Day 14 of flower and all 4 plants have stretched over a foot in the last week. Should start putting all of their energy into flowering now. Looking really good so far. Really, really good.

End of week 8 and the beginning of week 9. 1-2 weeks left before I chop these girls down. All my girls are loving the new light and so am I! Highly recommend. Only things to report on is, I’m still flushing, my buds are getting denser, and also they’re starting to turn purple! This is my first plant to actually turn purple and I grew a plant just before these two that’s were supposed to be purple, but never did change colors. Just moving branches around now with the tie wires to get an even spread under the light , heat mats are staying on to combat ambient temps of 5C , flushed them and will feed them another week of veg nutes .

Day 1 of week 4. Decided to do some LST on her. First time using dry amendments for Nutes and I must say I definitely recommend. Added them to the soil before I planted her and she’s shown no signs of deficiency.

There asking for more water now. I was feeding 250ml every 3rd day as seedlings now I will up it to 350ml every watering until they need more.

Upgraded to a Spider Farmer se5000 rail light. After just a few days I notice the difference. I highly recommend this light . I choose to keep the the driver outside the tent. The plants are all doing great with some small buds showing up.

Wow. The gruntz is insane. I left for work and when I got back, WTF! The gruntz was touching the light. It wasn’t burning but wow we had to fold over the tops and put a net in to hold her down. It’s been 3 weeks of flower and this girl is still reaching for the moon! Nasha genetics ( we take freebies for the name drop!) whatever you do, holy cow. They are starting to hair up now. I think the gruntz could’ve filled the tent by herself but there are 3 other plants in with her. I’m wandering if the widows will get enough light. We might have to raise the pots off the floor. And with spring coming (well it keeps snowing here but they say it’s coming) we are getting busy with the garden and life. Anyways we didn’t do much with the gruntz other than water. Now that she is getting some hair we will top dress some build a bloom and or some craft blend, just to help. Around a tablespoon per pot. This update was made Day 58 from seed. I just now realized I've had my day count offset by about 2-3 days. No biggie, at least it's been rectified. Anyways, onto the update. Beautiful deep purple tones have begun peeking throughout the plant. Similar to my lemon berry but with more of a magenta hue. Feedings have been rather frequent. 2-3 nute feedings last week. With XSD. For the rest of the grow, XSD will be omitted. Just molasses and Liquid Seaweed from here on out. Absolutely love the development of this photo period variety. I'll probably give this strain a rest for the next journal, however. Still need to spread my wings with Ethos' catalogue.

Wow, does this Gorilla Cookies smell great!! If you have been following me, then you know that the weather here in my area has been rough. BUT, according to @Fastbuds website, Gorilla Cookies is defined as being "Super-reliable and incredibly resistant. This cultivar inherited all the best qualities from her parents, making it a fool-proof strain even for beginner growers." And, my gorilla cookies has "Chunky dense buds" just like the website said it would. I used my Max-see magnifier to take some close up pictures of Miss Gorilla Cookies trichomes. She is getting closer and closer to a harvest. It rained a little this week so I only fed her a couple of times. I am currently feeding her @AdvanceNutrients Jungle Juice. I have only taken about 10 leaves off at the most during this grow. I just didn't need to open up any space for sunlight, so I left them all in contact. I also had a couple of caterpillars? that decided it was a good idea to visit my flowering plants. Little do they know we do not want them to visit! I included a picture of the caterpillar that visited. Any thoughts? Take a look at the picture that I circled on. I circled where the stem is bending down because of the bud weight. So after the modification for the ac unit we are only able to get the temps as low 90 degrees while during the day while the lights are on. And it’s falls to about 75-85 once the sun is down. It’s just what it is. The blue dream auto is taking it like a champ I’m highly impressed. The master kush has started rooting now that temps are under control somewhat and doing better as well. I have started doing lst on the blue dream and femmed it as well. I believe it should be getting ready to hit flower if it’s not already in the early stages for it. Both plants are now getting the same nutrient feed which is one tsp per gallon of each part of the nutrients. I know now I mite have to go led lights for summer then run my mh/hps in the winter.

Week 6 and we are reaching for the skies! LOL...it's a good thing but also bad...as she is starting to get light burn on the top main cola...my light is the highest it can be so I'm hoping that the Fox Farms Nutrient, Open Sesame, stops the stretch and focuses more on bud development. She will get fed on Friday! I absolutely love watching my Runtz grow, I want massive trees in my tent now...I used to go crazy with the LST during veg weeks 4-5 and introduced open sesame earlier because I never wanted tall plants before...my first grow had tons of light burn and my tent is tiny!!! Just a little 2 x 4......but now I am steering that way...I just think the tent looks more beautiful....tall lengthy trees as opposed to short stumpers which is what I have been growing from the start :P Went in with some more LST...at week 6 is usually when I try to go minimal on the manipulation but with how lanky she is...I think there's more room for some surprise colas to make an appearance! Also, I took the SCROG netting out...I want more experience with growing before I start messing with new growing techniques..if you made it this far into reading wow congrats!
