Que pasa familia, vamos con la cosecha de estas Gorilla Melon de FastBuds. Por dónde empezar, las flores son bien compactas y van repletas de resina son muy pegajosas, tienen tonos verdes bonitos, y tiene unos aromas dulces y exóticos bastante marcados con toques terrosos. Es muy sencilla de cultivar, es de ciclo de 2 meses y medio, pero bien agradecida, tiene buenos satélites, de las que plante de fastbuds, podría decir que mi favorita hasta el momento. Hasta aquí todo, Buenos humos 💨💨💨

Se van a la última semana de vegetación. 🌲🌱 Las estamos recuperando de un estrés debido al exceso de agua en el sustrato, a 🇨🇱 ya llego el invierno y está costando más secar la tierra para volver a regar 🍂🏔️🏔️🏔️🌧️

I missed to take some fotos ore a video. So I chooses to show where the soil is made: in Comfreys garden. Unfortunately I‘m not allowed to grow there my weed. It‘s a community garden with privat owned ground but with a lot of neighbors. The German law allows to grow cannabis in your own garden for private use but not in a private garden situated in a community garden club (Kleingartenverein). But anyway I’m lucky because we have a very sunny balcony, too. Next week more fotos…

I defoliated the lower branches and added some more top layer soil for her continued growth in veg...no feeding for her this week await her spoil to dry out after 2 weeks of non stop rain glad she pulled through without showing sighs of drowning.

Day 5 since time change to 12/12. Hey everyone ☺️. Finally the time has come :-) The lady moved into the flower tent on January 6th, 2021 😁. The day before, of course, a cutting was taken 👍. In the flowering tent, the distance between the plant and the lamp is 40 cm so that she can get used to the strength of the lamp. After 3-5 days I go down to 30 cm. This week it was watered twice with 1 l per plant. GHSC enhancers were added to one wash :-). Flower fertilizer will only be added in 12-16 days as soon as the first blossoms are there :-). Otherwise the tent was completely cleaned and the humidifier refilled. For the next few days I have filled fresh osmosis water in canisters again :-). Next week I will remove the bottom shoots so that the energy doesn't end up going into small popcorn buds 😉. There is nothing more to report this week and I wish you all a lot of fun with the update 😀. I started germination of 1 orange sherbert bean on 29/12/2020. I pre moistened my rockwool cubes with ph balanced water to 6.4. Made sure the plug was just damp and not soaked. Using a small wooden dowel I increased the size of the plugs pre made hole. Than I sowed my bean into the hole. Ripped off a small piece of rockwool and mulched it up. Lightly filled the hole in with the mulched rockwool. Than stuck the plug into a misted humidity dome, to complete germination. Shouldn't take anymore than 4-5 days to see a sprout. Once I see some cotlydon leaves bursting to the surface. I will get the plug planted into some 1 gallon pots. Plus get this lady situated into her home. Cant wait! Some Background information on history with Orange Sherbert. I have grown orange sherbert out 3 times and all times had the same result. A shorter extremely branchy robust plant. That dominated the room. Loves training and really ups yeilds doing so. She produces an amazing canopy... just a sea of daggers. Her huge chunky colas pack and amazing orange tangy aroma and just taste like heavenly candy! Barneys Farm hit the nail on the head with this variety! She tends to have a little higher demand for potassium mid flower than most varieties. So a bit heavier on the pk booster and she will be mighty happy! Just a fabulous strain to work with.

!! A genetic mutation appears! flower tip look odd and the stem is flat but no weird sprout on it. Only one stem is affected. Some other LST done. CO2 decreased to 1000 for saving some co2. I don't think I have enough power to use all of that CO2. Plant is growing really well. There's only a small concern about some worms at the bottom of the pot. I need to check it further. To be sure anyway I have planned an irrigation with neem Oil just for precaution.

I can see this strain having a great yield and quality potential with consistent optimal conditions, but haven’t found it the most resistant to any nutrient and ph imbalance or fluctuations.

This week marked the final chapter of this journey. After 17 days of sunny, dry conditions, the sudden return of damp, humid weather and low airflow triggered internal bud rot (Botrytis) deep inside the main cola. Despite regular inspections and careful care, it developed rapidly in the dense core. I removed the affected top to stop further spread, but it was clear — nature had made her decision. The plant gave her all and was already in the final ripening stage, so I’m grateful for what she produced. Lesson of the week: Even outdoor autoflowers can fall victim to mould late in flower, especially in humid coastal climates like Ramsgate. Next time, I’ll cover my plants during the final weeks to protect from dew, humidity, and stagnant moisture. Big thanks to FastBuds for a strong and impressive cultivar — this was a powerful pheno with excellent structure, trichome coverage, and strong medicinal aroma. The genetics were solid; this was simply a weather issue. Every grow teaches us something. Grateful for the ride.

So this and last week was all about dialing and maintaining temperature and humidity.. It's been quite hard to get the precise temperature and humidity because my growing closet is packed...My Gawd.. So she finally has Milky Trichs between the middle of her... The one thing that I wanted to test... So as I mentioned my closet is stacked lol so I decided to Chop off her 2 main Colas..Unfortunately I think my Grow light was placed too close to her canopy.. Which caused the two Main Colas trichomes to turn about 30% amber.. So this is a good trial to see if this will cause the smaller collas to fatten.. Keeping fingers crossed 🤞 🔀

The girls started to pre-flower on the 6th of June. They all have a slight smell when you rub the leaves. Kosher cake, Strawberry banana and the Forbidden runtz have a sweet smell to them. The Forbidden runtz reminds me of the smell of skywalker OG which is totally LUSH..!! The blackberry has more of an deep earthy smell with a slight bit of fruitiness. Super excited for the next few weeks with these ladies. Happy toking my peeps 😁

Die Pflanzen haben deutlich mehr Durst. Eine halbe Stunde nach ihrem Sonnenaufgang sind sie zweimal in Folge sehr trocken gewesen. Die Spitzen der Stempel an einigen Blüten haben sich leicht braun gefärbt. Daher die Wassergabe jetzt auf 3,5l Täglich erhöht. 2,5l eine halbe Stunde nach "Sonnenaufgang" mit normaler Düngung und ca 5h später nochmals 1l jedoch mit halber Dünger Dosis.
