The big girls have the tent to themselves after the GZ auto was harvested this week , looks to be around 5oz when dry so a nice little bonus smoke . Tied the girls out into final positions and they are looking and feeling chunky some of these colas are over a foot long and getting smelly as .

Hello colleagues! Finally I am standing at the finish line, you are probably familiar with this pleasant feeling - the euphoria of the upcoming harvest. Due to the difference in phenotypes, I have a slight desynchronization in ripening (the pink one is definitely ready), but I decided to harvest on the same day. The the buds were small so it made trimming a nightmare! But it’s done and the end product is worth all the time. I have loads of trim and small popcorn buds that will be dry Ice sifted and pressed into a hash brick. Will update the diary when I have some bcp hash Weighed up the trim at 588 grams, used my trim bins with dry ice to sift the trim and pressed it into blocks using a rosin pre press, I’ll now jar this and put it to one side. My first time doing this, definitely worth the effort!

Not happy with the outcome of the buds. But really impressed on how strong it was. Really nice stable genetics.

Week 8, Week 8 was a fairly easy one. The flowering spots are starting to fill in, and the leaves are starting to become frosty. I am watering her every three days with a teaspoon of nutrients and a tablespoon molasses. I think I have dialed in the grow tent and have a routine down. So this is day 40 of flowering,I had a slight PH issue with the Lionheart (Granddaddy Crack) plant which is the light green plant, back right. I was able to fix the PH issue by flushing with 6.0 Ph'd water. Other than that everything is looking beautiful. Lot's of trichome development and the buds are setting nicely.The Malawi plant at the back left (tall 100% sativa) is also starting to set beautifully. Malawi has a long flowering time (up to 70 days!) which means the colas will be huge hopefully.

I found a humidifyer the same day, that somehow arrived the next day! I use rubberbands to manipulate the canopy into being more flat and then I waited how it looks. I think I should bend it a bit more, but I am scared to hurt her .. I also silicone for the sealing, to be bit more sure, because it didnt look good enough for me. I am still not satisfied and will remove everything and start from scratch after this lady. I want the sealing to be absolutely perfect! But she looks really good to me. I like how it works, and it feels way easier than imagined! since I stayed with the all mix when the soil arrived, I dont think I need to feed it until bloom, since I heard, that the all mix has nutritens for 4 weeks

3/14: Came back from a 4 day vacation to a lot of dry, wilted, dead leaves on Amnesia. Trainwreck is super starved as well. My automatic watering system didn't kick on, and the humidifier ran out of water within 24 hours, so there's that. It may be for the better though, as the PH of the nutrients had risen to 7.5. I tossed that mix, and made another 2 gallons of half strength nutes, molasses and epsom salt. I watered them both to runoff, and now I'll wait for Amnesia to prioritize which leaves she thinks are worth saving, and then I'll defoliate the dead ones. Hopefully trainwreck will just bounce back to green. She needed to be defoliated anyway, so this situation makes it easier for me to find the dead leaves. Edit: Came back to feed the last of the nutes and decided to pluck the crispy goners. I found that pulling the leaf stem downward will make the most dead leaves fall right off, allowing me to test a majority of the leaves and give Amnesia a major haircut. Luckily I left a lot of leaves from prior defoliation, as Amnesia REALLY sucked them dry. 3/15: Amnesia looks no worse for wear than last night. Trainwreck as well. Went ahead and pulled as many dead leaves off Trainwreck as I could. Some leaves were a mix of crispy brown and healthy green, which I think is pretty goofy, so I avoided taking any green fans but removed the crispy ones. The colors of the leaves around the buds are really fun to look at. 3/16: Amnesia is starting to SHED her dead leaves, allowing me to pick the leaves with almost no effort. I tested as many leaves as I could, giving another haircut. I would say this isn't a good thing, but since it's my first grow, I'm rolling with it. As long as Amnesia keeps the buds and its nearest leaves alive, it will slowly grow, albeit stunted. I'm not sure if this condition will cause it to finish sooner, but I'm going to need to watch the trichomes under a microscope every couple of days just in case she's ready for harvest. Trainwreck looks about the same as it did before. No new leaves are ready to be removed there yet. 3/19: Amnesia is still shedding leaves, but also bulking up. Trainwreck is slowly bulking up, and turning purple as well! Going to keep an eye on Amnesia's trichomes. Edit: because amnesia is yellowing so much, and because it's been 5 days, I'm going to feed both plants a quarter strength nutrient mix just in case I've been overfeeding them somehow.

Plants are fattening up now. I think they have been a bit light stressed. Lowered ppfd 30.10.23 Raised Lights to 60cm. Looked like some was getting light stress Ppfd 650-600 Dli 46-43 2.11.23 Turned both lights to 3/4 power and lowered them to bring temp down a little bit. 465w 40cm Ppfd 630-400 at back dli 45-29 300w 42cm ppfd 730-430 Dli 52-31 4.11.23 10ml pk 5-8 in each plant with bactrex and recharge Ph6.3 Lights 3/4 power 45-50cm. Chugging right along were getting some stinky sticky ass buds. They smell my whole basement up of sweet citrusy with some skunks undertones(probably my photos that are also in bud but I dunno for sure) the buds are getting thicker daily and I mean daily doubling pretty well. I've never seen such a thing. I included the 4 photos I have that are also a month in to bud for a kind of comparison. The multi top frosty ass indica is the farthest along of the photos at 32days. I started them just before the autos went in. The other 3 are more sativa than frosty. They are all experimental to me so please excuse the way they are. I have been playing doctor since I bought this tent. Trying different things to see what works what doesn't what i am and am not capable of.Anyway I'm gonna start some Northern Lights x Big Bud Auto sometime after these 2 Short Riders get hung and i pull the indica . Ill keep a diary of it in case anyone starts following my adventures. Anyways I'm late with this one so enjoy my ramblings and my pics of my girls.

Well, another week has passed and it has been growing not exactly as I expected, but they warned me about using only base fertilizers with an inert soil and a higher ambient temperature, I could have a not so good result, well, it's one more experience and I liked it and let's see how it will be until the end of the cycle because the next one I already ordered a starter kit from the advanced nutrients line! Let's Go!

Fractal week Week 20 8/11-17 For my outside ladies, Opium, Auto Opium, Fractal, and Lemon Cake not much changed. They continue lovin life outside. These ladies are maturing as many fans are yellowing and falling off. Temps are comfortable following Storm Debby, in the 80s with low humidity. Buds are fattening up, trichomes are minimal at this time but some fragrance is starting to be noticed. These ladies had a long vegetation phase. They germinated April 1 so I could get them hardened off before I went on vacay. They had basically 4 months of veg and the colas are already large, trichomes forming and with 2 more months to go, my expectations for these are heavy yields and sticky dense buds. Fractal had her spa day and had heavy defoliation of her voluminous fan leaves. It took me from 9:30 to 3:30 to trim her. Oh, and there are so many feeder and sugar leaves remaining, She will be a b!tch to trim at harvest. . weeks ago I indicated that I used peony cages ass a scrog, however, a scrog would have kept the colas beneath the grid. Oh well, not my (our) week 🙄 During the week the Ladys start to look a overwatered and I had no idea how this could happen ... Well, first I tried to rise temperature slightly and had the fans run more often to dry them out a bit quicker, did not work. Than I took them out of the System ... All together worked, at least it looked so ... for 1 day ... Yesterday I found the real reason. The Humidity Controller was broken ... During the night they had around 90% humidity and during the day only 25-30%, way to high and way to low. Replaced the Controller today, hope next week will start smoother 🙂 Beside of this they made huuugggeeee progress, some nearly tribbeld in size and are around 5-6 Nodes now, will top them all next week when they recovered a bit 🙂 Also added some Alfaboost to help them a bit. Ab geht es in die nächste Woche alle Ladys machen hervorragende vortschritte in die breite. Zudem sind die Abstände der neuen Abzweigungen relativ gering und gleichmäßig. Aktuelles setting: 18/6 Zyklus 60-75% Luftfeuchtigkeit Temperaturen liegen zwischen 20 und 25 Grad regelmäßig. Der Ventilator kommt täglich für 10 Std zum Einsatz allerdings noch gegen die Wand gerichtet damit die Luft Abprallen kann und frühstens 2 Std nachdem das Licht eingeschaltet wurde da die Ladys meiner Meinung nach den Tag nicht direkt mit Stress beginnen sollen :) Zudem entwickelt sich bei einer Pflanze (Welche vermutlich eine andere Sorte ist vom aussehen her) einen stark bekannten Haze Geruch der mich direkt zum lächeln bringt wenn ich sie besuche! :) PPFD: 470 DLI: 30,5 LUX: 18.000 Kelvin: 5100 Dünger bisher nicht verwendet da sie noch frisch umgetopft sind und der Biobizz Light mix laut angaben und Infos von anderern Growern für 2-3 genug Nährstoffe besitzt. Mother Gorilla is a new and improved version of Royal Madre. The strain is a cross between Reina Madre (Queen Mother) and Gorilla Glue (GG # 4). As with any cross, the offspring have pronounced Reina Madre as Gorilla types and everything in between. Reine Madre has a complex terpene profile with sweet, sour and spicy aromas. However, the buds are rarely pronounced sweet or sour. The vast majority of the plants are rather spicy. However, it is difficult to give a specific description of this spicy aroma. When smoking, you can recognize it by its specific taste. The Gorilla specifications are also there: high in THC and the fantastic aromas of pine, chocolate and diesel. Mother Gorilla has a stimulating sativa-dominant effect. Energy and excitement without being overwhelming. A stimulating and creative effect. Euphoric at higher doses. The strain is great for small gatherings and parties and puts you in a social mood. It is also ideal to enjoy at home, if you are looking for some inspiration and introspection. The taste is rather spicy. With some plants, this gives a pronounced taste that may not please everyone. Sweet and sour is always well balanced, but never pronounced. The effect is mild and rather social. Larger doses really create a strong euphoric mood. The plant is fairly easy to grow. Her branches are fairly sturdy for a sativa, but also flexible enough for just about all pruning and bending techniques. Flowering time is at least 9 weeks. I am very satisfied with the autopots. You can leave for a few days without worrying. I wouldn't use them if you live on a floor. Occasionally they leak sometimes .... The pots are wet and heavy, but strangely enough you don't have problems with budrot. Here is a list of all 16 plants: # 1 89cm 13.9gr Small Plant, Small yielder. Incredibly soft aroma, with a very subtle Reine Madre taste. Delicious! # 2 144cm 53.0gr Beautiful large plant with a high yield. Beautiful buds. Sativa. Hazey. Excellent! # 3 144cm 33.0gr Pronounced foxtail sativa buds. Lower yield. Softer aroma than # 2. # 4 129cm 28.7gr Perfect mix between sweet and sour aromas. What a beauty! # 5 117cm 37.6gr Surprising yield for this smaller plant. Balanced sour / sweet. Great! # 6 92cm 21.2gr Beautiful plant. Seems a bit like the small version of plant # 13. But here too the aroma is less pleasant. # 7 123cm 29.0gr Hazey taste due to the many sativa influences. But also surprisingly sweet. Sugared with trichomes. Superb! # 8 124cm 38.0gr Good hard bud yield. With a pronounced strong spicy Reina Madre aroma. Don't stick your nose in the jar for too long. Splendid ! # 9 102cm 24,7gr Most beautiful Sativa-style buds, swollen, hard and ripe. Magnificent! A lust for the eye. And that taste ... incredible! # 10 65cm 16.3gr Small plant, low yield. Small tops with beautiful brown pistils. Subtle slightly spicy sweet Reine Madre fragrance. # 11 71cm 15.6gr Too bad about the low yield, but what a wonderfully soft and sweet aroma! The tops smell like super soft shortcrust with a very light touch of vanilla. Fantastic! # 12 111cm 24.0gr Less pleasant odor. Catpiss ... # 13 113cm 54.0gr Very different plant. Looks a bit like Critical 47 from Positronics that I once grew. Plant # 6 is also such a phenotype. Probably stray seeds…. Large yield of skunky buds with many orange-brown pistils. However, the fragrance is not skunky, but unpleasantly sour. # 14 92cm 21.4gr Top quality. Firm hard ripe swollen buds. Beautiful brown pistils. Many trichomes. Fantastic aroma. Splendid ! # 15 126cm 67.1gr Extreme heavy yielder. Rocket-shaped mega top. The weed is less beautiful and has less trichomes, but does have the typical Reine Madre smell and taste. Topper! # 16 88cm 16.4gr Small plant with small buds and relatively much leaves. Low yield. A lot of trichomes.
