At the end of week 6 the Blue Dream is holding up. Unfortunately the lady has not bloomed the way she was supposed to due to a lack of the essential nutrients, with that being said she is still blooming considerably. The calyxes are continuing to swell and signs of bud formation. The pistols are beginning to dull. The blue dream has grown 5 cm this week and now she’s using her energy to complete her bloom stage standing at approximately 90cm tall.

Get back on track since I was busy. Now I flip them to 12/12 this weekend 18/06/23 I got report from my friend who grew the Dante and OSDxPablo from the same package of mine that half of them turn to Hermies I am thinking to cut some of the out soon as the show the sex if some of them in my grow tent be hermie

8/5 (Day 49)- The start of a new week! Last few days have been a little rough and I have unfortunately been unable to keep up the post. Dealing with a back injury so it’s been difficult just to keep up with the feedings. We are looking pretty good though and starting to feel a bit better. The last few days I’ve been slowly but surely trying to get a good defoliation in which I feel was needed very badly. Opened up a lot of place for light and airflow. Messing with the back left plant and OMG my hands got sticky quick! I leaned in for a close smell and all I can think of when I smell is candy, a very sweet smelling candy. It shocked me how sweet and yummy the smell was. All conditions for the environment are stable and kept in check. The girls are taking down 4-5 gallons a day now. Will continue to update this week. Thanks! 8/6 (Day 50)- Just monitored and checked in on everything today. Starting to feel better so not too worried about the change out in the morning. Gonna up the light and ppms a bit tomorrow then monitor very close the next few days. I think they should be good. Everything staying in check. 8/7 (Day 51)- Changed res and new fresh food for the ladies. I increased light power a little as well as PPMs. Going to monitor next few days, then when my back is 100% gonna do one last round of defoliation and trimming as well as put up the trellis net. I know it’s a bit late but the two plants on the right may need it. 8/8 (Day 52) - Just have been monitoring and refilling the res today. They are drinking 4-5 gallons a day. I also did a light light defoliation. I will be going through in the next day or so to do a bit more in depth defoliation to open up for more light and air. These girls grow and recover so fast. 8/9 (Day 53)- The two plants on the right are continuing to stretch quite a bit! The left plants seem to be short bushier plants, also im very sure I could have easily dont something to stunt them and not realize, but they seem to be pretty darn healthy. Did some defoliation, I've honestly been plucking leaves here and there everyday and focusing specifically on a plant when I feel it gets too bushy. They bounce back very quickly so that has been my method along with tying some branches down and bending here and there. 8/10 (Day 54) - Wow that back right girl is really growing. She has really been stretching the last two days. Just monitoring and adding to the res every so often. They are continuing to drink 4-5 gallons a day and all conditions stay in check. I did move one fan to get more airflow through the bottom of the canopy. I feel like I have constantly been moving things around this grow, trying to get a feel of what's best for the plants. As always, tips and recommendations appreciated!

I am dry trimming this run so I will let you no on the results but I think its going to be a good harvest

These Blue dream matic Autos are gonna be some absolute monsters! Here we are at 37 days and were sitting at almost a week into flower, qnd the plants are over 17 inches tall. Looking at a great yielding strain here! Starting to get a good amount of smell to them! Super healthy plants, and super heavy stalks. First round of nutrients came at 35 days. They were moved to the hps at 32 days. General hydro, flora trio at 5ml each per gallon. They EXPLODED overnight. This week, i will begin some light lst and defoliation. Also, this week I will be hanging my brand new HLG Diablo 650R. These 5 blue dreams will be moved from the hps to the Diablo.

Germinated then placed into her 20 Litre airpot with fresh compost.

I use the Airdome combined with an airstone. I covered half of the airdome with coco, and the remaining half with clay pebbles. The rest of the 18L pot filled with the coco mix, and the plants. I gave both plants a 1.5L topfeed, and into the tent they go! The light is at 70% strength, with a distance of 60 cm. 19-2 Temperature: 25.7 degrees (lights on) 20.4 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 64% (highest) 45% (lowest) Watering: None. Light strength reduced to 60% 20-2 Temperature: 25.4 degrees (lights on) 20 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 64% (highest) 50% (lowest) Watering: None. There is something weird going on with the leaves of the Chemdog #1.

8/21/24. Going into week 8 flower Are we there yet? Haha.. no. Day 57 out of stated 70. 13 days? Hmmm I don’t know. I thought she might go longer than that, BUT now I think it’ll be less. I suspect another week and she’ll be ready. Appearance wise, I’d say she’s pretty much there.. trichomes say other wise. Still quite a bit of clear with the start of milky coming. It’s all gonna be about ripening now. Water/fed her today. She’s yellowing heavily or I would have already stopped. I’m guessing this is just her type of fade. No real colors going other than yellow. Maybe that’s because she’s a banana 😄 I increased the light to 80% a couple days ago just to be a pushy bitch. I’ll decrease it way down to probably about 40-50% in a few days because I like to do that when they’re finishing up to help bring temperature down and I think it makes them wrap it up. These pictures don’t do justice to the fatness of these buds. They’re obese and not ashamed. Body positivity with this girl. Somehow some of the buds have suicided. Aka jumped out of their spot in the trellis and tried to hit the floor. I can’t do anything about it really. Can’t reach them and can’t be bothered. Smell? Skunky rotten fruity…idk. And coffee? Divine jelly has some really pretty leaves and some super thick stems. Some of the smaller branch’s I cut off because the main 4 were so much taller and thicker. Ok structure But I’m looking for strains that stack a lot better

Unfortunately, this week I have overwatered her as I was going on vacation and a bit over protective and because of that I can see wilted leaves and brown spots. I left it to dry for 3-4 days and now I can see some new green leaves showing up. Sep 2nd: I can see that she is becoming healthier now and the green leaves are taking over

So this is the wens of the week now going into, thought the heat will die down but now heat wave pending 😭 Plants looking good nice fade stratong to really put on some weight, properly should of deflated better but been so busy I've just been keep the environment down and them watered as I top dressed last week and will leave it at that and just rain water from now. They smell very strong I've added another extractor and a purifier, smelling sweet with a lovely back not of that sour gass very funny. I've kept them at 1000par through as I'm all about that flavour may let them go abit harder and drop an hr lights time to ripen up better. Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil.
