Good progress!

Day 95 / FL day 15, Gave both plants a heavy defoliation to allow light into all bud sites. I think I'm pushing my luck with the amount of stress I've been giving these plants. But I also think they can take it. Only time will tell. Day 98 / FL day 18, Plants have recovered well after heavy defoliation. Lots of new leaf growth. Hopefully this will help to increase nug size. Day 101 / FL day 21, Topped dressed plants with a 3/4 inch layer of living soil for a little bit of extra nutrients. Waiting until week 5 of flower to add another round of Gaia Green dry amendments.

Day 15 - The new week meant a change of water, nutrients and an adjustment of lights. Chong is looking like a short, but sturdy little seedling with broad fan leaves and big roots. Max is 10cm vs. Chong at 7cm and her leaves are perky and the stem is thick. They both look good for their own individual reasons. Looking at the roots specifically, Chong seems to be facing similar problems as Cheech in the Cookies Gelato grow - the aeration in the bucket appears to have “dead zones” because of the colour the roots and the manner in which they are sticking together. I’ve adjusted the air stone to be more central in the bucket and cleaned the air tubes because the nutrients stick on the tubes. Other than that, I’ve controlled the PH back down to 6.0 after the addition of the nutrients using the Milwaukee PH controller and decided not to adjust the height of the lights because there was only about 2cm growth this week. Also added the first wire to give Chong a bit of a better bend in her stem, gently starting off the process of LST. Day 20 and the ladies are getting closer to topping. Both are showing clear third nodes with the fourth node opening up. I am sure we will be topping during this next week of veg.

KINDA DISPPOINTING THIS TIME. REALLY TOUGH TO GROW OUTDOORS. JUST SO MANY VARIABLES NOT UNDER MY CONTROL. ALL THE GALS WERE GROWING AT DIFFERENT PACE. ALSO I USED A DIFFERENT SOIL THIS TIME. SO THAT COULD HAVE EFFECT THE GROW. I SHOULD REALLY JUST GROW AUTOS INDOORS WHICH IS WHAT IM USED TO. I TEND TO VEG PHOTOS OUTDOORS THEN BRING INSIDE TO FLOWER. SAVE MORE ENERGY. BUT THE PROBLEM IS JUST BRING PEST INSIDE THE TENT. ALWAYS SOMETHING TO BATTLE. MORE I DO THE MORE I LEARN. STILL FAR FROM FINISH. NOT A GOOD HARVEST THIS TIME. I'LL SAVE THE REST AUTOS INDOORS NEXT TIME.

This jack orange is such a beautiful plant for real, the flowers are going to be absolutely awesome, she's producing some trichomes so far just like the rest of the plants on day 23 of flower and the smell is citric but veeery sweet, I'm very excited about this one, this is my first time working with her, hope to taste amazing tasty flowrs. In dieser Woche hat sich der Stretch stark verlangsamt und die Pflanze hat sich stark auf die Produktion von Blüten konzentriert.🍁🌲. Weshalb es auch nochmal mehr Blütendünger gab.💧 Leider haben sich manche Blätter mit braunen / rostfarbenen Punkten verfärbt. Weshalb ich den pH-Wert des Wassers etwas erhöht habe um Calcium-Mangel auszuschließen und das Licht ebenfalls bisschen höher gestellt um so einen evtl. Lichtstress entgegenzuwirken.👀 Ich hoffe ich bekomme das Problem so in den Griff.💪🏻 Dem Blütenwachstum hat es bis jetzt noch nicht geschadet 🍁🌱

Day 71 Update: Watered both plants with almost a gallon until runoff. Water was just plain pH balanced water. Plant #1 has 5 days left on flush and Plant #2 has 11 days left on flush. Although with my tent filling up, I will probably harvest Plant #1 tomorrow as I don't think 4 days of being in there will make a difference in the end product. Day 72 Update: Harvested Plant #1 today. Plant #2 has 10 days left on flush. Day 74 Update: Watered plant with 3/4gal of pH balanced water until runoff. Plant #2 has 8 days left on flush. Also, added another stake to help support a heavier branch. Day 76 Update: Placed buds from Plant #1 in jars to start curing...maybe a little bit too long drying, but if that's the case I'll toss a boveda pack in. Plant #1's yield was 57.2g or 2oz 1.2g. Plant #2 will be harvested sometime next week and I will update the harvest page as soon as buds are dried and weighed.

Un altra settimana è passata senza problemi...grazie alla mia perseveranza nel curarla e debellare i ragnetti Rossi che bastardelli mi sono arrivati anche dentro al box... sicuramente c'è li ho portati io involontariamente quando sono andato a vedere delle piante di un amico che erano impregnate di ragnetti e ragnatele sui fiori....vabbè ora devo sbattermi un po' più ma non lascerò che mi rovinino la mia terapia 💪👍🙏🕉️🙏... Start of Flowerweek 2

I use clear cups to see when the roots are hitting the side wall so I know when to transplant. (Cups are inside another dark cup so no light hits the root zone) They were pretty well rooted up by day 9 and I was able to transplant into my 5 gallon AC Infinity Fabric Pot. Still going super light on the nutrient mix because the soil is mixed well with additives. When I transplanted I was sure to hit the root zone throughly with Mykos Mycorrhizae Granular and Great White. Soil mix: 25% Fox Farm Happy Frog 25% Worm Castings 25% Fox Farm Ocean Forest 25% Peralite 1/4 cup of Mykos Mycorrhizae Granular mixed into soil. This little plant is now 100% into this soil blend and hopefully starts to explode! That’s why I’m going so light on my feedings.

Good morning, weekly update time! Today is day 41 of flower, the fade has started but the ladies are still bulking up and putting on weight! Prob start checking trichs in ten -14 days or so but like I said weight is stil increasing and white pistils are still dominant. Last week they got their last dose of recharge tea, I’ll probably give them fish shit one more week! I also gave them one last fruit compost tea I made with apple, cucumber, kiwi, and banana peels! Here on out there isn’t much to do and it’s getting boring for me, I liked working with them topping and training etc but now I just check on them once a day.
