The Slurricane IX is a beast of a plant to grow, the growth is quick and quite bushy. I would advise to train these plants SCROG..or something.. the stretch is just crazy..im gona say prepare for a 200% + stretch. Thy will easily get out of of control if not managed well. Pest resistance is good, i did not have any bug problems, but i did have a small WPM issue, but it was very crowded in there. Sorted it out by defoliation and a treatment of hydrogen peroxide took care of the problem. Very thirsty plants, at there peak, 9 plants was drinking 110L a week. Very stong smelling plants. Extremely dense flowers covered in a sluricane of trichomes. Harvest of the plant is quite easy, not a very bushy cola..so its a easy trim. Overall a great genetic to grow and a beautiful plants in itself. @InHouseGenetics .. superb. Thank you guys so much for giving us the privilege to grow such amazing genetics. Keep up the great work. Week 5 of flower 9/6/24 After neglecting to check runoff EC, the reading was 3 and PH 4.7, it's crazy that the plant did not show any signs of damage besides one branch. After flushing the growing medium with RO water + FloraKleen + H2O2 (PH 6.5), the runoff PH was still to high. The problem persisted after watering with 50% dilution nutrient solution and still getting low PH readings and high EC. The solution was to put something underneath the fabric pot, to create a gap for the runoff water to drain freely from the bottom part. Before, the fabric pot was sitting on the plate and the runoff was draining from 2 little holes in the middle to the drain compartment. Right after creating the gap and watering, all the readings were corrected. Fortunately, all salt build up got washed away, and the plant showed no more problems. :) On day 26 days of flower, the nutrient schedule was changed to fit the fifth week of flower. Note to self: check PH and EC every 3 waterings.

She's well structured so far & I'm okay with that. We're in no rush, this isn't a rat race. I'm just letting her do her.

Did abit of chopping this week still abit to go, been looking at expanding this spot to try get few more plants down. Both plants looking healthy, the ny diesel is getting big now, as the cheese has got more closer node spacing. May do abit of lst this week coming as shouldn’t be long before pre flower. Update: Took less than 3 days for all 3 seeds to pop. They’re all looking good, standing tall. Couple shells stuck to cotyledon leaves. I’m just going to leave them there. In the past my OCD has wanted them off and I’ve F’d up the leaf. I’m going to leave them covered with the cups until tomorrow, hopefully true leaves will be starting then. - Drying for 3 days, the 2 airports-plants chopped and dried in the dehumidifier and the other 2 hanged upside down as they were. - Humidity -> 40-50% and temps -> 21-24C°.

Nice big stretch happened this week. Literally overnight my shorty plant jumped up to almost the height of the other two. I was so excited when I went out to find that but I let my rabbit out to hop around and she chewed a hole into my greenhouse and ate a shit ton of stuff off my plants. The video I posted on this week shows the extent of the damage but what really killed me was the shorty plant had just stretched and she fuckin ate 3 main branches off it and all the sides so now it’s a plant with 3 mains and little ass middle branches that have come up after I did some LST to open her up and try and make up for that loss. This week was good and it sucked. FML. I added Big Bud coco and carboload to the nute list this week so hopefully I start seeing some jump in bud production. Surprisingly I had no stunting from the rabbit eating the plants so stuff is still moving along nice for the branches that still stand. I did find some mite looking fuckers on these so I got the mighty wash out and blasted a couple rounds during the day and bought more so I can follow up but they had done no visible damage so I found them just by being active in my garden and paying close attention so go me for catching that shit before mites killed me off. Die Ernte ist gut, ich bin im großen und ganzen sehr zufrieden wie alles verlaufen ist. Man kann aus dieser Genetik einiges raus holen die Zentrale Koller ist schon Monster mäßig. Auch die unteren Blüten können sich sehen lassen schöne Feste Knollen.👌🏼 Ich freue mich auf das verkosten, sie riecht gäsig mit süßlichen Nuancen. Das Growen mit dieser Sorte hat mir sehr viel Spaß gemacht. Es gab keine großen Probleme, solange man sie nicht zu sehr stresst. Kommt sie mit jeder Gegebenheit zurecht. This was the second grow cycle of the Lemon Skunk genetics. I'm happier with the way the second run turned out compared to the first. My yield was higher and one of the phenotypes turned out some stellar top nugs. This grow took way longer than it should have and I'm to blame for some of it. I think I should have went straight to 5 gallon pots instead of hopping into the 3 gallon pots. This cost me at least 2 weeks of extra veg time, maybe more. This harvest took 21+ days to dry. That's about a week longer than last time. I've had to prepare my report early to enter the Diary of the Month. I did a smoke sesh yesterday morning on a nug that's only been curing for 3 days. I'd much rather wait a month to fire some up and let it cure properly. I didn't get many followers or comments on this grow until it was approaching the end. I got the feeling that most people don't like this strain. I'm not really fond on growing it again for various reasons. Mostly because of the amount of labor involved with the trimming portion of the harvest. Maybe I just got some bad phenotypes. I wasn't really impressed with the way the terpenes touch my palate even though it smells really loud either.

Will be more moisture in the air until a canopy covers my balls with the evaporation from the light. **lookey lookey, BOTH have come to life and are making way to the surface. Not long and they'll be in their new "cup". Last update on germination week as once they pop we start counting I suppose.

Flowering day 15 since time change to 12 / 12 h Hey guys :-) This week the ladies developed beautifully 👍. The stretch has started very strongly :-) . Watering was done twice this week with 1.2 l (see table above for nutrients). The heating mat does exactly what it is supposed to do, you can see that the ladies are doing perfectly again 😃. Fresh osmosis water was mixed with tap water in a 100 liter tank so that I would have enough stale water for the coming week 👍. Otherwise everything was cleaned and checked. During the check, I noticed that after spraying neem oil 3 times, there were still a few damn trips to see. I have ordered nematodes for leaf and substrate against tripse.
