It was a fun week, started introducing Ripen, and the frost is stacking up! Next week I will start flushing and let them get bigger. Now it gets easier, water only.

So the first week of a 12 on 12 light schedule is behind us. As you can see she started to elongate very well, most of the branches grew out to the same hight without any LST or HST training. The Bilberry Lamp is showing it's quality. You can see that both the spectrum and the power work great for the plant. Nothing special happened this week. She showed her first "hairs". Fed her twice each time with the mentioned dosages from the BAC Organic line. I try to keep na 9 degrees Celsius difference between night and day. Just trying to keep her happy and hope that all goes well.

My first seed didn't make it due to technical difficulties, so I popped another to try to maximize the output from the mini machine. She is growing well at day 7. Seeing some leaf curling from her adjusting to the environment, but she is still showing steady growth. She is a week behind the 2 plants that were originally germinated. She will be topped around day 10 or 12 as soon as the third node comes up enough to pinch off. I started this setup to compete in the solo cup challenge, but I needed something that will be minimal maintainence and doesn't require hand watering. So this is what I ended up with. I will not be entering since I know it will bring controversy, but I am going to follow the rules and treat this grow as if I am competing. I didn't want to use regular solo cups because last time I had a lot of algae growing in the root zone when I harvested. I opted to use a black light proof cup. These cups were 27 oz originally so I filled them with 16 oz of water, marked the level, then cut them down to 16 oz. I set the drain pipes about an inch from the bottom so they have a little reserve if I have pump or power issues. I know people will see the drains as a way for roots to grow out of the cup but in reality I have to keep the entire pipe free of roots or it will clog and overflow. So I am actually losing a little volume due to this. I filled the bottom inch or so of the cups with river gravel to stop the perlite from washing into the reservoir. I am running a 5 gallon reservoir with a small air pump and the plants will be getting irrigated 24 hours a day from an aquarium power head pump. I set the system up to be totally self contained and easily portable. It was all built from things I had laying around other than 97¢ for the cups. I will be keeping the feed simple as always feeding maxigro and maxibloom with a couple flower boosters.

10/18/24 the pistils are coming in nice. im worried about the possible presence of mites and thrips though. will keep an eye on it

So far everything good! No severe nutrient shortage nor toxicity. No disease or pests. My Mexican Ladies just chilling and bulking. Starting to smell Wonderful!

GSC Extreme autoflower from ILGM has grown really well. Looking really dense, and smelling great. Full of trichromes. She was a late bloomer, but made up for it when she did. Looks like a heavy yield of some dank buds. The Viparspectra P4000 worked excellent. Thank you ILGM, and Viparspectra. L'unico problema al momento è il ph che ogni giorno salta di 1 punto in più...da 5.9/6.0....a 7 anche 7.3... Nuovo problema: devo mettere un altra pietra porosa ad ossigenare il secchio principale,in modo che i residui non si fermino sul fondo vaso dello stesso... Ok tutto fatto...ho aggiunto una piccola pompa d'aria al vaso centrale.... altro ossigeno oltre che smuovere con le bolle il fondo...😉 Si è alzato un po' E..ora è a 0.8...mentre il ph si è stabilizzato sui 5.9-6.0

And as soon the lamp comes in they gone go on 20/4 hour light schedule and probably going to transplant them in 3 gallon fabric bags with fresh plagron batmix Day 3 Vegetation phase Transplant went oké and soil still looked demp so i will wait day with watering Day 4 Vegetation phase Growing nicely. Trying to find the sweet spot brightness lamp to hight ratio Day 5 Vegetation phase Nothing to tell but going well. loving the marshydro lamp 👌👌👌 Day 6 vegetation phase All good under the marshydro hood Day 7 vegetation phase This week went great. 8/23 shes smelling so much like blueberries💚 im super concerned with the amount of leaves my plants are cannibalizing/ losing. They've been turning yellow and then eventually golden brownish crisp and fall off. The leaves that are falling off, only seem to be fan leaves and all the leaves around the pistils/main parts of branches/plant, all seem to be intact and very healthy still. I hope she's able to stay healthy till the finish of the grow. First outdoor grow. Learning experience 💚🤘I should have added some fish meal in the middle of July so she had some nitrogen for the beginning of flowering. I'm concerned the leaves lost is due to nitrogen deficiency. But I'm 3 weeks into flower and dont want to confuse her with more nitrogen than I have been giving 8/24 fed some more open sesame. 8/28 thinking my plants have been having a ph lock out causing magnesium deficiency

Gelato x GMO is taking off in the 15 gallon pot, showing rapid growth every day. The Blue MOBs seem to have stopped growing vertically in the 5 gallon buckets and are now filling out existing branches while they all reach for the sun. The 15 gallon Blue MOB seems to still be growing in height as well as filling out existing branches. Heavy rain has been persistent with few days of direct sunlight yet plants are still growing. Massachusetts ended up receiving the tail end of a big storm so I have not had to water them the entire week, the soil has stayed damp and kept the plants hydrated

Started overdrive this week. Should definitely see an increase in bud size now. Some trichromes are already cloudy. I’m planning to give these another 2 weeks and more if need to get the balance of 50/50 amber/cloudy

Day 29. Heavy work in progress, update will follow... Day 30. Job done, most lost almost all big fan leaves, all 3 Kushes where toped. In plans one more heavy training session in a week time, few days to recover and hopefully flower !!! Skunks overgrew Cheeses and start to smell, really to STINK ;)) And i love it !!! Next watering - full feed. Day 31. All Kushes have mini mag deficiency, but i get it with my lights often and know how to fight in early stages. All girls will get 3 feeds in a row. 1. CalMag only 2. Silica acid only 3. Full range of Biobizz feed. After installing new air fans, have to water girls almost every day. Try to feed them only once a week, but pot space taken in full by most of the girls and its time for first mini boost. Day 34. Girls got really heavy defoliation, HST , toping and LST session. First time in my life i trim toped plants so much, but they where reaching sky and stems too fragile for supercroping yet, i do it on branches, but not on mains. So i guess they will slow down a bit ;))) All girls got silica acid after. Happy Growing !
