Praying my girls are not all in different stages of dying 😭More to follow... 1/9/21 These girls were finally dry enough to water I weighed each post before and after watering. I am going to try weighing the pots and water when the weight is about half as dry.as I normally do. So Maybe I should water @ 3lbs heavier... somewhere between 8-9lbs 1/10 I changed the light cycle so that my "night time" is in the middle of the day for heating reason, so this morning when I woke up, after being under the lights for 18 hours I actually had growth on two plants. Gorilla Glue and my photo plant Chocoloope that is growing with the autos. They were both under the VIPARSPECTRA 2020 Pro Series P1000 LED Grow Light. The other two plants were under BLOOMSPECT Double Chips Series 1500W LED Grow Light Full Spectrum. I wish I hadn't made so many mistakes with this grow because I know there is no way to know if it is the light that made them grow better than the other two or they were just a little healthier. I don't think so because Gorilla Glue is the worst plant and she actually grew but who knows. Anyways I switched the plants around so they are under the opposite light when their day time starts and we will just have to see. I thought I still had good air circulation but apparently I did not and the plants are not happy. Gorilla Glue is not going to make it. She turned real dark green after watering her on Saturday, she had a small amount of growth Sunday but now all the leaves are laying down. I don't know if I should use Sledge hammer but after flushing a week ago letting her dry for a week and then watering Saturday I don't know if I flushed her with sledge hammer if that would finish her off or perk her back up. I weighed her and she was 4 pounds lighter than when I watered her on Saturday and still 2+ pounds lighter than when she is the driest. Some background on how I tried to kill my plants... 😭 I started this grow by watching a zillion videos with my key take away being 1-don't over water 2- don't transplant autos 3- don't feed full strength. I took it seriously, so my tiny little sprouts were put into 3 gallon pots of Fox Farm happy frog potting soil. (didn't realize this already had enough nutrients to last several weeks so I started nutrients in the 2nd week of Veg) I use Fox farm nutrients and follow their soil feeding schedule. I bought the Dirty Dozen starter kits and it did not have 2 products in that the feeding schedule but since they were not in the kit I assumed they must not be too important. They were.... Wholly Mackerel & Marine Cuisine fertilizer. I used a turkey baster to slowly drip a couple ounces of water around each plant I water just like in this picture. https://prnt.sc/wjq0gi for over a month. I didn't realize by watering like this for a month that I was making the nutrients build up just below the the root line each watering. I waited to water till the plants were very dry. Now looking back Way way to dry before watering. I am sure that is why they were not growing. I was only giving them enough to stay alive not thrive. So a little more back info Day 14 I watered the plants with plan water Day 23 after not having to water the plants for 9 days I watered them, 1/4 gallon each with week 2 schedule, with the addition of calmag+(2-0-0) @ 50% strength Day 27 they were light and needed to be watered and they had grown a little. so I gave them nutrients same as above Day 30 The plants were not quit as dry as usual but I was beginning to think I was underwatering them so I gave them 1/2 gallon of THIS IS WERE IT ALL GOES WRONG...(Actually after reviewing my grow journal just now my problems started Day 1 and was showing signs I just didn't know it and I still am not sure how to fix any of it Almost makes me think I should scrap it all and start over. These poor plants will be lucky to produce anything) Someone could seriously use my grow journal as a "everything not to do" guide. Day 35 since the plants were finally big enough to soak the pots fully. I also decided since they had used 1/2 gallon water in 3 days and they grew a ton I upped the nutrients to full strength and the calmag plus as well. This was the first time I had any runoff sadly I let the plants sit in the runoff and reabsorbed all the runoff. Day 38 Flushed each plant with with 5 gallons of tap water that had a PH of 6.4 & water temp was 62 degrees. My run off started at 4300ppm with a ph of 6.2. The PH was consistent in every plants runoff and all of them had off the chart PPMs. I brought NB down to 250ppm. Gorilla Glue and Pineapple express I brought the runoff down to 450. For some reason I decided that since my plants were probably in shock from no water and nutrients to more water and a whole lot of nutrients and I figured flushing them would reset the soil and I reasoned they would need food after not getting any from being in shock so I gave them each a half strength nutrients. I waited a full week then posted this question. Day 45 I have each plant plain water and checked the run off. The Gorilla Glue had a run off of 584ppm with a ph of 6.47 , The northern lights X had 750ppm and 6.38ph pineapple express had 1170ppm runoff so I ran a less less than an extra half gallon of water and that brought the ppm down to 706. PH was 6.3. I have a photo period that I didn't add to this dairy but has been with these plants and it is starting to show the same signs as the others they are just all in different phases of whatever I did to almost kill them. I started the next week on Friday so I will be adding pictures and a couple videos I took from today in my grow dairy tonight. I don't know what to do next.

Went west trim and will tidy up dry trim as I’m simply terrible At it. Great aroma - Very sticky !!! Very frosty. Almost a sun actually to cut them down. But they’re up for it, they know the medicinal love they bring. Think the smoke report should be high grade

This is the end of week 4. So day 28 from planting. This has been a wonderful week. As you can see they are extremely bushy and happy. I do have 2 short ones. However My tallest one is now 22 inches, the shortest one is 11 inches, but on average they are about 18 inches. I did some more LST and some defoliation this week. They have a minimum of 6 tops and some have 11 tops. I am still on a twice a week feeding schedule and it will be like that until they begin to flower. They are some really happy plants right now.

Realized just how intense manual feeding for coco is. Takes up to 3 hours to mix the nutrients, water, and wait to empty the saucers. And I'm just doing this once a day, imagine the experienced growers feeding 3+ times a day. Definitely would be ideal to have a drip/drain system installed in the future. Pheno 2 got so lanky and heavy it fell over! A scrog and bamboo sticks would've helped a ton. Placed a peony cage to support the branches but it's hard to get it angled properly with the branches grown out. Boosted the PK again this week and halved the Bloom Nutes.

Hi growmies, unfortunately I skipped a day checking on the reservoir and the plant must have consumed a lot more water than expected, probably due to the heat we are experiencing where I live, since I realized tip burn getting worse everywhere I checked the ec, which was close to 3 😳, topped up with RO water right away and this seems to have stopped it. Other than that I don’t think it bothered the plant too much either, as she keeps on swelling bigger and bigger. A&B fertilizer was reduced already and once, either next week or the one after I’ll start flushing, depending on the stage of ripening.

What's up Growmies🤟🏽. Week # 8 is in the books🙌🏾 Hello week #9💪🏾 I went a little overboard on pictures this week, they are so happy and healthy that I got carried away. I know we are supposed to post pictures with the lights off, however it's something about the contrast it gives with the lights on that makes it look sexy to me😁. I have had to tie the stalks of both White LSD plants due to heavy sagging. I'm noticing with this strain the stalks seem to topple over even though the buds are far from fully developed. A trellis net probably would be ideal however I hate them. They are easy to put on but very difficult to take off come harvest. I use garden wire and string them as if they are puppets being controlled by the puppet master🤪. I continue my feeding schedule with the recommended "bloom" concoction using general hydroponics Flora series trio. I give them 1 liter every 3 days. I have them on a 2 to 2 cycle (feed them twice with nutes and then twice with plan water) I keep the p.h. around 6.1 to 6.6. Temps and humidity are in the perfect range I'm enjoying it while it last because spring and summer in VA makes it difficult to keep the humidity in check. All in all everything is going well for me and my ladies. I hope the same for all of you. Things are going well. This is a very inconsistent strain. I finally decided to kill off the plant A529 because it just would not grow and always looked over watered even though the rest of my garden looked great. One thing i can say is this strain in extremely nute hungry. I could easily increase my N if this was the only strain i was running

HELLO GROWING FRIENDS - Please look at my Aftermovie Growvideo, which cost me about 4 hours to create. hope you like it! Day 72: The Finale 🌿🌟 It’s finally time. My very first grow is coming to an end—at least the cultivation phase. The plant is now ready for harvest, and I can’t believe how incredible this journey has been. I never expected to enjoy the whole process so much—from nurturing the plants to watching them grow and evolve. I’m absolutely hooked and can’t wait to dive into the next steps: harvesting, drying, curing, and of course, starting a new grow soon with fresh ideas and experiments! While it may not be the largest yield, the quality of the buds speaks for itself. The time, love, and care I’ve put into this grow is visible, and I’m pretty proud of the results. I’ll admit, I was a bit impatient at times (which I think every first-timer can relate to 😅), but the experience was priceless. Here are a few interesting highlights from my trimming and harvest process: 1️⃣ Dark Phase Before Harvest Two days before harvest, I put the plant in complete darkness to encourage resin production. I'm not sure if it really made a difference, but it was worth trying! 2️⃣ Wet Trim vs. Dry Trim I decided to go for a wet trim because the buds were really dense, and I wanted to avoid any risk of mold. I’ve read that wet trimming can speed up drying and may slightly impact the quality, but this is part of the learning experience. Next time, I’ll try a dry trim for comparison! 3️⃣ Yield Update Wet, the total came in at 209 grams from my plant. Trimming took around three hours, and it was actually a lot of fun, despite the time commitment. 4️⃣ Curing Plan The buds are now hanging in the tent for about 8 days. Once dried, they’ll go into jars with Boveda Packs (62% humidity) for another 3 weeks of curing. I'll update the smoke report once they’re fully cured, but I’ve already had a sample of the same strain from a friend, and I can say it’s pretty amazing. Final Thoughts on My Grow 🌱✨ As mentioned earlier, this grow has been an absolutely incredible experience, and it has definitely set me on a path to jump right into my next grow. There were ups and downs along the way, such as over-pruning, which I believe stressed the plants a bit. Additionally, I think they could have benefited from an extra week to mature. We also faced many temperature fluctuations this summer, which impacted the plants due to external weather conditions. I’m really pleased with the quality of the buds. The quantity is okay—I can’t fully gauge it yet—but I’m sure there’s more potential to unlock. I’ve gained valuable experience in what worked well and what didn’t. Overall, the countless lessons learned during this grow far outweigh the few mistakes made. I’m incredibly proud of my first results! Now we are going to week four, the plants have started to really vegetate, I have seen rapid growth in cannabis and other plants before, however, this strain is growing very large at a tremendous pace. I am having no issues so far, I am doing very light training and I started using pH down, as the plants ingest the nutrients the pH is rapidly rising. I hope to preserve perfect pH within the next week and continue on. I have been adding a gallon of water every three days to keep the reservoir at the right level. The plants are receiving a constant PPM of 400. Not only am I seeing five-finger leaves but I am also seeing seven-finger leaves. The plants are looking very healthy and there are no issues at all so far. I have Started to train the plants and started mainlining, I have also slightly defoliated the plant. This Plant is overgrowing the free seed from seedsmen. ( in hindsight I have never gotten any good free seeds from seedsmen) Science: There are a few ideas in this grow journal that I am toying with. The first idea is putting low-voltage conduction through the roots of the plants, I strongly believe that stimulating the the roots with electricity will induce larger and stronger vegetation. The other idea is blasting the plants with low decibel sound waves. We will see. There is another idea I have with string LED lights. However, I'm going to keep some of my secret sauce to myself.
