Hey there growmies from around the world, we are back! I hope everyone had a wonderful week, and everyone’s gardens are doing fantastic! It is week 11, let’s get into it! Back to the canopy we went this week as I had to get in there to maintain that shrubbery! it’s unfortunate, I didn’t have the same amount of time that I had last week to spend in the tent (at any one given time I mean) and I had to choose between defoliating and continuing to tie everything down to further expand the reach of that canopy. I chose the latter…. Hindsight being 20/20, I probably should have just defoliated first… In doing that , I would’ve improved the airflow, increased the visibility (for when it came time to tie stuff down) and would have just cleared it out a bit making it easier for me to tie things down and weave the plant through the net with LESS fear of damaging the plant. But alas, hopefully this is just something I’ll remember the next time I am faced with this decision….🤷‍♂️🏻 So despite all that I said above, I DID decide to tie everything down- it went well but felt a bit rushed. I got more done than I originally thought so that’s a plus! The rock candy cake is doing excellent though, it seems to be liking the future harvest nutrients, as do the fast buds (they really had some substantial growth this past week) The next few weeks will certainly be a test of patience, I kind of just have to let the plant do its thing while I wait for the canopy to fill out that net. She’s doing a beautiful job so far, but we still have a while yet (especially due to the fact that when I moved her into the 5x5, and had to scrog it all over again- she is no longer center so I still have a bit more to go on that one side) to tell you the truth, I’m probably more curious about what I’m going to do to keep it going on the short side.. we shall see.. sounds like next weeks problem. Something else I plan on doing is that much needed defoliation I was talking about- I might wait two more days just to make sure we are all good after yesterdays antics (the tie down) other than that,I think we will just have to see what’s in store for us this upcoming week, hopefully some insane growth, but I’ll take any progress haha just gotta keep moving forward! Either way, I am having an absolute blast and I hope to see my growmies here for week 12! Week 9 (Week 1 of flowering) has been a jaw-dropping experience in my Tropical Tangie Ninja Run. Our girl is absolutely killing it! Her luscious green foliage is a sight to behold, and my Lego Ninja buddies are always on point, making sure everything is in order. The excitement escalated as I spotted those little preflowers showing up towards the end of the week. I have a strong hunch that she's going to turn into a flowering monster during the first two weeks! <3 <3 <3 To support this explosive flowering growth, I made some savvy moves in my nutrient game. I decided to switch from my root booster to the fruit booster. Why, you ask? Well, my Tangie is transitioning her focus from root development to bud production. So, it's like shifting gears to give her exactly what she needs to create those magnificent flowers! But that's not all. I also added some P-booster to my nutrient mix. You might wonder why? It's because this little ninja booster is packed with phosphorus, the secret ingredient that stimulates robust flower formation. We want those buds to be big, dense, and super potent! <3 <3 With a canopy as lush as this, I'm already contemplating a potential defoliation around day 21 of flowering. It's like planning my ninja strategy in advance! But let's keep that for the next update hehe. As for her TDS numbers, they might not seem massive at 230, but remember, I'm using those amazing Aptus All-in-One Pellets mixed with the soil. Her main NPK is already packed in there, and these boosters are just giving her that extra ninja kick! With room temperatures at 28.9°C and a humidity level of 62%, the conditions are perfect for our Tangie to thrive. I can't contain my excitement for this epic ninja run! #1 still not flowering it’s been almost 3 weeks since the flip to 13/11. #3 is loaded with buds!! #4 is also loaded. #3 and #4 aren’t stretching a ton, and I love that they seem to be putting all of their energy into making buds. I’ve defoliated some to keep the budsites in the light.

Home stretch now. Going by the last time I grew this strain, theres about 2 or 3 weeks left till harvest. Buds are fattening up, absolutely sticky as anything and stink the place up too!

Cepa muy estable y lograda, muy buen trabajo por parte del equipo de Zambeza. Indica con floración rápida 18% cruzada con Chemdawg x Lemon Thai x Pakistaní Kush 25 gramos por planta, viendo que solo eran centrales 👌. Cepa 100% recomendable SOG, desde esqueje o incluso desde semilla.

Building the RDWC set up was quite the process. A couple minor leaks, but I was able to take care of them. I'm now 11/11 in rapid rooters so I won't suggest anything else. No pre germination. I prepared the rooters, put the seeds in, and 3 days later they came up. This is my 3rd run using the same batch of 50 rapid rooters. I freeze the extras and pull them out a day before use. Muy buenas! Les he rellenado la maceta con un poco de sustrato, van estirando muy bien. Mañana aplicare el segundo riego con fertilizantes en la etapa de floracion Lleva 15 dias a 12/12 horas

What a week for this girl! After seeing both of my Sweet Seed autos take a hit from my lack of watering with runoff, I decided to take preventative matters with this Gelato plant and flushed her clean with 8 gallons of plain pHed water, and then a final gallon of a light feeding mix. Since doing that 4 days ago, definitely have seen some further discolouration, but as far as I can tell, It's stopped spreading to the new growth, so I'm 'hoping' to be in the clear but you really never know. I got the soil pH up from 5.4 to 6.5, and the ppm down from 1100ish to just under 400 (which is typical ppm for a flushed plant). Going to keep a close eye, but damn do I feel like she went through some serious shock. Bud development has pretty much slowed down, so hoping she bounces back and start stacking, but I also don't know if this is from the shock of the flush, or the low temps I've been faced with this week. Anyway, definitely learned my lesson on this run! Organic growing here I come 😁

She's a very demanding plant. In addition to these listed nutrients I'm also using an organic mixture as well at full strength and she seemingly wants more lol. Very interesting plant indeed. Her buds are becoming dense and look more advanced than what usual week 4 flower looks like so she will most likely finish in maybe 7-8 weeks I assume. Very nice smell and resin production. Temperatures are very much different than usual here in the caribbean. Nights stay cool and day temps have soared for the month. Damn global warming!!!!!!!!!! On a positive note she's still doing well with no signs of heat stress and by next week I expect even more rapid production as she approaches the end of mid bloom. I've not had to trim any fan leaves they have all died on their own and I have just picked them off with tweezers apologies for the video I don't know what happened but I add smoked a doobie before 😂😵‍💫

HARVEST@DAY84!!! Took way longer than i expected to finish but it was worth it i was going actually going to give it a couple more days to wait for some more brown trichomes but she started to get a few nanna's so i cut her down. i could not tell how chunky the buds really were underneath all of the leaves. thiccness from the main colas all the way down and alot of frost. Smells heavenly. chemical and gassiness. Will absolutely be growing the rest of the seeds i have next time around. She was more sensitive to the light and i topped her a little early are my only complaints. i didnt have a big enough scale so couldnt weigh her wet. will post dried weight. its a nice yeild for me being my first grow. she smells dank Super happy!!!!

The CBD and SAD seem to be finishing a bit quicker than the other 2, they might be ready in a week or two. I will probably drop the EC next time I fill the tank. Some of the branches with heavier top buds were starting to hang and get too close to other buds, so I used some garden wire to fasten them to the tent poles, which can be seen in the video between the 13th and 14th. Pretty uneventful week otherwise.
