July 27: starting the second week of force flowering by providing 10 h darkness in garage plus ‘2 bonus hours’ from the 730 nm far red light. The use of the far red light is like getting a 26 hour day. So 12 h dark plus 14 h sunlight. Anyway, she is stretching a bit and clearly starting to flower. Looks good. New growth is pretty yellow so did a foliar spray of Epsom salts to give her Mg and S. July 30: great conditions the last few days and she is growing great. Mostly just pHed water lately to avoid over-doing it on the nutes. Looks healthy and happy. Aug 2: watered with some molasses and about 1 tbsp per gallon of Epsom salts (MgSO4). Still doing 10 h in dark garage and using the 730 nm far red light to get an extra 2 h in dark mode.

Por el momento ha ido todo bien, he tenido unos problemas con algunas plagas depredadoras qué hay en el jardín, por lo cual he aplicado riegos foliares de aceite de neem + jabón potásico para alejar todas las plagas posibles. En cuanto a los riegos estoy regando con 2L: 1L agua ph 6.5 + 1L agua y nutrientes ph 6.7 día por medio. (No aplico fertilizantes en todos los riegos para no acumular sales, ya que he notado que al regar la tierra aun cuenta con fertilizantes por lo cual con el riego solo de agua, es como si se diluyeran las sales en el sustrato.)

Casey's Rollex OG is making progress. I did treat her 4 days ago with neem oil. I did again today after some defoliation and canopy maintenance. The spotting on the leaves appears to have stopped. Hopefully it stays stopped is the intent. Everything else is looking good, and hopefully any pest are exterminated after treatment of the grow room today. Everything is going smooth. Starting to see some stretching. I have removed a few leaves on the top to help get light deeper into the plants. I am going to start them on some maxibloom when they start popping pistils.

Lst is a little hard in this plant, because it has very shor internodes, but lets see how it will evolve The plant is beginning to show some preflowers

These were supposed to be a more finicky plant by 34 street seeds, as reported by them and other home growers. However, I found it to be fairly normal, was definitely a feeder, and could have probably used some more, I just found it easier to have to mix one feed for both growing had growing. No issues with pests or PM, great yields, big large colas, despite only topping once, and snapping one of those tops of f two of the plants! Anywho, 10/10 would recommend for the $50 pack of seeds *Bonus* I had the three plants tested for THC and CBD at my local grow shop, they tested at 25%, 26% and 27% ❤️ I will also be submitting a sample for the 2023 Grow Cup ran by 34 Street Seeds, along with my other grow, Zkittlez x fpog also by 34 street seeds. Still waiting for amber colors before I harvest watching daily. Watering with just Poland spring as needed and will will allow soil to dry up a day or two prior to harvesting. As usual I hope everyone nothing but the best and appreciate each one of you. Have a great day!!

Now she is smelly!

Another week has flown by! The girls are doing great, cruise control this week as I have just been monitoring RH and temps. Trying to keep them as low as possible, I’ve been getting as low as 74 during the day and 68 at night. I finally took a look a look at the trichomes with my jewellers loop, lots of cloudy, and a few amber around the leaves and top colas, but still lot’s of clear trichomes. I’ve ordered myself a wireless/usb digital microscope to assist with the process, and looks like it will be here just in time to determine harvest day. 😎🎄 I started by eliminating the nutrients at the beginning of the week. I typically allow for 3-4 pure water feeds before I harvest, and at the rate they have been drinking, this should be enough to get through the 7-12 days they have before harvest. I don’t flush, but rather “rinse” with normal water amounts, allowing the plant to use up the remaining nutrients in the soil. This also allows me to recover most of the soil from my grows and reuse ♻️ with other soil mix. There has been great debate and a great deal of bro science out there for many years, but the recent studies suggest there is no difference in end result when it comes to flushing or using nutrients right until the end, if a proper dry and cure is performed. This week has been such a gift! I have learned so much about proper care for a plant I had no idea how little I knew sitting down and observing these majestic trees produce such a potent flower has really humbled me. Premium cultivars strain has shown resilient and self sustaining easy to grow traits that it is hard to mess up. (Which I’ve done a few times lol) Notice the trichomes (I put the zoom lens on and got up in there so they could be better seen the bud itself is slathered in them ! This is going to be an amazing smoke! Also looking at the structure of the bud it’s self it has volume very full bodied bracts with pistils throughout It’s just an all-around beautiful thing to observe

I’m thinking of throwing out one of the phenos she’s seems to have a mutation. Might wait a week and she what she does, but Pheno 1 is looking good and I can’t wait to take some clones of her.
