Soaked seeds in plain water for less than 24 hours and all had taproots emerging. Went into Rapid Rooter Cubes in a humidity dome. Less than 48 hours from first placing seeds in water we got 100% germination rate 💪

Taking it slow with the veg state to develop larger, stronger plants and it seems to be paying off. I've trimmed the lower leaves at least 3 times this week. I think I'm going to extend it out at least one more week before switching to flower state. Early in the week I switched from blue to purple to allow the branches to push through the screen more. Then mid-week blue, to rebuild the fan leaves, then back to purple once I rearranged everyone into their optimal positions for capturing light. I see a lot of potential for multiple colas. Each time I switched to purple, I raised the light up a few inches to help them stretch. As noted last week, lamp distance is being measured from top of net (not top of plant). I continue to add compost tea every Tuesday, which they love :-)

Day 106, Flower Day 50. Looked at Trichomes this morning. GSC still showing some glassy/milky look. Bubba is pretty milky colored. Still needs at least a week. Went on vacation last week. Had somebody else water. They closed the door, so not as good air circulation. Bubba showed powdery mildew. Not yet severe, so I took the plant outside, trimmed off some fan leaves that showed mildew. Then I sprayed the entire plant with a 25% milk solution (whole milk) and let it dry. Back in the tent. Cranked up the inline fans and added a small fan to the Bubba tent. Just need a couple more weeks.

Ginger Nut cookies & Aussie music video's 5th March 2020 Flowering Begins ....................................... My little creation is officially Flowering folks!! After stretching upwards about 30cm all tips are developing little Budlets. I started to see minor signs of Nitrogen deficiency from a coupleof bottom leaves that suddenly began to yellow. This is fairly normal as the plant would have needed as much (nitrogen) as it could get doing all that stretching. I needed to feed half strength grow nutes ( professors nutrients) @1ml/L three times during the last 7 days. Now that the stretch seems to have slowed right down I will start to add some Dr Greenthumbs Bud n Bloom mix ( aprox qtr of a cup). I’ll have to observe for another week before a decision can be made when to harvest. Being 90% sativa this is not unusual. Pistil hairs are about 75% brown (with new ones developing). Buds are bulking out, continuing to grow and swell, and trichomes are building. 11/27: harvest day. Well, i have chopped them all down. I trimmed all the bud and put it in seal bags in the freezer. No drying - fresh frozen. Sometime in the next few days i will turn it all into bubble hash. If i had gotten the buds that i wanted I would have dried and cured much of this. But as this is just a typical looking and smelling lemon strain, it all went in the freezer. If not for all of their expectations set by FastBuds, i would likely have loved at least one of the plants. The one labeled PL1 was a monster. It produced over 27oz of trimmed wet bud. The hat is more than the other 3 plants combined. With a total of 53 Oz of trimmed wet bud harvested and frozen. The one that i labeled PL4 was insanely frosty when compared to the other 3 phenos. I have clones of bother PL1 and PL4 that i may consider using for breeding projects where i want a strong lemon. The other two plants were mostly forgettable.

This ones really starting to swell. I'm blown away by the one in fox farm soil but the one in the coast of maine sadly is not as happy. I've been top dressing with worm castings to the deficient one. I'm excited by the frosty trichomes beginning to form on the larger healthier plant of the two. At this point I'd say it wasn't a different pheno but maybe a deficiency. The ladies are gonna finish strong. Check back next week to see just how fast she buds & remember its 4:20 somewhere!!!!

A good week this week 😁 She seems to be taking life better so i decided to snap the top 😱😂 Pinched and bent her over a bit to let the little ones see the light. Welcome to week 6 of the FastBuds LSD-25. I'm a little concerned that she's not turning purple. Other LSD-25 journals the color comes in a little later. Another concern is brown spots on the leaves which seems to be a calcium deficiency 😰. I've already tried to correct the issue by bumping up the CalMag to 4mL/gal and getting the ph down to 6.2. Some defoliation by removing leaves that are covering bud sites. The training on her is pretty good, kinda level canopy, and good light penetration. A longer time-lapse will be setup 👍 stay tuned for the next update. Happy holidays and happy growing!!! Note: add Dolomite lime to soil to provide Calcium and Magnesium 😉
