The thrips infection is gone but there’re still a lot of damaged leafs as you can see in the photos/videos, but the growth hasn’t slowed down which is good. Anyway after I did some research into the big bang strain I found out that the company that sells this strain recommends “flushing” for a few days every other week starting from day 16 of flowering. This is meant to speed up bud development and I think it really did something here as the buds got twice as big. But I didn’t exactly follow their recommendations as it calls for watering the plants with large amounts of water and letting the soil dry for a few days and I don’t feel comfortable with that, so I watered them every day but made sure the soil was dry.

Sep 24: starting new diary to accommodate 30 week limit on Growdiaries. Buds are nearly ready but weather is good so will keep her going a bit longer. Nothing harvested from this plant yet but the clones are mostly harvested and produced great dense buds. Fantastic plant. Sep 28: took 995 g wet in first round which might be half of the plant, but I think I’ll end up over 2 kg wet which means 454 g dry is possible. Come on, I still haven’t had a one pound plant. Either way, this is the best growing strain I’ve ever tried, the buds are great and trimming is a total breeze. 👍👍

Last week of flowering, since couple of days we are only giving water but the last shot of ultra PK did some great work here, she swollen up and got really fat the last weeks. wonderful strain, really generous and easy to grow, vigorous and a really nice old school smell with a sweet mango like touch!

12 day dry @ 58-63RH & 60-66F in blacked out dry tent | Glass Jar Cure with Inert gas Early taste test and I actually love this bud, is the best in house strain I've grown so far & the second Platinum cross. 6/8 Haven't had to water yet (besides the two tens and I should've held off). It's an overcast day. Perfect for the plants. I've noticed more off shoots of 3 pronged leaves so a few plants will reveg but thats fine. I'm happy with how things are going thus far. These are certainly very resilient strains. I've done some SLIGHT LSTing. EDIT: IT'S BEEN A NICE DAY TODAY. A LITTLE OVERCAST BUT SUNNY AT TIMES. PERFECT WEATHER FOR THE GIRLS. THEY ARE LOVING IT OUT THERE! 6/9 And the girls are lookin' Fiiiiiine. In all seriousness everything is doing pretty good. Even that overwatered pink kush runt in the 10gal is coming out of its little funk. Some of my FIM's turned out amazing! With the reveg of some of these I'll definately have my hands full. Very grateful for smart pots and well draining soil! We've gotten some harsh rain but the girls all seem fine. It's the wind today that's a little worrisome. I may stop over later. I COULD put up tarps around the cage as wind blocks (and have before in the past) but it increases the humidity of an already extremely humid day. These girls are strong. I'm sure they'll be fine. I've found that the tarps typically hurt worse than they help. 6/10 56° at 9am. Shook the plants off. Medium wasn't soaked though. Luckily we had some wind. It's not raining now but it's going to have showers for half the day. Tomorrow is supposed to be in the 80's and sunshine so if that comes through things might workout alright. I still haven't had to water this year besides that one gallon on the tens. If I do something I'll update. I'm considering light stepping the two pink kush's in the 10's. I'll need to do more research. 6/11 BEAUTIFUL DAY! Windy too which helped dry the grow bags. Plants are growing at a rapid rate. I've yet to have to water. A few more days like this and I'll have too. It was in the 80's and is still 75 at 5:30. Bags still have heft to them and I can still feel moisture. They got tons of rain. I'll keep an eye on them. Thus far I'm pleasantly surprised (knock on wood). 6/12 Everything looked great this morning. It's a little overcast and 69° @ 8:45. I mixed water planning on watering but decided against it due to the weight I was feeling. My wife said it rained hard last night for a little while but the topsoil was dry. The medium looks dry but there is still some weight. I'll be back over later and I'll check things out. Overall plants have made a great transition even in this bi-polar weather extravaganza.

Day 63- Switched to plain ph’d water at the end of the week. Probably going to be 2 more in the upcoming week as they finish off. #1 is the tallest, and has some big buds, but are bit looser than the rest. #2 has gone beast mode, she is fattening and had hard dense nugs from top to bottom. #3 was a slow start but is quickly gaining on her sister’s. She has about 1 week longer than the rest, but is hard and dense, and is greasy! Did a big defoliation mostly to help ease the final trim when it comes, but to also allow for a little more trichome development as they finish up the remaining nutrients. It’s been a much cooler week so I have been gradually increasing the light intensity to get a final push for some weight and trichome production. Running at about 95% intensity at the moment with the tent hovering around 79-81 degrees freedom units. Checking trichomes daily with my 30x jewellers loupe, mostly cloudy now, with anlmost no amber popping up, just a few on the leaves. I’m watching my other strain as well, hoping the timing will be right for both to come down. I’m not in a rush, really want to maximize these buds, they are already very hard, and should be a good haul. Happy Gardening ❤️🌱🇨🇦😎💨

I really loved growing this strain. It was easy and stress-free. She seemed to be quite resistant to pests (my tent had a thrip invasion and it didn't seem to affect her too much). I will definitely grow it again in the future. Amazing tropical and fruity fragrances, I don't even know if I will be able to wait until it's cured before I can try it. It grew short and stout, almost buds only. I reckon it could have been a bigger plant if I would have started it under the Mars Hydro instead of on my balcony. Next time I'll do better 🙏 Overall great genetics from RQS, highly recommended! 🙌 **SMOKE REPORT UPDATE after a long and nice cure** The flavour is exactly what you would expect based on the delicious fragrance. Happy uplifting high. It's probably one of my favourite strains and it will most certainly come back in my grow tent.

Nutrients up untill flowering, bad idea. Substrate is 50/50 dirt and hydro, so hard for the roots I think. Not a big harvest, but trichomes were getting brown. These last series of harvest was really small!!! Smallest harvest ever! I hope she hits at least 10-fold!!!!! And she freaking does man!!! I have so little amount 😭😭😭😭😭
