I'll start them on some "flower fuel" bloom booster on top of my secret for success flower recipe at 1/4 of the recommended strength. Outside of that still no adverse issue to report for the end of the 8th week. After my last trim, they both have responded very nicely, I was kind of worried about fat banana stalled growth. But one thing I noticed when I topped her at the 6th node, yes the main stem stopped growing but it developed many bud sites up and down every stem. Whereas hulkberry was topped at the 8th node, she has mainly focused on developing long stems and only 2 or 3 bud sites along her stems. Even though hulkberry in structure, is much bigger than fat banana and has a way bigger root system. Fat banana is bushier and has developed way more bud sites than hulkberry. I can't tell which strain will yield the most at this point only time will tell! Also, a big shout out to "J"@RQS, thank you for the excellent customer service. Another reason why Royal Queen Seeds is top 3 in breeding!!

It is a vigorous plant with very uniform branching, high resinous and high yield, if you grow from seed there are a few different phenos that I got, equally as good

Day 9 and allready can see the roots in the bottom of the first small pot. She is getting feed with Hesi Nutrients. Day 12 had to repot as you see in photos roots were ready to transplant

I exceeded all of my expectations!!! Imagined I would get around 80g of bud when finished. During drying I lowered my weight expectations to 40-50g just by looking at the buds. So you can imagine the look on my face when the final weigh-in came up to 104g!!!! Buds not super dense but not fluffy either. Really happy considering it's my first grow and using only organic, slow release (cheap-ish) fertilisers as most of my budget went to the set-up. Looking forward to keep improving!!!! In two weeks I will update with a smoke report!!!

Sounds like an epic strain and I personally cannot wait for this lady to strut her stuff!😍 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: This is going to be an outdoor grow, but I have started the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod indoors as our weather is still a bit too chilly to put a newly sprouted seedling outside (nighttime temp's dipping regularly into the 40's℉). The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50's℉, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes from BioTabs and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. Week 6 of flower and the FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photoperiods flowers are exploding now! 9/22- My daily routine of watering, removing dead foliage and checking over the Papaya Sherbet continues. She is unfortunately starting to show signs of Septoria which is a bummer, but at least it's showing up late in flower so it hopefully won't affect the outcome too much. 9/24- Our weather has now cooled off dramatically, with daytime highs in the mid 60's℉, and nighttime temperatures dipping into the low 50's℉. As a result I have cut back on the amount of water the Papaya Sherbet photo is receiving daily. 9/26- There's another exciting week of flowering on the books for the FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photo and from the looks of her, she only has a couple of weeks to go! Привет любители травки Началась новая неделя С утра я подгибал ветки на цветке и одна кола лопнула и переломилась и осталась висеть на четверти стебля После перелома меня охватила паника и боль , но я вовремя зафиксировал стебель и наложил ей шину Прошло пол дня и вроде все обошлось Стебель у этой девочки жесткий , но хрупкий с ней LST очень аккуратно надо проводить А в целом мне нравится её генетика . Day 40 Сегодня я поменял раствор на стадию цветения будем дальше наблюдать как пойдут дела
