Considering these ladies were all five in a 40l pot, I am pretty happy with how they turned out. My intention was to LST them away from each other to give them room, but unfortunately a combination of moving house and lack of space meant that plant didn't happen, so they were certainly restricting each other light. I am really very excited to give them a proper focused grow in the upcoming series. I will add more to this when I fill in the smoke report.

New grower, always looking to improve. Continuous drip, expanded clay system with an 80L reservoir. Nutrients mixed to a 40L ratio. (Half strength) Recovering from accidentally leaving the drip feed for about 18 hours, and then nutrient locking the clones the previous week.

This lil lady is officially flowering. Half way through the week she started growing pistils all over. Switched the lights to 12:12 half way through the week. She recovered from the LST of tying down her top. Room has averaged 85° F / 40% RH with a high of 89° F Ordered larger oscilating fan hoping to get the heat down a bit. Been dealing with fungus gnats in some other plants in the house so I sprinkled ceylon cinnamon on top of the soil, to act as an organic fungicide, and sprayed her down with neem oil as a pest prevention. 💧 Watered: Tuesday May 5, 2020 with 4:1 Water to Hydrogen Peroxide. Installed 6in oscilating fan blowing at the light. Heat is still too high. ~85° average Raised light to 18in above canopy. Shes responding well to the LST and several nodes below the top have now started showing noticible growth.

Day 88🌞 What can I say this week went by quickly because of Christmas and New Year... I looked less into the tent. The trichomes of all plants are developing very well. They were fed Overdrive for the first time. Amnesia: The buds are slowly becoming more voluminous and quite sticky. Slowly the typical Amnesia smell spreads in the tent. Biscotti: Look very tasty and frosty. Development of the trichomes is very good, the buds swell. Lemon Power Haze: All 3 plants look different. LPH#1 is the smallest in terms of bud size, I think it will take longer than the 8 weeks. The trichomes of LPH#3 are very pronounced and the most beautiful of all 3 plants. Day 90 🌞💧 3 liter each Plant, small drain.

The plants are growing pretty well and I did some trimming and LST to prepare them for flower next week. There is one phenotype that is really short and bushy compared to the other 2. i just fed the plants once nutrients because i did transplanted my plant like every 10 days. They are very resistent against LST, trimming and topping. 🌴🍪🔥

5/23/2023 Week 7- Day 1 of Flower (Day 110 overall) (Day 49 of Flower) There was a couple of small super small sucker buds on the lower stocks that needed to be cleaned off but that was it. Just watching them Flower!! 5/24/2023 Week 7- Day 2 of Flower (Day 111 overall) Tucked a few fan leaves below lower buds but didn't see any blatant offenders that needed to be removed. I typically do start my checks in Week 8 but since this is a new strain I decided to go ahead and do a Trichome check just to see what was what.. Just as I thought nothing but clear glassy Trichomes. I will check again in one week.... 5/25/2023 Week 7- Day 3 of Flower (Day 112 overall) Just letting them grow today!! Smell is getting stronger I would say it is a hint of Pine and a heavier fruity smell. 5/26/2023 Week 7- Day 4 of Flower (Day 113 overall) I did Nothing but took some pics and I enjoyed it!!!! Hi all just finished another week having trouble with humidity since fan went marshydro said they out of stock but will send me a new one the minute they have it in which is a month haha 😄 all be harvest by then hopefully god help neighbours that's all I can say haha bought a new dehumidifier off amazon a shit cheap one not even making a difference at all haha so today splashed out a 100 euro for one so hopefully that'll do the job. other than all looking good I think. But actually if someone could tell me will I defoliate more leaves she very bush bit I'm afraid of disturbing flower so im leaf tucking but she is very bushy haha. also im looking at other diarys on this and my plants buds not as big or as far along as many im on 9 weeks on the dot at the moment if anyone with more knowledge please let me know. Thank you to everyone for following this journey! The results were nuts. Honestly, I would've been happy with 40g dry as this is my first grow. I DEFINITELY did not expect this outcome which is insane. This gives me so much confidence in my future grows and appreciation for the companies whose products I used. So, now to the point - Dry weight - Top class buds - 176g, smaller buds - 32g, larf/leaves/scissor hash - 26g. To sum up - 208g of product you can smoke and 26g that'll go to edibles. First grow, 2x2 tent, 100w light, three-part fertilizer and cal mag - that's insane, especially because I was expecting nothing more than 60g and like I mentioned, I would've been happy with 40g. I even thought my scale was broken or something went wrong, I still can't believe I pulled 208g of bud. It took 117 days from seed to smoke - that's disregarding the cure. Seed to flower in 42 days. Flower to harvest in 61 days. 14 days drying. Thank you to FastBuds, I've sent them an email about the grow with some questions and got a speedy reply with some pointers towards the end of the flower. Also, I don't have anything to compare this grow with but I had 0 issues with pests which I was really happy about. I didn't have to spray anything on the plants, didn't have a single bug inside the tent. They mention on the website that NL is a very resilient strain so that might've been because of this specific strain. Spiderfarmer light did amazing too - 208g of bud from 100w light!. General Hydroponics did way better than I expected - there's so many companies with multiple bottles of nutrients that expect you to spend ridiculous amounts of money on their products while I got crazy results with just 3 basic bottles. Cal and Mag by Canna worked with no complaints. Takeaways - seems like the runoff pH doesn't matter in coco - I could be wrong but I struggled with coco pH from the very beginning. Regardless, the outcome speaks for itself. Maybe the harvest would've been even better with an optimal pH but in this particular grow, I don't think it mattered much. Before starting this grow I've done A LOT of research and it looks like it most definitely paid off! I was panicking at first because of the slow growth. The plant also had some leaf deformities and the color wasn't as green as I've expected it to be. It was stressful at first, I think especially because I was constantly comparing my grow to someone else's. This specific LST method where I kept rotating the main stem clockwise every day or two paid off as well. The canopy was relatively even and new tops grew crazy fast. The only thing left to do is to cure the bud. I had two 1.5L containers ready for cure/storing since I didn't expect to pull much but had to go acquire a few more "big boys" to fit all the product in, which is a good problem to have. I don't think that I'll be updating the cure here but the plan is to burp 2x/day for 15-30min each time for the first week and 1x/day for 15-30min the second week. After the first couple of weeks I won't be timing the burps. As of now, I've placed boveda 62% packs inside the containers to maintain a RH of at least 58% in the jars. About the Northern Lights strain - the smell hasn't fully returned yet post trim, but it smells like sweet fruits with a hint of black pepper. You can still smell a bit of pine/grass but I think that'll be gone after the cure. Buds are covered with trichomes, they shine like diamonds when you take a better look. Also, the buds look a little airy but are still really dense when pressed. The smoke - It's a tasty, relaxing high. I get why people describe it as night time smoke but for me personally, it grounds me a bit and I can enjoy it anytime. Also, it burns white ash :)) P.S. BLUE CUSH DAY 49 FROM SPROUT She is a bushy plant with dark leaves of an almost blue tint. Removed the plastic wrap covering and still seems to be no more gnats.

Everything is filling up the canopy nicely so I flipped to flower (10/19/18) so they don’t get to out of control during the first couple weeks as they like to stretch. Will be doing a slight Lollipopping in the next day or 2 and will have to add a second layer of trellis either this week or next.
