After several methods of much appreciated advice I chose to:- 1. Cut off all the s**te 2. Let fully dry out. 3. Water only. 4. Lowered light. I had noticed a faint mark on inside of plant pot of which I had a previous grow (from clones, I only supplied the room) so topped soil up to that mark also. Quite happy with results

These XtraKush are also finally starting to grow. It took them a while but they doubled in a week. Still a little bit pale compared to the other two strains. With a new top layer of first worm castings and then neutral organic cocopeat to combat the gnat problem and we seem to have fixed most problems. Temps are going down at night, I'm trying to fix this by keeping it warmer in the attic where the grow is. In the coming week, I'm going to train/manifold them, they are getting a bit big. During week 9 the twelve AK-47 plants continue to thrive. All of them have a healthy green color and grow more and more flowers from top to bottom. The plants start to form HUGE colas and I am astounded by the speed of the new flower development. The trichome production is in full swing and the pants get stickier every day. I still feed them following the mills nutrient schedule and they seem to have all they could wish for. The SANlight Q5W-Gen.2 LED lamps are dimmed to 100% (=3 green lights on dimer ON) without the SUNRISE-FADE (=orange light on dimmer OFF) and are at a distance of 50 cm from the top of the plants. This ensures that the whole canopy gets the maximum of light. Very informing were the recommendations from SANlight on their u-tube channel, see here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCVhLo4Yv8QqfbaNSY6ROeWQ The aroma of the plants is getting stronger now, they have a heavy and mildly sweet smell (reminiscent of sandalwood), which is typical for the AK-47 from Serious Seeds. I cant wait till its finished and I get to try my medicine...😄

Hi Growmies, As the Epic Buzz family embarks upon week 14, a delicate ballet of color transformation pirouettes through the canopy. We are privileged to witness an entrancing fade, as the leaves segue into a tapestry of autumnal hues, signaling maturity and readiness. This aesthetic evolution is both a testament to genetic prowess and our vigilant care. Epic Buzz #1: Towering with pride, #1 now exhibits a more seasoned character. Its colas, drenched in trichomes, are towers of potential, each a beacon of quality and potency. The plant's olfactory signature is potent; opening the tent unleashes a pungent fragrance so profound it dances through the air, reaching beyond the garden's confines. Epic Buzz #2: A spectacle of resinous glory, #2 flaunts a frost-like coating that dazzles under the lights. Its buds, thick and lush, are a grower's dream, crafted by time and nature. The thick aroma that #2 exudes is nothing short of bewitching, wrapping the senses in an embrace that lingers. Epic Buzz #3: With a verdant vibrance, #3 stands as a testament to the delicate interplay of nurture and nature. The fading of its foliage, from deep green to subtle amber and purple, speaks to the nearing end of a cycle. Each bud is a dense constellation of trichomes, forecasting a harvest rich in flavor and effect. The environment within the tent is fine-tuned to near perfection, a balanced biosphere where each breath of air and beam of light is calibrated for cultivation excellence. The attentive dance of airflow from the fans, the precise hydration, and nutrient delivery—all converge to sustain this thriving microcosm. As week 14 folds into the annals of this grow, we stand on the precipice of harvest, basking in the culmination of our Epic Buzz saga. The impending harvest is not just a collection of buds but a bouquet of experiences, a narrative of growth and a testament to the gardener's craft. With hearts full and scissors ready, we prepare to transition from guardians of growth to shepherds of harvest. Stay Lifted, Salokin

Hello with this week we are already up to date with the follow-up since I was late in time. There is a remarkable resin production in this genetics that we liked a lot for its smell and structure of plants. We have created a video for each of the 14 floors of the follow-up, there are several very striking that are "pre-selected" to keep in the future, the smell you get to feel is very flowery and sweet, if you have any questions do not hesitate to Ask greetings.

The girls have basically exploded this week! They were drinking a ton and have responded really well to the steady increase in nutrients. With the room being basically self sustaining, it’s been a lot less work. Yesterday was the second round of defoliation and because this is my first time getting this far, I decided to be pretty moderate. There’s a few plants I took quite a bit off as an experiment and they seem to be doing great! The guy at my local hyrdo store recommended GH Floralicious Plus for flavor and smell, so I decided to try it out and this is some pretty potent stuff. After their first feeding of the Floralicious they are smelling delicious! The one plant furthest into flower is starting to show some fade in the lower leaves, she will certainly be done before the rest. She has a very sweet and sour aroma, especially if she gets rustled around a little bit. I’m stoked for the rest of flower and seeing their progress. Also I haven’t seen a fungus gnat in weeks so those yellow sticky traps are a must.

October is ending and her days are numbered. I can’t tell if it’s a potassium deficiency or just the fade so I gave one final tea. I’m loving the purple hues on this particular phenotype. Pests have reduced drastically when u spray off the plant with plain water in the early morning sun at least once a week. Chopped on September 30th.This has been a great run and I can’t wait to grow this cultivar again.

The buds are becoming every day bigger and hairy and some trichomes starting to develop quite nice. The Smell is not so strong at the moment perfectly manageable by the carbon filter. I'm gonna flush with 20 l at 1.2 EC and ph 6.6 and letting her dry for 5 days and then ill give her a boost of 1.8 EC so that lots of oxygen goes to the roots.

Most ladies are showing signs of flowering so today I will start counting the weeks. Here u can also see my mutant/special ladies. They germinated a bit different from the others. Day 3 of flower is showing some major progress‼️🙌🏽 I did NOT top any of these mutated plants. I only removed some very ugly growing leaves. So everything u see on them is done by mother nature.

So harvest time finally. Only 2 plants at the end but still I am happy with the result. After cutting them I placed them for 4 days inside the dark tent. I struggle a bit with the humidity as the air was really dry. So now its time for curring. I have placed the bud inside jars. Lets wait for a few weeks to have a first try ! See you for the smoke review.

7/19 Rained all last night. Weather report says it will be rainy for several days. I "suited up" did some slight defoliation and fed two gallons to the garden. Still need to apply BT and get inside and prune with clippers. I'm hesitant due to this huge rash but I need to find a way to do this. Plants look good just need to be cleaned up. 7/20 No water as it's been pretty rainy. Thunderstorms tonight and rain tomorrow. I'll have to wait to apply either Spinosid or BT (as a preventative). I took down the tarps on the back. The wind isn't bad. Usually it's like a wind tunnel but I think this was the right decision. They are still attached at the bottom so the cam go back up quick if high winds come. Considering top dressing with cow manure. It's what I have on hand. I also need to find time to defoliate inside the plants. I'll have to do it when it's wet I guess to avoid the moths. I saw nests at my girlfriend's house on a bunch of apple trees so maybe I got this rash there. I hope so. 7/21 I watered despite some of the soil being damp. It MIGHT rain today but even if it does it wouldn't REALLY give my plants the water they are used to. I also cut some branches inside the plants. I have a lot more to do though. I found a brown-tail moth caterpillar crawling on the soil of one of those buckets outside my cage. Leaving his little poisonous hairs behind. I killed it with fire. I'll update after I spray and/or prune. Humidity is 98% today 70 degrees at 9am. "I'm going to need a bigger boat." 7/22 I put the tarps back up after finding the tall unsupported plant looked all blown over. I removed it from the cage. It's a 30 gallon tote so it opened up my area a little more. I watered this morning as it's supposed to be a nice sunny hot day. Later I plan to LST that seedling that I just left in the 30 gallon tote and kinda neglected. At least I didn't show it the love I had the clones. It's in reveg as well (the only one) and I'm questioning whether it might have a better home elsewhere. I'll check it out when I go for my evening inspection. Looks like possible thunderstorms tonight so I don't know if spraying is feasible. Thank you to all who have been following and helping me on this journey. Much cooler than it has been 65 degrees at 10:30am. 7/23 Watered this morning. I also did some defoliation and pruned lower limbs. I need a night without rain so I can continue with my IPM. I see pillar damage so it will probably be BT that I use. I weed Wacked around the cage this morning and was planning to feed but I ran out of time. The girls will have to wait until tomorrow to eat. The garden looks very healthy as a whole. Slight issues here and there but nothing an outdoor grower wouldn't expect. It's been a great year for growing cannabis thus far! I'll do another video once I get the cage weed Wacked. 7/24 Watered slightly before I Fed two gallons to the garden. Still have leaves turning yellow and falling off but I think its normal. At least the same thing happened the last two years right around this time. Plants have EXPLODED in growth and look great. The stretch is real. I took a minute video that might or might not upload. Took a few pictures too. Internet is pretty slow so I'll probably have to upload pics tomm. Reached the 80s today. Nice and sunny. Oh and walking down to the garden is like getting punched in the face by a skunk lol. The smell is incredible. 7/25 No water as it is supposed to rain today and they drank pretty good yesterday. Still need to defoliate a bit. A few of the seedlings are reveging. That's ok though. I hate seeing leaves die but looking at my previous diary (and the paper one before that) it seems to happen the same time of year right when the stretch starts. For the most part the garden is in preflower so I may start the next week as flower. I also STILL need to spray preventative. I don't really have a problem (besides slight pm and a few random critters but hey it's outdoors) but I need to keep up with the IPM. Im super happy with progress this far.
