Smell of terps is filing the air! Plant has gone in hard now with flowering! Plant is starting bulk up and produce some nice sized colas. Sitting under 11 hours of light, switches off at 5 in the morning and in time for some colder temps to help push trich production, good idea for winter times in the southern hemisphere as keeping lights on during the night and off during the day certainly helps combat stunted growth due to cold weather. Checkout my Instagram @smallbudz to see the Small budget grow setup for indoor use, low watt, low heat, low noise, step by step. 21/12/2019 - Fed her 1.5l of 6.4PH water with 0,5ml of each: Grow, Bloom and Max, and 1ml of each: Heaven, Alga-mic and Vera, noticed almost no run off, I use about 1/3 of the nutrient dosage on the chart, to achieve about 200/300PPM (500 scale). Did some light pruning also.

When I began the contest I had only grown Magic Melon once before (last winter), it grew in an 18 litre pot, became around 4 feet tall, and completely filled a 3'x3' tent. A friend of mine successfully grew a seed I gave them this summer in a container about 4 litres and the plant was considerably smaller. The fact that it can be successfully grown in less than 250mL is astonishing, I have buds from the one grown last winter that are bigger than the can I grew this one in. Harvested 91 days from sprout.

6/27/21 - I’m just feeding and letting the plants flower. So far so good! For a first time grow I think I did pretty well but it’s not over yet ;) 6/28/21 - They look great! I bumped up Cha Ching to run until final flush. Hopefully that will help make it a little more frosty. They are sticky to the touch and smell great. 6/29/21 - Some branches fell over from the weight of the bud. I had to tie them up to the light. See the bottom of the plant in the pic above. :) 6/30/21 - Most of the plants keep falling over. I have to tie them up with string to the light. Buds look great! 7/1/21 - More of the plant fell over but I tied everything up so it’ll be supported. I shouldn’t have to tie anymore branches. 7/2/21 - They look good! Lots of buds. More than I initially thought. Oh well, looks good! 7/3/21 - Day 42 of flower. Getting very close to start a flush. I’ll use sledgehammer a couple times then water from there on out. They look on track! I haven’t had any deficiencies or any discoloration. No pests either.

12/12/24 Short Facts: Watered: 1 x 2.4L, 1 x 2.5L, 1 x 2.5L — Total: 7.4L VPD @ 1.4 Light @ 70% (~700 to 950 PPFD) Stopped watering with fertilizers, only water, CalMag and Silicia Force --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I’ve stopped watering with fertilizer because I’m planning to harvest her in the coming days. You can already see that she’s slowly dying. I hope she’ll put all her remaining energy into her flowers in these final days. I’m going to dry her, but only because there’s a new method I want to try. You can now place the harvested buds into a special plastic bag immediately after harvest. These bags are designed to let water out while preserving the terpenes almost completely intact. One of the German grow shops selling these bags tested different samples in a lab, and the results seem to support their claims. If it works, great! If not and the harvest ends up molding, I don’t mind. 98% of the harvest will already have to be trashed due to the legal limit.

Week 3 update and all systems go for launch. We’re flipping to flower exactly 21 days from seed and so far, the mix looks to be impressive. Counting about 4 males (one that won’t make the cut), 2 indica leaning phenos and the rest are sativa leaning. Side branching has also been impressive so we should be able to pull some rootable cuts within the next week or two. If we got the sexes right (it is a little early to be certain), then the dutchy cabinet will be full up for bud testing👍. Next week will tell the tale🤟. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. Hello everyone Welcome here 🙂 Week n°12 ended with this brand new beauty limited edition , Brusski Russki 🌳 Cross between Bruce Banner × White Russian Breeder Original Sensible Seeds.. Fourth week at 12/12 🌷 She's starting to show his future gifts, hopefully super tasty and powerful.. For now it promises well 💪👌 She has also start makes her first trichomes and already smell lovely a little bit 😋 I must need to say the true about her and on his sister , also her in limited edition.. They surprising me , I wasn't expect this vigour.. Also because I don't see other growers growing this genetics , and so , I really don't know what she comes out at the end 🙌 But for now I'm really happy and I think she is happy too.. Definitely she is in healthy form , and the fast flowers and also resin production it's a good sign. She costantly pray her God ( name'sBlack-Dog ) because every time I looking her she has always the leafs up 🙏☀️😁 She's really devoted plant And also his sisters.. Girls are growing up nice! Went from the solos into the 1 gal pots. OG3 is looking a little droopy, maybe shocked from the transfer. Other two look to be on the money so far. Glad to be back with the photos, being able to control the timing to flower is a great feeling. When my flower tent is freed up in a week or so, I will be moving them over to their final home.

She has developed perfectly up to now 👍. It will be harvested in the next 10-14 days. Until then, she still has enough time to use up all her nutrients. The trichomes are already 60% milky, 30% clear and 10% amber. This week it was poured 3 times with 1.2 l each. As always, the tent was cleaned and everything checked. Have fun with the update.
