Today is 3 weeks since Mexican Airlines broke out of the soil to become a seedling. She has really done a lot of cool growth in the time👍. I'm going to try changing up my training methods with this girl. First, I'm only doing one HST bend near the base of the stem (did this on Tuesday). Next, I'm going to try FIM'ing this time, instead of topping. GWE seemed to recommend a FIM pinch one a FIM cut, so that's what I did on Thursday. Last, I'm going to try LST again. If everything goes according to my evil plans, she should be my largest yield to date. 💪 Mexican Airlines is front-center in the group pics.

01/04/2022- Hello and welcome all been away on some family matter. So today was the last day this girl got watered and will also be the last day she got light as well, she will be cut down Friday morning. The smell has gotten a lot more stronger since flush was started last week Wednesday. Will update before I chop her down.

I went ahead and sprayed her down with Neem oil and I'll keep an eye out to try and determine what the culprit is. 5/6- Rain showers today handled the watering duties and all I did was to add some straw to a couple of bare spots on the mound. 5/8- I'm not seeing much in the way of any new damage to the leaves of the FastBuds GG4 Sherbet FF. I will continue with the Neem oil preventative, along with spreading some powdered cayenne pepper around the base of the plant to take care of any slugs that may think of trying a taste of sherbet! Dear friends, cultivating this strain has been quite an adventure, and also an incredibly enjoyable growing experience! Having desired to grow this strain for some time, I finally had the opportunity to explore its potential and see what I could achieve with it. For this being my first grow it showed me I have a GREEN THUMB!

I'll be updating the comment with the daily log shortly, but figured I'd get the photos and weekly overview up. I started off this week with a topping at about the 4th node, leaving the larger fan leaves on for now. I then left then alone for a bit while I waited for the new branches at the nodes to grow out, rotating as needed. By the end of the week, they had all bushed back up with new foliage and growth. I also included photos pf the flowering mother plant to keep up with that sneak peak. She still wasn't showing signs of flowering, so I gave her an extra 24 hours of darkness to hopefully kick start the process. As I went to go shut unplug the light source, I noticed that there was a smaller light leak from one of the vent ports, so I also made sure to close that up. At the end of the week when she started to show signs of flowering, I defoliated her to help with light penetration, as she's got massive fan leaves. You'll see in the photos that I took that opportunity to decarb the trim as well. I'm sure there's little to no THC-A, but whatever other compounds are present should make for a nice addition to some butter later on down the road. I just won't factor it in when approximating the potency of the final product.

She is experiencing a general yellowing all over. I contacted Advanced Nutrients support and they consulted me to increase the feeding. Let’s hope that she recovers fast. On the other hand, she keeps growing buds. Maybe a little stunned. That’s why I am waiting another 2 days for lollipoping.

and every day we come closer to harvest hmmm time is torture now. best grow i ever done nutrients controlled only once in week plant very vorgiving all my mistakes. awesome. i bend the side down and well im breake it so i hope he will survive and i call it planed HST.

Slt, nous sommes à la fin de la 2ème semaine. Les plantes semblent se developer normalement. Il y a un léger décalage entre les pieds due au retard pendant la germination, mais sans conséquences pour la suite. J’ai noté tout de même une très légère brûlure sur une ou deux feuilles, probablement due à un démarrage trop tôt en nutriments, à corriger pour les prochaines sessions. J’ai aussi baissé de 5% l’humidité, je suis passé de 70% pendant la 1ère semaine à 65% pour la 2ème. Maintenant je vais stabiliser à 60% pendant toute la période de croissance. Pour l’arrosage, je n’ai presque pas arrosé pendant les 2 premières semaines, ou vraiment très légèrement avec un peu de pulvérisations foliaires. Maintenant j’arrosage avec 0,50cl par pots, je pense 1 fois ou 2 par semaines, je verrais, et j’augmenterais petit à petit avec la croissance. Voilà c’est à peu près tout pour cette semaine... Happy grow..

I'm pretty much on auto pilot at this point.. im still just feeding compost extracts to keep it simple. There's a couple things I want to point out this week; I've also included a video of my cheese auto and no extra cost to the reader 😅🤣 PROCESS/ENVIRONMENT CHANGES - I've lowered the temp inside my tent a little bit to help keep my VFD between a good range for flower (1.0 - 1.5). I also changed the RH on my humidity controller when the temperature goes down after the lights go off. It's kind of a hassle but it's the only way I can stay in the range I'm looking for. - I've started to raise the pH of my water slowly... I want it to be between 6.6. And 6.8 at this point. - I've increase all my lights.. my Sf4000 is at 85% intensity and both my Ts1000s are sitting at around 75% intensity. - I've increased all my fans running. My intake is maxed out, my exhaust is on '6' and my fans inside my tent are all maxed out.. the cheese auto is drowning my entire house out hahaha its crazy. -I've cut off a whole bunch of fan leaves, larf, bottom branches and a bunch of other unwanted stuff.. I'm hoping that she thickens up fairly like some of her sister's in the tent 🤞 cutting off all the unwanted junk might help at least move more air at the bottom of the canopy.. at most it will help direct energy to other parts of the plant therefore producing a better flower. If she does fill out I'll have to support her side branches so they don't fall over. - Every day I rotate the plants in my tent so that the get to experience the light in different ways. Both of the girls are really packing on the weight now. These are their last week or two. Haven't decided whether I'm going to harvest this week or next. But you'll see a harvest post soon, I'm sure :) It doesn't look like left is quite ready for harvest(white hairs popping up still), but I'm going to chop them both at the same time, regardless. I may do so a bit later on account of left being behind. If anything, I'll just harvest right, then do left a week or so later. Cheers everyone! Really like this strain, but it does have quite ugly leaves lmao. Update: The girls officially got the chop on the 20th. They've been drying ever since. Did a leaf strip and then hung em up. Stay tuned next week for a grow/smoke report :) Harvested at about 90% cloudy 10% amber trichs. The smell is incredible! I can smell it as soon as I open the door to the room they're drying in. This was a pretty fun grow, but I don't think I'll be running this strain again during the winter. Looking for more hardy strains to better handle our fluctuating climate.
