Here's an update on a new week of vegetative growth for this beautiful Strawberry Cola Sherbet from Sweet Seeds, which is developing quite well, although I had to interrupt fertilization due to a small root blockage, a mineral buildup because the pH meter has been miscalibrated for some strange reason and I had to water at least twice with an incorrect pH, which has caused the plant to be unable to absorb these minerals. I have already watered with distilled water, adjusting the pH to 6.0. I hope it will return to normal within a week and I will fertilize again gradually, as I expect it to bloom in 1 or 2 weeks. 5/8/2023 - Day 71: Start to week 11, and this will be the final week. Watered again today with 4 gallons mixed with Coconut Powder. I'm getting close to 5% to 10% amber, so I am just about where I want to be. I plan to chop them this weekend, which will put me at day 76 or 77. The two Grand Prix could probably go I bit longer, but the Ice Bath and Frozen White Runtz need to come down. 5/12/2023 - Day 75 Flower: chopping in two more days. Dropped the temps a bit more and turned the light down one more. Normally I'd be watering, but I'm just going to let them ride it out until the end.

This week will be day 56 on a very good grow. The girls seems to be happy in their environment . Both plant are growing at a fast rate . But the Power plant fem have been growing taller with no real pistol showing . The strawberry banana auto seems to grow wider. And is in an early flowering stage Still have some small amount of yellowing of leaf 🍁 tips on both plants nothing major . The strawberry 🍓 banana 🍌 auto has a glorious smell coming from it now mmhmm it’s also not the same smell twice 🤷‍♂️ but it smells great . No major issue so far the girls seem to be going strong 💪 . Also been doing some light defoliating of fan leaves I may top the power plant she’s getting to tall . May need to do more defoliating on the strawberry 🍓 banana 🍌 auto since the buds are coming in a lot more rapidly.

Start week 4 , Bio Grow 2 ml/L + Alg-A-Mic 1 ml/L + Sensi Cal-Mag Xtra 1.5 ml/L (Ph 6.3).

Runts might be small, but it's got a big personality. It's the second biggest seedling I have so far, and those leaves – they're totally unique. Runts is growing like a champ, and I have a feeling it's going to be the star of the show this year. Last week was awesome! I finally got around to giving all my plants a little upgrade – I repotted them into some bigger homes. They're all looking so happy and healthy now, it's crazy. I can't wait to see how much they grow this year!

They seem to have packed on some decent size this week which I’m glad to see but the trichome production leaves a little to be desired. Some of the lower buds look more frosty than the top buds which seems weird to me but I don’t really know that much lol. My ph runoff has been a little low which I think has to do with the molasses I gave them which wasn’t blackstrap which I think raises ph. Anyways, next watering will be with about 7.0 until my runoff corrects, it could explain the yellowing leaves as well. But the runoff is 6.1-6.3 which shouldn’t be that big an issue so it could be something else but I’m so close to the end messing around too much is probably not the best thing to do. Hopefully my pictures and videos are a little better this week at least! Enjoy and hit me up in the comments if you have any tips!

I now see how fast these plants can grow when giving good conditions to grow in, and unlimited water and nutrients.

I did the paper towel thing and the sprouted after 72hours so I place them gently in cups and placed them in my germination tray under 16/8 ts600 Mars hydro led lighting

I am excited to try out this new gorilla cookies from fastbuds. I originally started this setup to compete in the solo cup challenge, but I needed something that will be minimal maintainence and doesn't require hand watering. So this is what I ended up with. I will not be entering since I know it will bring controversy, but I am going to follow the rules and treat this grow as if I am competing. I didn't want to use regular solo cups because last time I had a lot of algae growing in the root zone when I harvested. I opted to use a black light proof cup. These cups were 27 oz originally so I filled them with 16 oz of water, marked the level, then cut them down to 16 oz. I set the drain pipes about an inch from the bottom so they have a little reserve if I have pump or power issues. I know people will see the drains as a way for roots to grow out of the cup but in reality I have to keep the entire pipe free of roots or it will clog and overflow. So I am actually losing a little volume due to this. I filled the bottom inch or so of the cups with river gravel to stop the perlite from washing into the reservoir. I am running a 5 gallon reservoir with a small air pump and the plants will be getting irritated 24 hours a day from an aquarium power head pump. I set the system up to be totally self contained and easily portable. It was all built from things I had laying around other than 97¢ for the cups. I will be keeping the feed simple as always feeding maxigro and maxibloom with a couple flower boosters.
