Apr 09: Things are chuggin along, i think light may have been a factor in the brown spots, seeing similar symptoms on one of the other plants but very very minor in comparison.... I think it was too little calmag, i may have locked them out mid veg by using high concentration of nutes without watering till runoff (i now know, that is a no-go), and light stress. i have had them under 850-1050 ppfd when flipped to flower... one of them is loving the light, one is big and bushy (had to defoliate later than i wanted), and one has good bud structure but pistils seem thin, and growth seems slower (the one with the brown polkadot party on its body) so thinking it may be stunted. either way, im seeing denser buds, and im learning the ropes, thats enough for me :) Apr 12: Last feed day... Trichomes look just about ready, will do 2 runoff waterings 48hrs apart, then 24-36 hr darkness... Will try to post trichome pics.... Super excited to see the improvements from this run vs last run...!

The week starts Monday, Jan-13 in flowering stage. The plant is growing fast, stretching long and I'm constantly tying down branches to maintain an even canopy. There's also a stronger scent of lemon already in the tent. Carried out substantial defoliation of almost all the big fan leaves and a few little stems that were not likely to make it above the canopy. Avoided defoliating the major cola branches. This encourages the plant not to waste resources on a node which is only going to produce “popcorn” buds. The plants reacted well to the defoliation and were looking good by the end of the light cycle for the day. The net is completely full and this will be the last week of applying any LST as part of the ScrOG setup. Light is maintained at 30cm distance from canopy, with daily fertigation at lights on - watering almost 3L per day. The net is filling up nicely with the ScrOG process being enjoyable - just tucking branches nicely under squares once stretched enough. Lost a branch end with 3 nodes accidentally whilst tucking away so now I'm super careful. The Sativa dominant strain is stretching nicely and bends easily. Minor defoliation of lower branches and fan leaves continues daily. Light is maintained at 30cm distance from canopy. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The week starts Monday, Dec-30 in vegetative stage - switching the light regime to flowering. Initiated flowering with an extended dark period prior to switching light regime - this practice is supposed to promote a faster initiation of flowering by the plant. Maintain lights off from Dec-31, 10:00 until Jan 1 - 18:45 allowing a 32hr darkness period prior to switching the light regime. Light regime is set for 12.5/11.5 on/off allowing me a better maintenance window for my living situation. Both plants are growing fast and strong, showing their genetic traits. Some shoots are going through the net already. Have started to tuck branches as they grow to fill up any gaps. Did minor defoliation on both plants near their stem base and centres. Some green algae on roots/coco medium on the surface of the pot. Have defoliated some more which hopefully helps with air circulation at the area. Will monitor over the week - may need to decrease watering frequency, although they seem to be keeping up drinking. Lowered the High Humidity setting of the extraction fan to 60% - which effectively keeps it running at least 75% of the time, and removed the humidifier. Will monitor and adjust as necessary lowering the setting to 50% in a few weeks whilst flowering. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The week starts Monday, Dec-23 in vegetative stage. Installed the ScrOG net - Set at 20cm from the base of the plants, being 55cm from ground. The plant is showing great growth, lots of branching and new growth sprouts. A few branches are beginning to come through the net and almost all main branches are now tied down horizontally after the two recent toppings. Applied more LST and will wait for the branches to reach the net and start tucking. The AC Infinity fan is currently only running intermittently with its current settings. This seems to impact the utilisation and effectiveness of the carbon filter in use. The desired outcome is for the fan to be running for longer periods whilst in Auto config. Lowered the High Level Humidity from 70% to 60%, and more importantly, lowered the Max Speed from 4 to 2 with the intent that a lower fan speed will result in longer periods where the extraction fan is operated to remain below threshold targets for the grow space. Plant growth continues to be strong at the end of the week. Big fan leaves near the top are beginning to look a little serrated and dark, similar to the start of this grow. This may be due to the extra CalMag being added which was the issue at the start of the grow. Will keep monitoring and half the CalMag dosage on next feed. Importantly, I have learnt nutrient mixing of the CalMag should be done prior to the Canna Coco A & B. To date I have done the opposite which may explain my earlier issues. Fertigating daily at the start of the light cycle. Alimentamos la última semana nuestras plantas con Agrobeta. Por supuesto el ph se mide en cada riego y se mantiene en 6.2 y riego en intervalos de 48h. La temperatura está entorno al 22/24 grados y la humedad anda sobre el 50%. Las plantas en si ya están bien sanas, tutore la rama principal para que no se fuese de madre, y así controlaré la altura. Yo creo que en 1 o 2 semanas podré darles machetazo, pero ya vamos viendo estas semanas. I begin by telling you that I just broke my single plant crop record ... grown outside for all its vegetation and then integrated into a very small tent of just 80 centimeters, in the company of 4 other plants! fantastic reaction to every stress ... he pulled up on his way like a fucking tractor and at the end of the race he was able to satisfy me decently determining the right balance between quality and quantity .... I will definitely try other great beans from this serious company

This week the plan will be to continue LST by tying down new shoots to encourage new flower sites. I am starting to see some hairs so I am going to call this week 1 of flower. I had hoped for a bit more of a pre-flower stretch on the girls, but hopefully they get a little taller during the flower stretch. At the same time, with continued LST, hoping to increase bud sites and increase overall light penetration. Keeping an eye on the water PH level as mine switches a bit in the winter vs. the summer time. Same system of watering thoroughly when dry, also adding water to the bottom of the fabric pots to be soaked up, to encourage lower soil moisture for root stretching. The Low Ryder genetics in the AK74 seems to be keeping to squat. Hopefully some of the AK47 bud structure comes through in some of these phenotypes. I've taken out measuring the plant height, as it is slightly hard to accurately describe that with the constant LST. I've also highlighted HST as a grow technique, but this is mostly just some simple Super Cropping on some of the bud sites that are a bit more awkward to tie down with soft ties. At the end of this week or early next week I plan to amend the top soil with some more Gaia Green Power Bloom, as the nutrients used during initial planting will be starting to be used up and we are entering flowering phase with more need for the bloom nutrients. I will likely also add a little bit of the 4-4-4 All Purpose as well, in case the plants still have a bit of nitrogen requirements for vegetation. Otherwise, things are green and things are looking healthy to date. I have some moisture gnats, but not enough for it to be a pain. I will be adding an additional dehumidifier into the environment as we progress into flowering, to make sure to discourage mold or mildew from forming. Additional fans are being added as well for better air flow.

So as you know i started this the same time and she started week/slow. However she seems to be doing really good and seems to like being on schedule with the auto gorilla glue. 🤞everything goes well.

Color on them is a beautiful green with a sweet smell starting to poke through. The taller of the two seem to have gone a different route being tall with some gaps between nodes as the smaller one has stacked nice a tight. All in all Happy Growing
