This week we started to train our branches and setup our drip system. On Friday morning we found mushrooms in the soil of both plants. Started the ventilation system and kept it running all day and night from now on until harvest. I gave the Gnomes names as well this week. Enjoy the video.

10/15 This week saw a few snags. Both gorilla zkittlez girls are showing what looks like a Mg def i.e yellowing between veins and green veins themselves. This isn't the first time they've exhibited these symptoms. Currently the heaviest affected leaves are the lowest fan leaves farthest from the light. Aiming to keep it that way. I think it's pH swinging too low. I need to pay more attention to my feeds but sometimes I don't have the time to pH my water as properly as I should. The reason I say it's that and not a deficiency is because they are also showing signs of over feed (yellow leaf tips) only a one half-strength feed did this. There must be plenty of food left in the pot. I'm thinking the flip is gonna come at the end of the week. I'll clean up some lower foliage tomorrow or Sunday and let them grow the rest of the week. 10 weeks seems like a nice round number to me. 2.17.2024: End of week 3. Plant is heathy and doing well. Pistils are showing and def in the preflower stage. Would wager there will be noticeable bud development at the end of this week. Still no nutes given although i would have to imagine its getting to be that time. No defoliation yet, only slight LST to the bottom branches. 2.18.2024: Start of week four from seed. Holding course. 2.19.2024: Day 31 from seed. Plant is drinking more. Gave 64oz at 6.4ph. Run off ppm was 1450 at 6.6ph. Essentially 4 full weeks from seed before i need to start feeding. Next watering will contain nutrients. 2.20.2024: Plant is doing its thing. Firmly in the preflower/early flower stage. Growing 1/2 to 1 inch a day it seems like. Still can't bring myself to do any defoliation. 2.21.2024: Day 33 from seed, 29 from sprout. Picked up the pot this morning and it was very lite so i gave it another 64oz at 6.3ph. No run off this time which tells me they are starting to need more water or i need to up the frequency. Still no nutes in 33 days! The branches of the top 2 large fan leaves this morning were sagging a bit with a touch of purple on the stems. Chalking that up to water but will monitor as we progress. 2.22.2024: Besides white tips on top growth, steady as she goes. I'll post a pic of the white tips. No idea how to solve. Plant is totally in flower but since we're almost at the end of week 5 from seed, i'll keep the diary in "flower." 14.5 inches from soil to top. Would love to see these get to 24 inches by the end. 2.23.2024: Upped water to 96oz at 6.4ph. About 2 cups of run off at 6.4ph and 1500ppm. Original soil still has nutes to offer at day 35 from seed.

Strong germination. LSD 25 was the first to pop out. Zkittles was the 4th. 100% germination. Temps were 80-82f and humidity 70-80%. Looking forward to trying out the lsd 25 in particular. This is my second time growing both and lsd 25 was actually the very first plant I ever grew. Stay tuned folks!

when flushing i accidentally ripped a little bud of one side stem. i kept and dried it about 4 days... it smells like cookies and already has some strong medical effects. i am pretty surprised, how well this one turned out. now i can't wait to try the clean, flushed, cured flowers 💚

Day 44 this Girl Scout Cookies auto had its light intensity increased! I placed a 9" tall pale under the pot, to get the plant closer to the light! This plant is now 24" away from the SF4000(both drivers dimmed down 25% to 333 total watts). Day 47 - Light defoliation Day 49 - Flowers coming in strong!

De momento todo va bien, he añadido un sistema de co2 casero, no se si hará algo por que no tengo medidor, le he echado 500 gramos de azúcar disuelto en agua templada, media pastilla de levadura de unos 12 gramos... This is what's going down in wackyland... 11/11/21 put critical purple #2 in 48hrs darkness 11/13/21 Chopped critical purple #2 wet weight 158 grams and placed pineapple auto #2 in 48 hours darkness 11/15/21 Chopped pineapple auto #2 wet weight 465 grams So with these 2 plants and my 2 from first grow I have 4 plants drying right now for a total wet weight of 25oz's!!! With two monster plants still to harvest! Critical purple #1- was my slowest grower but will be my shining critical purple as it is huge compared to critical purple #2! Plants that are too far from an adequate light source will respond by accelerating stem growth in order to get closer to the lamp themselves. Especially when there are many other plants. A lack of lighting can easily cause overcrowding in a growing chamber, reducing the steady progression of your crop and the distance ratio between your bulbs and your plants. To address this problem, be sure to provide enough light to your plants to prevent stem growth. At the same time, you should not position your lights too close to your plants either since this would also result in an over-stretching of the stems and in some cases, the loss of your crop. In addition to the distance between the light source and the plant, the type of light you will use also affects the size of the stretching of your crop. The orange and red lights encourage stretching and result in thinner, larger stems. And conversely, blue light stimulates a growth of thicker stems and a smaller size. When a species is ready to enter the vegetative phase and undergo its most drastic stretching period, metal halide lamps can be used to deter far too long stems. THE HEAT Heat is another essential element that can determine the stretch size of your plants during vegetation. Temperatures above 27 degrees push the stems to lengthen more and more and will propel the potential of sativas to push as high as possible. Heat lamps that are positioned too close to plants create an intolerable environment that will grow large, soft plants that will potentially wobble until they fall and lose flowers in its fall. OTHER CAUSES OF STRETCHING There are multiple variables that can lead to the stretching of plants beyond what could normally be expected of the plant. Environmental stressors resulting from transplantation (when a plant passes from one pot to another) can cause the plant to return to shock. This will eventually trigger a reaction causing a stretch. Cannabis plants that are not grown in decent conditions or do not receive enough nutrients will respond in a variety of ways and this includes stretching. Crops that are not spaced far enough apart are likely to stretch to sting the light to other plants. Due to extreme proximity, the plants will fight among themselves to reach the light, forcing them to expand as much as possible throughout the crop. HOW TO CONTROL STRETCHING DURING FLOWERING Stretching during flowering, you guessed it, takes place when you move your plants from the vegetation stage to the flowering stage. This is a completely normal reaction, as your plants are preparing to bear the weight of their heads. Stretching of a plant at the beginning of flowering varies widely; some plants can double in height while others grow only a few centimetres. There are, however, two main variables that can give you at least an idea of how your plants are stretching during flowering, and how much. Here are these two variables: Variety: Genetics has the greatest impact on the size of your plant. In general, sativa varieties stretch more than indicas and tend to develop long, slender stems. Light: Some lights, such as HPS, are more likely to encourage stretching. In addition, great distances between your canopy and your lights will cause the plants to stretch as they try to get closer to the light source. Stretching during flowering usually lasts the first two weeks of the phase. To minimize stretching, keep your lights between 10 (for CFL) and 30 centimetres (for HID) of your canopy. Finally, choose indica varieties if you have a smaller growing space. HOW TO AVOID STRETCHING In many cases, you can expect your cannabis plants to stretch during the flowering phase. Keeping that in mind helps to make a plan in case your species ends up growing much more than you could have imagined. If the information is available, get information on the standard size of your species and compare it to the size of your growing space taking into account the necessary distances between the bulbs and the plants. TRAFFIC While outdoor crop operations benefit from natural air to naturally limit stretching, indoor crops must assume the maintenance of air circulation within a confined space. Basic ventilation is enough to help the cannabis stems strengthen and become thicker rather than too high. In this way, the plants continue to grow vigorously without reaching heights and at the same time, your tolerance ceiling. MANUAL INTERVENTION For growers who want to get their hands dirty, there are physical procedures that can be done to reduce stretching. Similar to the natural effect that the wind has on cannabis plants, manually bending the leaves and stems will cause tiny cracks in the plant's tissues that will cause the plant to focus on regenerating its wounds instead of its vertical growth. THE TOPPING Topping is a form of manual intervention on cannabis to influence its performance, shape or size. In essence, topping is a process in which a new node is cut, growing from the plant to reduce its size and create a "v"-shaped notch that will eventually form two heads. Topping may be an effective measure to combat stretching, but it is important not to do so when the flowering phase begins. In most cases, an abnormal stretch of cannabis plants will not completely destroy your crop. In fact, stretching can indeed help increase your performance. For growers with a growing operation large enough to contain tall plants, stretching can increase the total yield of a species with more vertical space for head formation. In both cases, stretching can easily be planned in advance and there are multiple solutions to help you with this problem which is all too common. May the force be with you 💪

Post Flush. Harvest day

Double fucking grape completely impressed with this outcome leaving tomorrow to head outta state visit family. so I'll miss about 4 days. No worries. When I return just keep flushing down till harvest. She got about 2 more weeks or so cant wait to chop her :) smells so fucking good a super lemony diesel smell for sure. Outcome guestment dry weight around 5 zips and half its remind me of my sweet and sour phenotype

Plants are thriving, starting to see more and more buds. Trying to kep the humidity in the 60s seems to be the sweet spot. Have really takes down my base as have increased bloom nutrients.

In the middle of the 5 week most of them show their sativa characters with long branches, now in the 6 week they are completely start flowering, more photos soon Today 14/05/2021 I will change the lamp bulb to a specific one for flowering (always 400w) and will experience the CalMag for the first time in 4 years, all I have learned was self taught and I have never used this product...in my opinion it was a big mistake, hope to have a positive result 🌋🏔️🌋🏔️💚💚💚💚

My medium starts to gather salt because of too much nutrients and it affects the plant, i washed it the last two waterings and I hope it’ll get better :)

Humidity is always under control at 45% now. Tomorrow I will clean up and raise the 8cm lamps to favor the light intensity for all the girls.
