Hello growers and tokers! 👋 👩‍🌾 🧑‍🌾.🔥💨 There has been a couple changes this week!! First there was a big defoliation done, I cleaned the bottom of the plant. All the growth that wouldn't amount to anything because the light doesn't penetrate that low. Also took off the biggest fan leaves to give more light penetration. Then finally switched to 12/12.. Just 36 hours after the defoliation she looked fuller than before. Leaves pointing up and out. By how she's doing I'm sure she'll stretch a good bit these next few weeks. Great reaction to the defoliation. I'm still watering every other day, After the defoliation I watered with only Enzymes 2ml/L to clean the roots a bit then started with the nutrientes again. I dropped the amount of grow nutrients from 3ml/L to 1ml/L and started adding bloom nutrientes 2ml/L for now. I'll slowly be upping the bloom nutrientes and after week 2 I'll no longer add grow nutrients. That's it for this week. Stay tuned to see how she flowers. Stay safe!

Everything is going well although bud development seems to be a little slow. Not sure if this is strain related or because I did heavy defoliation in week three of flower. I'm now feeding 4 litres per week and it seems to be taking that nicely.

Loving how these girls are growing Fastbuds mystery #1 finally catching up, and may possibly in the end being a better producer than the RQS plant, which is surprising to me because of how badly I stunted this plant. Got me curious how good this plant could’ve been

Week 8 of flower is in the books and this show is quickly coming to an end. I said last week we had about 7-10 days and I was spot on at the 10 day mark. I was only wrong about the order. The cheese is ready to chop before the rest and the gorilla cookies, cherry Bomb and lemon haze will follow in due course. The cheese is a beast and it’ll take a little time to get it all run through the bowl trimmer. At least the big one goes first. Her tallest colas have foxtailed like mar, despite the late supercrop. You can tell where the sweet spot for the light is at about 10” distance from the canopy. Any closer than that and the tails begin to show prominently. It’s a good example of just how close you can get to these fixtures with a little bit of prior experience. It’s been noted for the next run😎👍😎. The res. is on an h2o2 only flush for the remainder until the rest are ready to come down. Not a moment too soon either - the pollen chucking project has stalled out waiting for these girls to finish and now that we’ll have a little extra room, we can start running our cuts in the aerocloner🤟. Not long at all now folks. Thanks for tagging along through all this. Learned a bunch about this system and we’re back to hardware mode to make some serious improvements for the next run🤙😎. I love hardware mode😉. Background/Repetitive Nonsense The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was 🔥. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. Let’s just hope that she’s not a dud like the last bean. The new digs for this run are courtesy MarsHydro👊. Their 2x4 single grow tent, paired with a shiny new 240w QB courtesy ViparSpectra. These folks were kind enough to discuss a collaboration and as a result, here we are to test out the gear with an inaugural run of autos. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru. Holy moly. She's growing... like a weed. She's loving the nutrient schedule and environment (finally). I was having an issue maintaining proper humidity levels and after exhausting EVERY possibility with venting, fans and otherwise, I have moved my dehumidifier inside the tent and it's working wonders. I drain the water with a shop-vac as I do the same for my run-off. Things are going great so far, I hope to continue this forward progress in the coming weeks. Going to LST sometime this week, just not sure when. 6/13: Started minor LST phase to open spots to light. Fan leaves are gonna be huge. I also overwatered her... I'm a noob. 6/14: No watering for 24 hours. I removed my LST. She wasn't yet strong enough for the arc I put into her. Another noob mistake and add the overwatering to this, I just wanted to destress her. 6/15: Back to regular 1 liter per 24 hours, also added Armor Si to the nute schedule. 6/16: She's showing signs of getting back to normal. Added Diamond Nectar on this day. I also LST'd her back to position. 6/18: Back to normal. I trimmed 1 fan leaf under the canopy that wasn't going to get any light. 6/19: She's better and growing well. I'm going to try and keep this vegetation stage a little longer. Added a little more water today, just a tiny bit. I have 2 other plants that are a week behind and I want them caught up for the flip as close as possible. Pray for me.

We have passed the month and we are madly in love with all our autoflowering plants, we have two per strain, one worked with a mainlining adapted according to the characteristics of the plant and one that grows straight, we can't easily give up the main cola. For now we will show you those worked with the techniques that are more interesting to see and later planted earlier to make them finish more or less together with those that will grow straight and fast. We really like our Green Cure CBD F1 worked with the Main Lining. It has an average interodal distance which allowed me to bend the lateral branches properly and obtain a great shape. I really like it to see. So topping at the third internode, main lining, no pruning until the third internode and topping them again so we have multiplied the buds adequately. The application of the techniques is a delicate moment also for fertilization. Topping slows down the growth of the plant a bit and does not make it require all that Grow fertilizer that is normally recommended. So you have to go really slow and understand when to reduce the nitrogen. Better to prepare the soil with fertilizers to mix with the soil probably. The problem is sweeping now that it is going into flowering, the plant has shown the first fluff, declared the sex, and the fertilizer will soon be needed indeed. You have to swell. In any case everything is under control and I will demonstrate it to you during the flowering phase. Wait for the Uncle BreadandBuds and see what he does. Remember the cold temperature makes the girls absorb food much more slowly than in summer so be careful to give the right amount and to dry the plant in maximum 2 days or you risk imbalances. Hi Growmies Here we are on the last week possibly for these beautiful smelling Biscotti Girls. It has been a week of slowly adding weight to the mains for the most part but the #1 girl looks very close to finished already. She has a lot of browned pistils and her buds are rock solid too. Her lowers do still look fairly fresh but I will have to get her on the water inly to give her a flush in case. It is not uncommen to get a second pistil flush that boosts them again but they do look fairly close. Will be using the loupe to check the trichromes in the next day or so too. The other two ladies are happy to continue on amd will get their final full feed tomorrow too. They ate getting nice and sticky to touch now amd are smelling so pineapple sweet too but up real close you can definitely get the diesel whiff too. While there are a lot of bud sites over the grow , I am not overly impressed by any of tje mains sonfar and hope that the last push will get them adding some girth and weight with oil filled sacs to get that potency cooking. Bud sites are starting to form and I like how solid the stems are on this small stock. I'm expecting huge colas on this one so I'm keeping her grow under control and aiming for multiple sticky colas on this girl she smells amazing! This week all plants but the Sweet Tooth will be getting Massive nutrients from Green Planet which does wonders for getting those fat colas.

Here is how much PPFD is needed per second for each phase of cannabis growth to achieve the DLI of 40 moles of light per day. I picked up a Quantum PAR Meter, very happy!😁 PAR Meter will show me how much useful radiation between 4-700nm the plant is getting from any given direction. Seedling phase (18hr cycle): 200–300 μmol m-2 s-1 Vegetative phase (18hr cycle): 617 μmol m-2 s-1 Flowering phase (12hr cycle): 925 μmol m-2 s-1, (1500 μmol m-2 s-1 @1500ppm co2) (ballpark). Anything above 2000 PPM is harmful to both the grower and the crops. The tent is currently reaching 3-400umol ms 1s at soil level (42" inches from light) and 1100umol-1300umol @ 25" Inches. Week 4 - 01/22 to 01/28 2021 Pictures from Days 25 + 26 TRANSPLANTED! Might have waited too long but hopefully the transplant and LST stress might slow the plant down since i think it's already flipping to flower like the other @SweetSeeds Dark Devil Auto and the Purple Lemonade from @FastBuds. I think the Red Poison might have been the first one I noticed to flip but at least this one will be quick. More and more reasons to go back to a photoperiod grow after this for more control/really test out the new lights 🙌 Ended up more 50/50 ratio of Destiny Organic's Dark Matter Living Soil + ProMixHP since I had to make the Destiny last. Apparently they went out of business just after I decided it was my favourite/new soil :( Would rather stay away from Ocean Floor since I haven't had the best experiences with it (bugs/rust fungus etc) Feel free to drop some recommendations other than Fox Farms below 👍 The Red Poison Auto is going strong other wise, keeping the LST basic to see if I can still get the screen in the tent but it wouldn't be practical at this point. I raised the @ViparSpectraLED P1500 another eight inches after transplant and started basic LST. I really wanted to get these four under a ScrOG but if 3/4 are already flipping and the LSD is still runty I might have to wait it out again. Just like the Dark Devil in my other Sweet Seeds diary, there is a solid smell on the fingers after adjusting it/when the fan hit it just right 😍 I have the @MarsHydroLED TSL2000 set up and ready to go once the girls settle into their new pots. Have the new surge protector/heavy duty power cords/power tool grade timers as mentioned in Week 3. Some of it shown in the pictures. Just finished week 6 and I have to say she is looking so healthy and started to fill out lovely now 😀 gave her a couple of leaves trim as they was starting to overgrown the leaves below and wanted to give the plant much more light to help her grow to her potential. My earlier worry about being stunted with early progress issues has well and truly disappeared as you just continues to grow from strength to strength! Happy days happy growing !

They're really starting to bush out, I think I'm liking the topping of all tops on the whole plant 1 time. Makes it easy to train as well. We'll see how they compare in harvest amount to my LST long veg plants.
