Hoping by the end of this week to see a decent bit of vegative growth. I also had a boost in growth after sprouting but has slowed down decently. Plants leaves started drooping down and one edge of leaf turned a lighter green, leaves also look wrinkled, but don’t feel dry. I was advised it was nothing to be concerned of but I want other opinions. Also started a little LST today 2/15/24

The 7th week started. Based on the Breeder's description it is supposed to be the final week for The Gelato Cookie D'ohpe so it should be ready to harvest. It is my first grow but I can say it needs a minimum of 2 weeks to be ready. I think 10 weeks at least. I have checked another diary with the same strain and it took 10-12 weeks to be finished. I placed the Purple Punch 38 hours Darkness so from now I will give 14 hours darkness and 10 hours light schedule to start flowering. They are in the same tent so I take out in the morning to be in darkness, and put back at night. I did reset the timers. Water: 125 ml 2x daily each plant so altogether 250ml a day for 2 plants. I raise up every week with 50 ml a week per plant. Fertilization the same amount of water the same acacia honey around 2 big spoons and bat guano 1 teaspoon per 1-liter water and I fertilize it 3 times a week every second day on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, plus one-half day like on Saturday once. So from today (Thursday), I started forcing the feminized strain Purple Punch to flower also after 45 days from germination. This week not too much things to say. The Gelato Cookie D'ohpe stopped growing just added an extra 5 cm to its height. Hopefully it focuses on the bigger buds creation. Purple Punch grew an extra 2 cm. End of the week Purple Punch is 37 cm, Gelato Cookie D'ohpe is 70cm.

This girl sure is taking her time. I hope that's because of the high Sativa content 😍 Because of this the buds are starting to grow long and pointed, I'm going to try the backbuilding technique to see if I can get these to fatten up. I snipped half a dozen places and left the rest. Also I've noticed her leaves are very dark green and very very shiny, glossy. I cannot remember growing another plant with leaves like this!

Clones from my clone guy 1000w LED, 4G Autopots,, coco/perlite 65/35, Jacks RO + dry koolblom and humic acid , RO water, AC pro Controller and T8, 5x5 GG Tent with extension Garage grow SoCal Another hot week in the garage averaging 88°. The girls are starting to get fat and enter the ripening stage. Purples are strong. I got purple trichomes!! We’re running just under 1000ppm with no issues. We switched nutes and reservoir funk is gone. This weeks accomplishments: Switch from GH to Jacks RO Install separate reservoirs for black cherry gelato and purple push pops Clean all autopots and reservoir lines. Install separate lines for black cherry gelato This weeks issues: Spider mites. Found them in the outside grow and found a few leaves with them inside. Big time nightmare. Primarily on the gelatos inside. Doing manual scouting and removal every day. Long term issues It’s hot. High 80s low 90s all week. So the same - Cooling and VPD targets during heat waves Preventing the spread of mites and mold issues during high humidity conditions Managing girlfriend expectations through harvest. ACE Seeds Malawi x Northern Lights Auto 8th March 2020 Welcome Back it's now Day 32 since Germination and she is Moving into Full stretch and early flowering . Hopefully I got enough LST training done so that I can maximise my harvest potential. Ive got her back out in the sun today because the weather is ideal. I reckon a bit of natural sunlight and UV couldn't hurt her and could even be a very good thing actually. Whilst she's outdoors I'll feed her with some Fulvic , Humic and amino acids plus Mycorrhizae and one last mix of Grow Nutes. This should be enough to see her thru the stretch phase hopefully and then she'll start getting more Potassium and Phosphorus for Bud production. Day 15 since seed touched soil. All is going amazing. Yesterday topped them up a bit. Stems looks lanky, would expect stronger by now, but generally girls fly ! Off course i watered them straight after goodies were rubbed into top soil. Great White - 4 g sprinkled around for each plant BioSys same amount. Ecothrive Bio Blend - 200 grams added to each pot. Devil biggest, nicest and is happy camper at the moment. Lights are still on 40%, Mars as always has great products for growers. Think this week i will start some training. Day 19. Yesterday girl got 800 ml of 6.3 ph water. She is flying 4sure, thinking to train her tomorrow. Day 20. First LST. Watering straight after, plus Biobizz Leaf Coat shower. Approx 2.5 liters went in, first big saturation. Happy Growing !!!

Heya Bud, Hope everyone had a great week, my little plant sure did, there has been a lot of green growth after topping, she's turned into a small bush. I have been a bit under the weather, but I'm trying my best to keep up with LST and topping, I expect another week or two of veg, just to be safe. I don't know this strain at all and I really want to fill my tent, so far it reminds me of my very first plant which had long, dense colas, just like that plant, this one is starting out very short, dense with tight node spacing. Unlike my first plant though, this one is a photo-period and I have hold of the reins, I decided to not add organics to my system this week, trying to hunt down the source of dark gunk that collects around my roots, i think it might be bits of peat from the starter plug, it rinses off easily. My webcam froze a few times and I lost some footage, but you can still see the growth! I have topped her a total of 4 times this week, the goal is an even canopy and I cant allow one branch to take over to much at this stage. Trellis in next week? maybe? who knows, definitely a skirt clean-up in the future, I like it when my ladies can breathe down there. Thanks for stopping by, stay safe and keep growing.

It was finally time to harvest her, what good times we had with her. Amazed with how beautiful this plant is, how easy to manage and train and how rewarding Orange Hill Special is. So we said our thanks and goodbye, thanked her for all the joy she gave while growing her. I realize more and more how I love growing them even more than the end-product. It takes my mind of all going on for a while, in my miniature jungle world in the attic. Im sure all of you just sometimes sit there and watch them, in wonder, dreaming away with a good buzz on, watching them wave in the wind of the fans. So with a heavy hart I apologize, play them their last music, sit with them and feel them and smell them, watch the glistening of the cristals. In the end we had 209 gram dried Orange Hill Special, I will know the total of the grow, in a few days, since the final big whopper still has to dry: my XtraKush, be sure to check the harvest of that one *in couple of days) and see a one-dollar seed outperform two 10 dollar seeds. These gals are still recovering from getting chopped and pulled down. Almost sounds like bdsm. But the lower branches are starting to come in. They are beginning to get real green and possibly show lockout. Not a fan of the tiny ass pots and coco loco soil. Day 26: I snapped a branched/topped stem on one of them. :/ had to trim the wilting leaves off that side and hope it heals back

Strawberry Cake Auto has grown good. I battled with ph issues here, and there during the grow. She is really frosty, and has a strong Strawberry Aroma. I will post a harvest video if it allows me.
