I am now flushing her with plain Brita filtered water PH'd with lime juice to lower her PH. I initially first flushed her with 42L of water and now I am flushing her once a day for 8 days and then I will put her in for darkness for 3 days and then I will harvest her and dry her for 9 days and then cure her for 28-48 days.

This week I inoculated the room leaves and plants with Neoseiulus cucumeris, I have had minor thrip problems all summer, Usually I use lady bugs to combat them but none have been available this year. I inoculated the plants by shaking the bottle full of Cucumeris and bran over the leaves. I will do this a few times before pre flowers show. Cucmeris are predatory mites that eat the thrip larvae. And are supposed to work for spider mites as well. I added the scrog nets to the room and began training the plants through them. I then flipped the lights over to 12 and Initiated pre flower. All vegetative growth was very vigorous. The goal of this grow is to do a preliminary test to begin to determine if Mycelium provides any additional benefits to Cannabis when allowed to colonize in super soil before being added to bottom layer of the pot. The Process: 1) 8 weeks Prior to Germination Super Soil is mixed (see super Sub cools super soil recipe further down the page) and added to spinning two part composter, water is added and the super soil mix is allowed to break down for a week. 2) 7 weeks Prior To germination 1L of colonized mycelium is added to each side of composter. Mycelium is now allowed to colonize the super soil. 3) After 8 weeks total the Mycelium has had enough time to colonize throughout the super soil mix and is ready to be added to the bottom 1/3rd of the pots. Welcome to my new diary! I'll be chronicling my experience growing Runtz photoperiod by Zamnesia. This is actually a grow I just finished, but I'm excited to share the journey with you now. As always I'll grow in a DWC system, this time in a 2x2 grow tent. To manage the environment, I'm using a Vents TT100 for air extraction and an Hailea air pump to keep the 20-liter DWC pot well-oxygenated. That 20-liter capacity should be enough to let the plant cruise for a few days without needing a refill, even when it's deep into the flowering stage. Lighting will be provided by a 150 watt lamp, which I'll run on an 18/6 schedule during veg and switch to 12/12 for flowering. As for nutrients, I'll be using the Plagron hydro line. To keep a really close eye on all the critical parameters like temperature, RH, CO2, PH, and PPFD, I'm relying on my Tent-X system by TrolMaster. It's a fantastic piece of kit that allows me to control and dim the light remotely, also includes a smoke detector. 🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱 GROW JOURNAL 🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱 🗓️ WEEK 1 (veg) 🔙 Kicking things off, I prepared all the materials. The clay pebbles received a 20-minute boil followed by a 24-hour soak in demineralized water adjusted to pH 5.8. I gave the air stones a 24-hour bath in a water and vinegar solution, rinsing them thoroughly afterward. The root riot cube also soaked for a few hours in water at pH 5.8. 🌱 With preparations complete, I placed the seed into the root-riot cube on day 1, nestled it in the net-pot, and surrounded it with clay pebbles. The light was set to an 18/6 cycle, positioned 50 cm away, and running at 50 watts. I hand-watered the seedling with approximately 5 ml of demineralized water directly onto the clay twice daily, while the DWC reservoir below held 20 liters of a light nutrient solution: EC 0.6 - pH 5.8. On day 4, the seedling emerged and was exposed to the grow light for the first time. Concluding a successful first week, by day 7, it had already pushed several roots out of the net pot and down into the nutrient solution.

22/1/2022: I made the mistake of added bio bizz grow 1ml earlier in the week which stressed some of the leaves by providing too much nitrogen ( the plants are in miracle grow soil) so quickly switched to bio heaven 2ml only. humidity is kept high lights are still at 24 and have been at 60% all week. the plants have developed large flat leaves which showcase its Indica genetics. as noted some yellowing of the first leaves. will switch gently to bloom at the end of next week leaving it with 3 weeks in veg and the rest in flower. Sea of green.

This girl is still going strong I’m trying to figure out if I could breed this plant or is it to late I’d be sad if I couldn’t she definitely is a small beauty would love to get more seeds I do have pollen stored

WEEK 2 - 31/7/2021 - 6/8/2021 1/8/2021 - 1L of water mixed with the following: Cal Mag - 2.5ml/gal - 0.7ml Micro - 2.25ml/gal - 0.6ml Gro - 2.25ml/gal - 0.6ml Bloom - 0.6ml/gal - 0.2ml Rapid start - 1ml/gal - 0.3ml pH - 6.07 EC - 1.03 mS.cm T - 26 The 4 seedlings are still showing signs of growth but the leaves are droopy and has malnutrition issue. I really hope they get back on track with the new nutrient regime. 2/8/2021 - 4 seedlings transplanted to larger 3 x 3 inch rockwool cubes to allow the seedlings to establish its roots first before transplanting to the RDWC system. 6/8/2021 - 2 plants are relatively normal looking but the other 2 looks deformed. I'm quite unhappy with the seed performance thus far. Poor germination rate, inconsistent genetics and weird phenotype. I wonder where Weedseedexpress sourced the Harlequin seeds from.

Seeing some tips beginning to burn so I went back down to 1 tsp of the girl's base nutes. Starting to see calyxs and pistils. Also alternate branching is appearing, also signalling that flowering has commenced.

I can’t say enough! Terpy piney gas, frosty, yield, beautiful bud structure! Just a perfect plant all around. 🏻💚

Update of the garden

Bulking quite well, she has a very strong haze smell as already mentioned she is handling everything like a champ, could not wished for a better plant :) From now on I will only give her PH 6.3 water without any additives. I believe its about 2 weeks until chop chop :)

It’s day 33’from seed. All of the plants are really healthy. The plants have a really great root system at this point… I am currently slowly moving the light intensity up to the veg area. Now that are in a groove they are about to explode… I’m hoping I can flip the plants to flower in 1 weeks but I’m thinking I will wait to weeks and let them get a little larger. The plants are just now starting to look visually different next weeks update I will be ababoe to go into the visual differences, they are just not that extreme yet to really talk to much about.
