Quebec Blast is growing good. I am doing a solution change about every 4 days. Which is not bad since it is only a gallon switch, and I do all 4 plants in this grow at once. Soon as my ph bottoms out I know it is time. That means plant is feeding water vs water is feeding plant. Another token of experience I have learned. This week was very stressful, I left my girls alone because I had holidays of 11 days, got a drip system twice a day due to the heat of 37º

Still growing! She started showing some hunger signs....increasing her ppm to about 1100-1200 now. Her top half seems to be about a week ahead of her bottom. I think I'm going to have to learn how to harvest in stages this time. Her lower half is just soooo far away from the light. She slowed down to only growing a half inch a day now....then....She FINALLY stopped growing (i think) Topped out at 44"! At least I hope, I have no more room LOL. I had the light as high as I could get it...then I took it off the hooks and tied it to the top tent bars. and got it a bit higher LOL She's only 2 to 3 inches away from the light now so fingers crossed she stopped growing. Still trucking along. I had my light turned up a bit high for the first week, I turned them down a few days ago and all the plants seemed to enjoy it. Nothing else to report really.

These girls have all finally got into their 15L Auto pots, right now I am just waiting to get the roots accustom to the pots before I rig up the system, really excited to try them out . Goal for this week : 1) make sure I expose as many flower sites as possible. 2) get the canopy opened up for maximum airflow , I will do this through Low stress training. As you can start to see I'm using zip ties to put anything above the first ring on my tomato cage. Anything that is unable to connect to the first ring of the tomato cage will be left until flower and then when it stretches I will put them on the second ring of the tomato cage. This week has been awesome. Reservoir has been lasting is pretty well these 3weeks. I filled it with 10gals and have not had to top it up. Dropped the trellis net on the girls to get her to open up more, I will be adding 1-2 more layers of trellis just in case when we flower we make sure to really spread them out. I’m really loving this Autopot 10gals has really gone a long way I just make sure to check the ph and we are good. Pretty good week, no problems. Added a dehumidifier yesterday (Saturday). And also bought a new light. The light should arrive on Tuesday. Looking forward to that because then I’ll be able to spread them out further so they’ll all have as much room to grow as they need. I believe they’ve started flowering, that happened like day 24 when I first noticed the white hairs coming out of the bud sites. They really took off growing mid way through the week. Like twice the growth as the prior week. I haven’t been defoliating per se, I have been tucking & tying leaves down. Many of the secondary flowering nodes have actually surpassed the main cola’s of my plants height wise. Those that did I tied slightly back down. Really wish I could cut a few branches off them without stressing them out. Oh well. Such is the bane of autoflower growing. The new light I bought is a Colofrog 2021 CF 2400 LED w/Samsung LM301H Osram Diodes. From what I gathered online, it’s a better light than the Mars hydro tsw 2000 I currently own. I’ve got my ts 1000 in the tent currently just to get through until the new light comes Tuesday.

Girls are doing well with the LST. Kosher cake was topped last week and now has what looks like 8 heads. 3rd of June have given the girls living soil veg.

Okay so I came up with this incredible method of training that I call "root lining".I figured this out years ago in outdoor season when a deer bulldozed through my med crop and knocked a sweet lady over, that started it all. The plant was completely parallel to the ground with roots growing out of the nodes where contact was made with the ground at the stock. Long story short she ended up being a 14 footer with 6 foot whale dicks! That gave me this little idea that's been non stop producing top quality fat resinous buds. This method increases nutrient uptake and makes a huge difference in quality and size. I essentially main line, really low to the ground, until the stock makes full contact with the ground. I then gently rub the downside of the stock with the back of a butter knife to speed things up and break down the chlorophyll layer. Then I add remo roots gel (see all videos). I then add a sprinkle of coco on top just to barely cover the stock (dont add to thick of a layer as this might "choke" and rot the stock) and mist that spot 2-3 times a day. 3 days later and boom! She'll be pumping out roots and go into full beast mode. Give it a try and you'll never go back!
