What an incredible journey this has been! From start to finish, these plants dazzled at every stage. The drying process was a bit of a marathon – 21 days of suspense. But now, they are absolutely perfect. They snapped off the stems with a satisfying crunch – straight into my rolling paper for, ahem, "quality control" purposes. I'm beyond excited to have 2 more seeds ready for the future. Though I won't be growing them in my next round, I can't wait to see what they'll do next time. These gorgeous ladies have rewarded me with a whopping 248 grams dry! I'm in absolute weed heaven. Now comes the hard part – keeping my hands off while they cure and reach their full potential. My trusty humidor will help make sure they become everything they're meant to be. Here's to a fantastic harvest and many more green adventures ahead! 🌿🎉

Happy New Year!!! Over the past week I did some HST bending on my photos and cut down 2 of the 3 Blackberry’s. The branches are starting to recover and straighten out after the HST now. I still have some issues with pale leaves and a few spots here and there. I’m going to try adding some Dolomite Lime with the next watering and think that should help with the paleness. I’m also going to up the amount of CalMag and Mammoth P to see if that helps with the spotting. I’m not sure if I should see the spotted leaves recover or if the spots will remain. I suspect the spots will remain on the existing leaves regardless of what I do at this point, but hopefully no new spotting will develop. The lights went off before I was done taking pics, so some pics will look a little different. The pics with the lights on I had to color correct, they still look a little more on the yellow side than in reality, but much closer to reality than the pre-color corrected versions. Once the lights went off I turned the flash on for my camera, those pics did not need any color correction. You can see the differences in the pics of all plants, the first 2 are color corrected with the lights on, the last 2 are taken with a flash and no color correction. Also all close up pics of the Critical+ are with the lights off and flash on. I read several books on cannabis over the past few days, some good, some not so much. One that I liked was “Marijuana Cultivation Reconsidered: The Science and Techniques For Huge Indoor Yields” by Read Spear. This book is available on Amzon’s Kindle Unlimited service, which costs $9.99/month, but they offer a free 30 day trial (which is what I’m using at the moment). Reed’s book is broken down into 3 sections, the first and third go fairly deep into the science behind growing, he does a pretty good job at breaking it down in easy to understand terms, but I had to read several sections 2 or 3 times to really get it (or just move on with as much understanding as I could digest). The second section is the nuts and bolts of growing. Most was a review but there were several topics he touched on I hadn’t thought of in a while. And again its well written. He also offers the section only in a separate book called “Small Spaces, Big Yields”. If you are not interested in going deeper into the science behind growing, “Small Spaces, Big Yields” is what I would recommend (if interested in reading books on cannabis). I took some notes while reading and I’m going to add some of these notes in my dairy updates over the next few weeks. This week I’m going to include a note on electrical, this should be a fairly basic concept, but it is super important IMO… “Electrical Items In a sealed grow room or in a tent, you will have water pooling on the floor from time to time. There is no avoiding this. Mop it up when you see it, and never put your electrical gear directly on the floor. Never. Not even for a moment. In fact, let me stress this point in bold capital letters. ALL ELECTRICAL GEAR MUST BE MOUNTED SECURELY ON A WALL OR TENT POLE.” -Read Spear I’ll add more did bits like this in my diaries over the upcoming weeks. If anyone has any good book recommendations please let me know in the comments. I’m looking for books that might not be as popular as the ones by Jorge Cervantes or Ed Rosenthal (I’ve read those). I did just order “True Living Organics” by The Rev which I’m looking forward to reading. But I’m looking for more. I really want to step it up and learn as much as possible. GENERAL COMMENT. This week ran nicely for the two girls, of course one is going slower than the other. RQS STRESS KILLER AUTO. Super happy with the results so far, she grew nice size buds, in the surrounding and a big fat main cola, just beautiful. As we are entering the last week, of last tree days, I choose to lollipop and take do a pre harvest defoliation, the reasons for that is mould and rot, I started to become insecure because she didn’t have airflow and as i was flushing humidity started to raise, all good, and now just approaching harvest! Flushing with flawless finish and tap water.

Just for the pro mix competition, various plants i've harvested with Pro mix soil. Thank you Pro mix for the soil, my plants and I both loved it.

Day 29 29/07/24 Monday Nice feeding today with De-chlorinated tap water pH 6. Gave her 300 ml and she had a small run off. Recovered from topping now. Showing new growth. Seems happy and healthy ✌️💚 Day 31 31/07/24 Wednesday De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 with added Plagron Power Buds 5ml to 5L and same for Plagron PK13-14. It advised to add these every irrigation, but because I'm using advanced nutrients I'll use these with just the water rotation. If I see nutrient burns I will remove some advanced nutrients additives and go from there. Day 32 01/08/24 Thursday Another feed today using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6, 1.5L Day 35 04/08/24 Sunday END OF WEEK 😁 De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 today with Plagron products.

Harvested the haze and cookies.. poor outcome.. lessons learned. PW going good but not ready for harvest i reckon.

1/22/2024 - Day 22 veg: today is the 1st day of week 4, and every is going well. Lightly watered just to keep the top soil moist, but my moisture level further down is still good. She is showing some very minor tip burn, but nothing I'm concerned about. 1/27/2024 - Day 27: was out of town the last few days, and she is definitely starting to flower already. Seeing some very minor tip burn, but other than that she appears healthy. Not as big as I would have like to see her get before flowering, but it looks like the issue with the foiler spray stunted her a bit.

Pollination is well underway. The ladies are prego and the seeds are developing very rapidly! A few of the first flowers to get hit have there flower bracts already torn open. Exposing the growing seeds(still very green and immature). They are coating there flowers with protective trichomes like crazy! Sucess. All three ladies I have in there are heavily seeded! Now I'm watching them work their magic. Producing me some new killer crosses to phenohunt. The male flowers have been dried and stored. I'm slowly sifting the pollen into a vile. Whenever I get a chance to play with pollen lmfao. I've only made a dent in my freezer bag supply. Until next update. Happy growing and stay lit fam.

Noted that the white dandruff coming out the runoff was indeed spring tails. looks like they have made a home in my medium and I don't care. must be eating all the dead shit. Still ph'ing my water up to combat the acidic whatever in the pots. maybe this is from the spring tails or bacteria in there. good thing is they eat mold and other nastiness in the soil. I do think I messed up quite a bit on this grow, I am hoping the next one will be better. First time using liquid feed vs dry soil amendments. This seedstockers plant I am noticing as the most white pistils then every other plant, wondering if it is going to go a bit longer till its ready. We have a few plants lined up to flower the day these come down (White Widow likely) ..every Banger clone taken in week 2-3 of flower are growing and of good size now, we'd like to put a few outside this summer ... Major changes here at Night Owl summer camp. Have had a rodent problem! Something has figured out a way to get into the dormitory (greenhouse)and had a feast on my plants. Five branches off the Harvey Wallbanger, and two each off the Vanilla Fizz and the 91Grapes. Oh my gosh! I needed to do something else. My wife gave me a spare bedroom for a grow nursery! What a girl I have! So spent the day yesterday moving tents and hanging lights and got the girls all situated in the new dormitory away from some vampire in the night. Will give an individual plant update shortly. ***ok, back. Let’s start with the Harvey Wallbanger. Miss Harvey was on her way to becoming my most interesting grow to date before she was devoured by some creature of the night. She’s a cross of Orange Diesel and Cookie Smasher and even at this early stage of flowering she’s producing a nice glossy sheen and sweet aroma to match. She is a towering 48 inches making her the tallest autoflower that I have ever grown. She is slender and resembles the structure of a clone but I believe her flowers themselves will be massive in size and trichomes production. To date she has yet to make a single leaf with more than five points on it. She is truly interesting. Next let’s explore the Vanilla Fizz. Ms. Fizz didn’t get it as bad as Miss Harvey but suffered significant injuries as well. Loosing two full branches and enough bottom bud sites that the bottom 30 percent is now already cleaned up. She is the bushiest of the three with plenty of growing bud sites. Standing a proud forty three inches tall she comes in last in height but may be stacked up the nicest. Last but certainly not least comes the 91Grapes. Since she received the least amount damage from nightly feastings we are going to feature her until harvest. Only loosing two branches and not much else she was spared from destruction. She is massive!!! Not a massive amount of vegetation just in size over all. She’s 44 inches tall and big enough around for a bear hug. She takes up the entire 40 inch by 40 inch tent all by herself. She was probably spared damage due to her size. Pom poms are everywhere as is evidence of cheerleading practices and she is captain of the squad. Going to have to get a little more creative with the way watering will be conducted in the future. The formula 707 soil is for retaining moisture in outdoor conditions so I am afraid that it will retain moisture indoors and be a pest problem.

Day 50 since seed touched soil. From now on all is in stable position. Twins always will be in center, looks sad a bit, was needing watering maybe yesterday before lights off, missed few hours for not making them droopy. 5 liters went in, want good run off and saturation. Later today will install second level of scrog. Reposition all shoots, some are lost, i almost regret instaling scrog, lost control of even height a bit, but canopy is very dense, branches went fatter during that week, i am happy . Mars TSL2000 is on 80% will increase to 90% at the end of this week. Day 53. Second level of scrog almost eaten, will have to make third, plus heavy clearing awaits next week ... Day 54. Think tomorrow is watering day. Girls need good clearing, bottom canopy been canibalised heavily, lack off air shows a lot. Will do third level of scrog together with watering. Day 55. Twins are thirsty !!! They are very sensitive , yesterday all good, pot still heavy for a day and today they look like this, pot light ;))) will recover in few hours. Watered, did light cleaning before, only bottoms and shoots with 0 chance to make it ... Watering exposed new roots, plant occupies top up lair fast ! Happy Growing !!!
