They are really stretching their legs this week. The big Blueberry Muffin lady in the back corner, who didn’t get topped as much as the other plants, is really stretching! Bud development is showing and it smells so sweet! I have seen a thrip here and there, but a healthy Nuke ‘Em routine took care of them with no problem!

Got hit by a severe heatwave this week! Temps reached 104 in the grow tent even with the lights off and fans at full blast. Threw some ice in front of a fan to help but it was not enough. Also doesn't help I went one day over when I would normally water them. First day of reasonable weather today. Plants seemed sad and droopy for a day, luckily after feeding they perked right back up. Defoliated slightly this week. Will definitely NEED air conditioning moving forward. Aside from that, the odor these two are creating is already mesmerizing. Best I can describe the smell so far is, a mixture of sweet pineyness with a light pungent funky undertone. Can't wait to switch to flower in a few days! Going to be flushing both plants this Sunday 05/31.

Diese Woche wurden die Pflanzen umgetopft, leider ist eine der 2x Purple Punch kaputt gegangen aufgrund der Genetik, und ganz plötzlich ist auch eine der 3x Runtz umgeknickt, wahrscheinlich durch die zu großen Temperaturschwankungen von Tag/Nacht. Die Banana zweigt leichte weisse Färbung auf den Blättern und die unterren ersten zwei Richtigen Blätter sind leicht verfärbt ( gelblich) . Ausserdem wurde heute zum ersten mal gedüngt mit Rootjuice und Bio Grow.

Week 6 is a short one. Humidity is high as shit but I've just ordered a dehumidifier. VPD sadly is only at about 0.8 mPa during the Day and wayy lower at night.

Starting to realise why it is called Northern Lights, it is glowing even in the dark. Plant looks healthy, enjoying it's mid flowering party.

Chugging along here now, half way through flower I suspect, still learning as I go, hopefully she will fatten up real big, but realistically just want to be done now, taking so long!!

3/6/2023 - Day 8 Flower: Not a lot to report. The girls are definitely stretching. Grew about 10 inches in the last week. Did a light foliar today with some Pure Protein Dry. Figured with the significant growth they could use a little extra nitrogen. Even with the recent stretch, I've been real pleased with the node spacing. Looking like they are going to stack real nice. They a drinking much faster now too. They will need to be watered again tomorrow, so they are drinking about 8 gallons a week. Other than some very minimal tip yellowing of a few leaves, thay look healthy as can be. 3/7/2023 - Day 9: watered with 4 gallons of 6.5 ph water. Added Jay Plantspeaker Quillaja as a wetting agent, then added Rootwise Enzyme Elixer, and Bio-Phos, BuildASoil Big 6, BuildABloom, Coconut Powder, Fermented Comfrey and Fermented Peach. I skipped the Pure Protein Dry this time, since I just foliar fed them with it yesterday. 3/9/2023 - Day 11: Added the second layer of trellis netting. I may need to lower it, but I want to wait and see how much more they stretch. Otherwise, everything else looks great. 3/10/2023 - Day 12: lowered the trellis net today and lolipopped the girls. Also watered 6 gallons today, mixing in Jay Plantspeaker Quillaja as a wetting agent, then added TeaCo Super Tea Blend, Recharge, Rootwise Enzyme Elixer, BuildASoil Big 6, BuildABloom, Coconut Powder, Yah-Whey Thrive, and Pure Protein Dry. Today was the first sign of some preflower. 3/12/2023 - Day 14 Flower: the plants did not like something about the last watering. The newest growth is having some severe curling and I discoloring. I'm thinking it has to be either the TeaCo or Recharge, but I've never had problems with either of those before. They were the only thing different about my last watering. They will need to be watered again tomorrow, so I plan to ease up on the nutrients, and definitely will not be adding anymore TeaCo or Recharge. Hopefully they can grow out of this and it doesn't get worse!

11/5 -- They now have 2 weeks of 12/12 under their belts and it's truly been a tale of 3 plants for the past week and a half. GZ2- This one has the opportunity to meet its full potential. It has stretched to give me this beautiful canopy and very few signs of over feed or stress in it. Hopefully she stays this way. Moby- look like it may have been developing some deficiencies. I fed it a few days ago and it seemed to respond well. Some leaves have gotten yellow but the plant is do thick and dense I'm not worried about a few falling off. All in all, it's been steady eddy for Moby Dick that I now believe is also a Barney's Farm Freebie(the seed is now listed where I buy mine from) I'm not going to change it but if you're keeping track, this is most likely a tent full of Barney's Farm. Gz1- and now the music gets a little more serious. I really started recognizing problems with her right at flip. She has lost a lot of fan leaves due to yellowing,, dark stems and I can tell her branching has suffered because of it. Growth at the bottom looks weak and even wrinkled in some spots. She has burn spots and signs of deficiency galore. But also VERY dark fan leaves. I've just come to the conclusion that flushing was probably my best move. She can still have a week of solid growing. If I can get it corrected now, this plant will still be respectable but the trend is disturbing and alarming to someone who knows how fast they can decline. So in conclusion, things are getting a little hairy. Flowering always brings on a new set of challenges and I'm still learning every single time. i had to manage to run the field with back up lights.. FCE6500 marshydro light gone stop working and the guarantee process taking too long and asking 40usd for shipping.. they said .. and it’s a tiring process and i haven’t got it yet! but the yield is something good except they didn’t get full potential light power as fce6500 failed its duty and warranty process is taking more than a month. tiring!!!

Week 2 I didn't do much in the tent I was actually away from them for 2 weeks and had no problems. With auto pot system, you fill it up and forget about it. Babies are still a little deficient but they'll start to correct themselves in another week or two. I didn't have any footage for this week so I decided to post a video of the 2nd run of rainbow cake. The frost on this strain is unbelievable.
