Got some signs of light stress via mid to late flower, so maybe 4 plants might help spread out the energy and increase yeild.

Sat 7/8: - Transplanted a runted Purple Lemonade auto into a small plastic pot (1/2 litre), from 3 gal fabric pot. Put it back in the veg tent where there is more room. It is wasting space in the flowering tent. Suspect over watering early on as issue. - Shifted a Grapefruit auto from the veg tent to the flowering tent to replace the Purple Lemonade. A little early, so it is on a pedestal to reach the canopy. - Planted a Fastberry and a Gorilla Cookie auto. - Harvested 20g wet from the CBD20:1 (8w). Sun 8/8: - Changed light cycle from 18/6 to 20/4. - Fed plants, varying mixture by plant age. CBD20:1 is now only on water at every feed. - Tied main stem down on Grapefruit auto (3w). - Set up endoscope camera to capture the Grapefruit response to LST. - Continued lollipopping Strawberry Pie (5w) and Kosher Cake(4w). Tues 10/8: - both the Gorilla Cookie and the Fastberry seeds popped. I’ve put them under icecream containers in the veg tent so they don’t dry out too quickly. Wed 11/8: - Small targeted watering with no feed. Thurs 12/8: - feed plants that needed to be watered. Sat 14/8: - Harvested the remaining CBD20:1 at 9 weeks, 73g wet - Harvested undersized Lemon Pie at 8 weeks, 26g wet. - Planted a Gelato auto and a Wedding Cheesecake auto from Fast Buds. Well she is doing excellent!! The smell is like earth, kush. But the smell of the stems are sweet like citrus, orange type smell. So sweet. The main branches are really strong so that means I trained her well. The thricomes are showing beautiful. She really enjoys her place and she is showing that. I can see that the Green Sensation is doing great. She still is stretching out but not so hard. I think she is almost stretched out. Man it is so amazing to see the whole process.😀

The ladies light schedule was changed to 12/12 on Oct.30!❤️ The girls were doing great about 1 week after their big defoliation and SCROG being put in, I decided to flip to flower. I had been tucking and bending and had achieved about 80-90% canopy coverage, the last bit should fill in this week as they begin to stretch. During the 1st week of flower transition, I continued to tuck and bend where I could, trying to maintain an even canopy of tops, as well as fill in as many of the squares, as evenly as I can. It becomes a morning and night routine, I check on my humidifier, say good morning, and tuck away for about 5 minutes or so, it doesn’t take much at this point. Once the first week of stretch is through, I stop tucking branches and allow the tops to continue to grow upwards. I find that by using a SCROG method, there isn’t really a whole lot to do…I don’t defoliate until week 3, so it’s just feeding every 3-4 days and filling my humidifier! When I water is when I like to get under the canopy and check the stems and leaves for anything that shouldn’t be… and typically once a week after watering I’ll wipe down the tent and sanitize any surface I can. There is no reason to get lazy, that’s how you get Pests, Mold, and PM. Happy Gardening 🇨🇦👊❤️

I had to top Cantaloupe haze and White widow as they were too close to the lights and I didn't want to loose any ppfd on my lowers. My GSC seems perfect for not topping. next time I would top those strains at least once. I have been flushing the CH and getting run off around 1200ppm which seems like the max she can take the others like it stronger so I have been flushing them every 2-3 days. CH is tough to keep happy but will continue to monitor. All plants are in week 4 of flower 12/12 from seed.

Partway through last week I noticed that there was no runoff after feedings. I increased the time the fertigation pump runs to 2 mins twice a day. It seems like either the root system is drinking up more or the added aeration has changed how much runoff comes out. Plant 1 has fallen behind in growth. The inter-nodal spacing was so tight that the new growth was being strangled by the older fan leaves and other growth. I adjusted the LST to help and pruned a very small amount of leaves. It seems to be doing better, but is several inches shorter than Zkittlez 2 which has had some really explosive growth. I started the scrog today, bending many of Zkittlez 2’s branches down to fill out the tent. I bent a few branches on Zkittlez 1, but it’s still a little short. This week I upped the nutrients, almost doubling the Cocos A & B, Multizen and Cal Mag. I still tried to keep EC down though, only allowing it to rise by about 300mS/cm. This could actually be the first week of flower, but think I’ve started to spot some pistils, but I’m not sure. I can’t find the breeder’s info, but think it’s supposed to have a 4 week veg time and 10 week flowering period. Update: lots of pistils being thrown out especially from Zkittlez 2. It’s definitely the first week of flower. There has been a lot of growth since the start of the week. I continued to bend branches down and tuck them under the net, but now that buds are really starting to take shape I'm going to lay of any further stressing. I noticed that there was little runoff over the past couple days. Yesterday (Monday) I had to refill the reservoir and mix up new nutrients because there was only an inch of water left. These girls have gotten a lot thirstier over the past 2 weeks. I've upped the feeding times to 3 minutes twice a day.

Last week I thought that the 50cm distance between the light and the top of the canopy was ok. But this week, I get some signs of light burns on every plants and I decided to put it back to 60cm. This distance seems to work best for this grow. I think the Cashew Kush shows some slight signs of nitrogen deficiency so I added a bit of BioGrow (1ml/l) and hope it will help. As part of the "Tent-X Ultimate Grow Challenge" contest, I received a free Tent-X controller, a MBS-TH Humidity/temperature/light sensor and a LMA-14 light control adapter. I requested them on sunday and get them on thursday so it was super fast, thank you @TrolMaster_Europe ! 👌 ------------------------------- Controller + MBS-TH review ------------------------------- The Tent-X controller combined with the MBS-TH sensor provides information about temperature and humidity. The light detector of this sensor is used to trigger the day/night mode of the Tent-X controller but doesn't measure light intensity (you need another sensor for that). I've tried to connect the controller to the phone app and it seemed to work. I will not use this function because it requires to connect the controller to the internet with an Ethernet cable and I don't have an Ethernet plug in my grow room. I set-up a rudimentary fixation system to hang the controller and the sensor since I'm not growing in a tent, but it works haha. Now, I can make my measurement in the center of the canopy instead of making them just above the ground. ---------------------------------------- LMA-14 light control adapter review ---------------------------------------- This adapter allows you to control your light via a RJ45 cable. I'm not using it because my light and my fan are synchronized and my fan cannot be controled by a RJ45 cable. I don't want to have a timer for the fan and a controller for the light. I just use the timer for both. However, Trolmaster sells some plug sockets that can be controled by RJ45 cable so you can control everything with your Tent-X controller.

Steady development. Another watering of same as on the 18th. Except watering I am spraying soil surface with water every few hours. 22/10 day 14 I would called a perfect week. Athena it's a bit faster than Xena in early growth but this early faster development means nothing. With the new netting up, I switched on the red lights along with the blues to help the plants stretch a bit to reach through the screen. It looks like it is taking effect, so late in the week (Friday) I trimmed some of the lower branches. Last week I FIMmed Zoe and Grace to give River a chance to catch up, and I expected 1 of 2 results: 1) FiMming will encourage growth in the cut plants causing them to grow taler than River, or 2) Things will stabilize and River will be on par with her siblings. But instead, I discovered a 3rd result: River is continuing to grow bigger and thicker each day and is even taller and fuller than her sisters. In addition though, the trimmed plants are developing nice, strong, sizable leaves, and most of the new growth is coming from down below, rather than near the top. Oh, and this week I added a new camera (Wyze) to the time lapses so I can take my pro camera out.

- Humidity was low beginning of the week and the temperature was quite high. But, I still managed to hit the ideal values. Towards the end of the week, the average humidity in my city was at the high 70s which reflected into the tent. - VPD fluctuated this week between 1,0 and 1.65 kPa, averaging at 1,42 kPa. - Tent temperature fluctuated around 24 at night and 28 Celsius at day time, averaging at 25.5. - Humidity did not fluctuate as it used to beginning of the week but it spiked crazy towards the end, averaging at 56.4 which is much better than the last week. - I am now giving standard 6.4 Ph Water. - Frosting slowed down but the flowers are getting bigger. - Stickiness and smell keep getting stronger.

Day 99 09/08/24 Friday Feed today, using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6, no plagron products this week due to seeing nute burn. But she has bounced back yet again from a heavy defoliation and topping last week. Trying to keep her small enough to flip in the tent 🤞 She is a demon though!! And here we are! CHOP DAY! This strain has been impressive and smells like a bag of oranges! Oh so lovely! This girl packed on the weight. Several branches are hanging and has caused some side branching to separate from the main stalk(my fault for cutting the scrog net). Will definitely be growing this strain again!

May 13th - Day 86: I flipped to flower last Friday, May 10th (3 days ago on Day 83), but the plants received their first bath today. Humidity levels were brought down to a maximum of 61%, and temperatures to a maximum of 28°C (though they reach 33°C when the lights are on, and I can't seem to lower them further). I added a third cycle to the watering automation system, so the plants are now being watered three times a day for one minute each. I defoliated the plants quite heavily as I wasn't able to reach the desired humidity level. I will be gone for a week, maybe even two. Let's see how the babies grow. May 17th - Day 90: I came back today to a disaster. The automated watering system failed for four days, and the dehumidifier kept running, bringing humidity down to 35%, likely resulting in the loss of more than one plant. I'm so disappointed in myself but still keeping my hopes up. I watered everything heavily, trimmed the crispy leaves, sprayed the leaves with pH 6.5 water, and increased the humidity levels in the tent. Will update tomorrow. May 18th - Day 91: Unbelievable. Most of the plants recovered as if nothing happened. Two of them might be dead, but I still have hope. Let's see.
