~ FastBuds PAPAYA SHERBET Photoperiod~ Well here we go on another journey together through 'Canna-land' and this one's kinda special... forget that, it's VERY special because this is FastBuds newest surprise for the community, a FEMINIZED PHOTOPERIOD STRAIN!🤯 I was fortunate enough to score these seeds, of which only 1000 were available and can't wait to see what this strain can do! This Papaya Sherbet, according to FastBuds, is a hybrid with a 9-10 weeks flowering period. Sounds like an epic strain and I personally cannot wait for this lady to strut her stuff!😍 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: This is going to be an outdoor grow, but I have started the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod indoors as our weather is still a bit too chilly to put a newly sprouted seedling outside (nighttime temp's dipping regularly into the 40's℉). The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50's℉, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes from BioTabs and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. Let the fun begin!🤪💚 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 9/12- Week 5 of flower is upon the FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photoperiod and she's looking like a champ! 9/14- My daily routine of watering, removing dead foliage and checking over the flowers continues. 9/16- The flowers on the Papaya Sherbet are all stacking nicely and are really starting to get super frosty! 9/18- Storms came thru overnight and in the morning I found that the Papaya Sherbet had sustained some damage. Right where the divide was from being topped she split. I quickly mended the split with duct tape and crossed my fingers for luck. I also place a couple more support poles to help support her. With another week of flower behind her, the Papaya Sherbet is looking to be in great shape for the upcoming weeks where she'll be putting on weight! There is not much to tell this week :) A few came to the flowering tent, 2 are still in the vegi phase for 2 days and then come last to the flowering tent :-) The Blue Cheese and the Kosher Tangie Kush smell very good and how they should 😍👍 It will be difficult to choose 2 mums :-). Day 22 Took off lower three nodes of side branches on each main branch. Removed 4 leaves

Had to move this one into the flower chamber of the BlumenBot DZ1 cabinet since I'm curing epoxy rosin in the room where the BlumenBot Solo cabinet is in. Cleaned her up quite a bit, the canopy is nearly there, she might catch up to mendo breath and flip at the same time. 10/8 - cleaned her up a little more and took out a few tops and fan leaves. Also put little 90* angle clips on 4 of the shoots

8/14/2024 Topped plant A due to the node spacing and side branching. Hopefully, this will cause this pheno to bush out a bit more. Intentionally FIMed plant B due to the short internodal spacing and difficulties getting a clean cut for a topping. This plant is already quite bushy and condensed - hoping that it will respond nicely to FIM. Water was not changed over entirely, only added one fresh gallon of nutrient water with additional nutrients added to step up entire system to close to 575-600ppm. Both plants are looking great, root zone needs some improvement with water temperatures. I have ordered a larger water cooler and hope that will help reduce the water temperature inside the tent. Although water temps are a bit high in the buckets, the roots are flourishing and are pearly white! 8/16/2024 Noticed Plant A is showing signs of potassium issues. Added one fresh gallon of non-nutrified water as I was unable to complete a water change. 8/17/2024 Pumped out 5 gallons of nutrient water and refreshed with 5 new gallons. Both plants look to be responding well to the water change. The resulting PPM was 650 after allowing time for the system to reach equilibrium. Extra insulation on the buckets is helping to maintain lower water temperatures throughout the day with lights on in the tent. The environment is pretty well dialed in at an average 1.2-1.6 VPD. 8/19/2024 Replaced water cooler with one that is twice the size and rated for 15-gallon systems. Running reservoir temp target at 18.5 C. Conducted some minor LST on the bushy plant (Plant B) to get the middle opened up a bit more. Did some leaf tucking on plant A to get the lower branches some more direct light. 8/20/2024 Both plants are looking phenomenal. There is a very slight cannabis smell in the tent at all times.

FBT 2307 did really well. She has aone. Ice big colas. I did have a ph issue with wrong nutrition base that damaged leaves in early flowering. Once a new solution was given it had stopped. She has a earthy flowery smell. Loaded with frost, and buds feel dense. She will hang for 24 hours then go into the cannatrol. Been abit lst with posting and both with the plants as I say first time grow me and pal ain’t got a scooby ran into few problems with nutes this week and rust spots showing on leaves after reading online have been feeding nutes once a week on a saturaday and watering 2 days after with 6.2 water n calmag 1ml per litre (in hindsight was feeding the nutes it said on back of bottle and ended up burning couple the plants )

ScrOGed this girl in the big flowering tent. Lots of stretch and good development this week. Budsites dknt appear too far between each site. Super excited about this monster cropped plant... thinking she’ll be my biggest yielding Purple Trainwreck plant to date. Crossed this girl with an unknown bag seed. He can either be another pt plant with perhaps a different pheno or a white widow plant based on the seeds I had available as a possibility. Pollinated and marked a branch on this girl, unsure of the strain on the male but whatever he is he’s a hybrid. He appeared indica as a seedling and throughout veg but the sativa look dominated him in flower. Dark green and healthy, I’m excited to see what kind of crosses I can make. Pollinated branches are marked with a green plant tie.

2/26 Week 9 /3 flower Still looking for their nuet levels. Reducing CT Bloom by 25% just learning the DTW system and how these strains act. Still white tips, run off at 650 ppm so not sure whats the deal yet. Upping PK to 5ml/gal Lights doing well, should have done this long ago 2/27 The very first signs of a mag def began so keeping the feed at 4ml/gal and wait to see what develops. Basically the same thing that happened when I did this in veg. Till I hear back from Fast Buds or someone has a suggestion just going to sit on it and keep em healthy. PK to 5ml/gal Switching to HPS light in the HID tomorrow as the stretch seems to have ended. Update: Fast Buds got back so quickly, thanks. Going to let the white tips go and watch other factors for feeding. The tips were always my marker for nitrogen so will watch color and curl from here on. Going up to 5ml/gal on the bloom nuets at the morning feeding. Use that as a base line from here on Thanks @HighRoller909 You are on the same wavelength as Fast Buds 👍 2/28 Looking well All nuets at 5ml/gal In PPM 750 - Out PPM 800 - Not surprising given the increase HPS installed - light defoliation of canopy Smells and buds - Buds will be greenish primarily with a predominate berry/fruity smell you only get during defoliation at this point. Yall want to start a pool on what these may be? 😏 Change of view: Looking back if I had to be honest I would flip week 7 from flower to veg. I really dont think it took till maybe the last day or two of the week. Slightly important as we are looking closely at finishing time on these strains. Going to keep a day count of flower from here and this will be ... 2/28 Day 10 of flower 2/29 Day 11 Adjusted nuets slightly increased to 800ppm by increasing CocoTek and decreasing slightly the PK. Increased runoff to 25% for a mini-flush 3/2 Day 13 Flower Flipped week 7 to veg, just reflects reality a bit better. Leaving things as is for now, pics when I can I smell Creme-Cookies , odor hit 3/3 Day 14 of flower Ending week , nothing visual has really changed so no pics till later. The feeding schedule seems to be doing everything I could want but will continue to up it slightly tomorrow. Eliminating the silicon, done what its going to do as the stretch has ended completely and plenty in the pot. Putting them under the MH until it slowed down worked. Light defol today just getting leaves off buds. Defoliating all the unproductive branches (loofy buds nothing firm) tomorrow to get that energy where it needs to go. Ok so its some kind of cookies but sweeter than I am used to so sticking with Cookies and Cream for my guess on FF7 FF5 is still puzzling, sweet fuel is all I can peg. And another week in the books 😜

And here we go into flowering week seven. The buds are looking impressive by now. I feel like they're starting to bulk up - hopefully, those internodal gaps fill in nicely. Temperature and humidity are stable. I aim for 25°C during the day, and at night, it drops to around 21.5–22°C. Humidity stays between 45–50%. I could probably lower it further, but that would make things too hot, so I trust my airflow and ventilation instead. On day 70, I noticed a couple of leaves showing early ‘autumn colors.’ I’m curious how much longer this will take. Plagron additives like Sugar Royale, Power Buds, and Green Sensation are said to accelerate ripening. DNA Genetics suggests 9–10 weeks of flowering, so it’s getting exciting. Amber trichomes are a must for this Kush diva! 😉 Some parts of the plant seem to be purpling! That’s interesting since nights aren’t particularly cold. Could it be phosphate-related? Light stress? Just the strain? The smell is changing more and more towards citrus - like a ‘sharp, earthy lemon.’ It almost reminds me of a wood polish! 😄 I'm gradually removing any drying leaves at the bottom, but other than that, there’s not much to do - just watering, keeping an eye on temp and humidity, and relaxing. Hello growers, another week by and some leafs just start yellowring but overhaul she already has a pretty nice and smooth smell and the buds are looking beautiful, also I stopped using nutrients and using only water with ph arround 6.3 - 6.5. DAY49 7 Weeks Buds are hard. Smell is extreme. Very limited amount of spidermites under some leaves. No reason to exterminate them, because next week I'll probably harvest the plants. The smell of the Triple G is fanastic, Big separated buds. The Cookies Gelato are more sativa style of buds than I'm use of them. There leaves are turning purple. The Liberty Haze has a lot of small leaves in the buds, and thet got amasing blinking white flowers. Probably this will be the plants I'll harvest the last, because they need some extra flowering time. The Wedding Gelato is creamy, lots of trichomes and is fast flowering. But some flowers got budrot. I'ts hard to get the humidity low because of the rainy and misty autumn outside.

Week 8 of Flowering, pistils are turning brown. Will check tricolms next week. Since I am doing hydro, flushing can commence the final week. *finally got my co2 meter to work so boosting co2 to 1000 ppm and increased light output but 20%. The rent increased 30% in humidity and raised 4 degrees F so manageable for sure. Happy growing BM 4TweentY
