Grow Journal Week 7: Final Phases 🌸 Hello dear growers and growerettes, I apologize for the delay in updating, but the last few weeks have been chaotic with many things on my plate. However, I finally managed to find some free time, and here’s the update for Week 7: Weekly Progress My ladies are now in the final phase of their bloom. Unfortunately, the plant on the left has started to deteriorate a bit. However, I am confident we will get all the plants safely to the finish line and achieve a fabulous harvest. The phenos smell amazing and each has unique traits, which I find fantastic. Challenges Due to the recent chaos, maintaining a consistent schedule has been challenging. However, I'm back on track and closely monitoring everything to ensure we reach the best possible outcome. Goals and Expectations I plan to make some adjustments for the next grow, but let’s see what we can achieve with this one. Started 8 seeds (friend’s hermed a deimos and got seeds and gave me) at a wet towell paper and moved to a basic garden soil that i had at home. Transfered 5 to 1.5Liter pots 50% peat moss 50% perlite with 0 EC and got stunted at the start for 1 and a half month and at week 14 transfered 3 of them at larger pots as described and kept one of the remaining 1.5Liter pot. Watering with just water until i flip to flower because of recent transfer to rich soil. one of the transplanted to bigger pots was stuck for 2 months and then turned out to become a "monster cropped" plant without aplying any techniques to achieve this condition, after stunt started growing in multiple directions. 07/16/2023 - flipped to 12/12 light. 07/17/2023 - fed with 0.5 ml/L biobizz bio-bloom / 0.5 ml/L biobizz top max / 0.5 ml/L biobizz bio-heaven - 225 PPM. lower than indicated dosage because organic soil still has some stored to spare. bigger one - 700 ml monster crop one - 500ml the other one - 700ml 07/18/2023 - sprayed neem oil after lights off as a pest preventive. 07/20/2023 - fed with biobizz line: 0,4 ml/L bio-grow 0,4 ml/L bio-bloom, 0,4 ml/L top max, 0,3ml/L bio-heaven and 0,4ml/L alg-a-mic. still lower dosage than indicated by biobizz because no signs of deficiency and soil seems to be full of nutes still. bigger one - 500ml monster crop - 300ml the other - 500ml 7/21/2023 - im sure i miscalculated number of plants x grow area and im having some space problems. As a try to fix this i removed a quite large number of leafs that was covering some bud spots.

The beautiful mutant is turning out to be a very special one. The buds are the stickiest in the tent, and she is full of them! I can't wait to try these lovely fruits. She's dealing very well with the heat we have.

Gu Guys, she is continuing to develop as she should, however doesn't seem to be stretching all to much even with lower light intensities. I have therefore decided to push the ppfd to roughly 600 and let her finish her pre flower, no matter if she will fill the entire scrog or not. the roots are bit stained, however, this seems to be nutrient related, no slime or smelly roots thus far and it seems like she is constantly shooting out new ones from the net pot. She is going to be a nice little bonsai bush :)

So, things are going great. The RO water change left me with a nice sterile clean res. The plants are loving the lighter feeding and it shows. Eternity Grow Cup - Week 11 VEG Report This is a pivotal week in our Eternity Grow Cup journey as we wrap up VEG and prepare to transition into FLOWER. Our goal has been to ensure that the plants are thriving and optimized for the next phase. This report will detail everything that took place during this crucial week. Mass Defoliation & Structural Training We began the week with an extensive defoliation session. Every leaf with a stem was removed to clear space for optimal light penetration and airflow. This process was done mostly by hand, clicking them off in the opposite direction of growth, while some stubborn ones were snipped with scissors. By the end, it felt like we had taken out nearly half a kilo of leaves! The room now looks clean, structured, and ready to fill out the ScroggNet. To further enhance the plant structure, branches were attached to the pots, allowing for better horizontal growth. This technique helps maximize canopy exposure and prepares the plants for even light distribution once flowering begins. Defoliation before flowering is a key step as it reduces overcrowding, improves airflow, and sets the plants up for efficient energy use in the next phase. Light Schedule & Adjustments This week, we introduced a subtle but effective light adjustment. While still maintaining an 18-hour light cycle, we initiated a 15-minute delay with the whites, allowing the reds to start first. This gradual shift signals the plants that a change is coming. Similarly, at the end of the light cycle, the whites turn off 15 minutes earlier, leaving the reds on for an extended period. This strategy mimics natural sunrise and sunset, helping the plants transition more smoothly into flowering. Additionally, at the end of the week, we will be implementing 48 hours of darkness before the official flip to flower. This method has worked exceptionally well in past grows, helping plants recognize the transition and encouraging a strong start to flowering. However, it's important to emphasize that this is a personal technique and not a universal rule. Every grower should experiment with different methods to find what works best for their specific environment. Environmental Conditions & Challenges Currently, our temperature is at 27°C with 60% humidity, resulting in a VPD of 1.50. While slightly higher than the ideal for VEG, our CO2 levels are over 1000 ppm, and the light intensity is at 570 PPFD, making it a manageable balance. The solution pH is 5.79 (essentially 5.8), EC is 1.38, and water temperature is 17.7°C. One challenge we are facing is maintaining optimal reservoir temperatures. Currently, it's a bit low at 17.7°C, and we are exploring solutions to raise it slightly. However, the medium temperature sits at 22.2°C, which is a good range. The humidifier is still in use, though it struggles to increase humidity further, so we are working with what we have to keep the VPD in check. ICL-300s Integration The ICL-300 lights are now fully active. Unlike the last grow, where we introduced them later, this time they are on from the start of flowering prep. This adjustment is an experiment to see if the plants respond better to an early introduction. Learning is at the core of this journey, and each grow offers new insights. Whether this proves to be the optimal strategy or not, it will be a valuable lesson for future grows.
