Hello one and all , happy growing. This week I switched to bloom nutes and the girls have reacted well. The Shogun line up has worked a treat , with no issues since the beginning. There have been a few amputees ,as my mainlining adventures have taken me down the broken-stem-rabbit hole. As many of you know these are resilient creatures and have bounced back but not without a major loss of yield , come harvest. I’m at odds with myself as I find it almost impossible NOT to try LST/HST/ tying down etc. Something has to give and eventually I’ll have to be surgical with my treatment of my beauties. I originally had applied to Green House Seed Co.'s Taste of the USA Contest here on Grow Diaries. Turns out I was ineligible but the good folks at GHS still had the big hearts to send me seeds anyway. So big ups to them for hooking this grower up. Welcome to the Sea of Fire 🔥 For this grow were using the Dark Phoenix seeds that GHS sent to me to create a Sea of Green. I've got 8 plants in 8 1L pots. I've decided to use Black Swallow's living soil for this grow so we won't need to add anything but water for the first 3 weeks or so. Our goal for this grow is to have these girls ready for harvest in about 20 weeks which will bring us to the beginning of November 2021. If all goes according to plan these firey buds should be filling my friends stockings this Christmas.

Any pointers and tips would be greatly appreciated👏 Soo the girls are doing great done a little lst and neem oil applied last night for pest prevention I wanted to bend down their main stems and do a little hst but unfortunately their main stemsare waaaay to thick for it, I'll add some pics later Ok and as for feeding we are following the advanced nutrients feeding schedule, no more pirahna for now I have measured EC and PPM this time but i need to go find my notes will add it into this weeks diary Ok that's it for now I've got another time lapse running so I'll add that one later today too!

Began with equal parts of GH at a very diluted concentration. This week, I increased the concentration to the manufacturer's recommended dosage for seedlings (1/4 tsp per gallon).

The plant took off this week. I am relatively new so was working through getting my PH measuring/balancing down. Now that I have established a better method the plant responded well. Put in a scrog to help even the canopy for the future. The other plant I have running is a bubblegum autoflower that is a few weeks older (right). Personally I really loved the look of the gold leaf at this point, it had a very nice spiral look to it almost like an xmas wreath.

We have our AK-47 running in a water pitcher lol. Honestly because i wanted to try a transplant and wanted to see the roots develop on Autoflowers. Also, we were out of planting pots when we transplanted. 😬🤦‍♂️ The pitcher is filled with Fox Farms Happy Frog soil. So far AK-47 is very fast. Transplant didnt stunt her at all. этот сорт супер,он выдерживает все жару, холод, lst ,hst ,super cropping я делал все что мог,вывод такой что не трогайте авто сорта,пусть растут себе )))) 314 г но ребята он без воды стоял больше суток в гидропонике в темноте,так что он за сутки немного подсох,так что я не могу сказать что было вчера на весах когда я я отключил гидропонику и оставил на сутки в темноте без воды, на фотке видно что листья уже упали,так что было больше! будем ждать когда высохнут 😉 ну вот ребята что вышло )) 62 сухих, вкус и запах соответствуют описанию,я не могу в точности передать вкус,но очень вкусный! это растение получило очень много стрессов,я всем советую!!!!

7/6/2021 - Trimmed lower fan leaves as they were being blocked completely, and a few tips were yellowing. - Continuing to lightly bend the upper branches so the lowers can catch up. - Bought some Gaia Green veg + bloom dry fertilizers as I expect I'll be flipping to flower soon. 7/7/2021 - Watered in a little bit of Gaia Green's veg fertilizer. - Foliar fed w/ DIY kelp extract. - Yellowing/browing on a new leaf, can't identify what it is. - Staked down the branches on the upper mains this evening to open her up for more light penetration, she was gettin' real bushy. 7/9/2021 - Trimmed out middle to expose canopy

Day 70- On Flush, buds getting HUGE. And some hints of purpling from the top. So much frost on this girl it’s so damn sticky. There was a gnat stuck to the wall of the tent bc she is so sticky... 🔥😎 The Christmas Video was so much fun to shoot. Got the wifey into too, was really a great family affair. I have little to add that I haven't already said. These plants in particular grew from start to finish in 0.50l pots, produced nearly a pound of wet grass and about 30 dry grass overall. Not much, but it was as I expected, the smaller the pot, the lower the yield.

This cycle was all along a great pleasure. The plants developed MUCH BETTER THAN EXPECTED, the result under the Q6W-Gen. 2 LED lamps from SANlight is FANTASTIC. I have NEVER harvested more from plants of the same strain under HPS and the quality of the bud (trichomes, taste aroma) is MUCH BETTER when grown under LED, my decision is definitely made, I will continue to solemnly grow with LED-lights in the future. I harvested 2250 gram of Shiva Skunk and 3009 gram of Serious Kush, that a total amount of 5259 gram. In relation to the 3000 Watts (incl. dimmed part!) power of the LED-lights thats an AMAZING 1,753 gram per Watt.

The leaves are starting to fade and the shortest of the three has had her pistils start to turn and is getting dense while putting on weight. They have that “northern lights” aroma that is a personal favorite of mine. It’s time for the fox farms beastie bloomz for a week or two.

Managed to sex out the males this week, especially since the girls were putting out some pre-flower pistils. Moved others around a little using my potato fork and now everyone is in a much better spacing. Bummer that 2 out of 3 were males, but that's ok! The ladies that are left will have more room to stretch. I gave them a little Big Bloom and some molasses.

Had a hell of a week with Blue Dream 2. In the previous week I had added some molasses to the nutrient solution, 2 of the 3 plants took very well to it. However Blue Dream 2 got a real bad case of root rot. I ended up having to trim up the roots, and do a hard rinse on them. I flushed a bit with Hydrogen Peroxide and then let it soak in a resevoir with nothing but hydroguard for 36 hours. The other two had a small outbreak, but nothing near Blue Dreams 2. All in all a few days later she has recovered. Thats the biggest reason I added the tomato cages, blue dream 2, with weak stems already (got to find a silica supplement next run) she couldn't hold up the buds. After she recovered I just put the cages around all 3. I want to say 2 more weeks, but am still super green to all this, I'll post pics of the buds and tell me what you guys think. Cheers
