Week 8 - Defoliating - I Know You May Be Thinking I’m Overdoing It But When The Stems On The Leaf Turns Purple That’s An Indication That For Some/Most Plate That It Can Be Plucked Off.

* Week 6 Flower Mimosa (1 -2) - 10/8* Both Mimosa's are near harvest about a week left, Lotus CarboFlush will begin this week. Mimosa (1) - 38 Inches - Mimosa (2) - 28 Inches. Trichomes have set in - Pulled off trellis net this week * Pre-Harvest set-up - 10/15* Both plants have been cut down and are drying out accordingly (Day -1) Dry time will be 9-14 days - Dry temps are 60% Humidity - 62 degrees F.

Day 64 (August 19): so the blumats are gone now. I found they didn’t work great with too dressing because the majority of the top dressing doesn’t get soaked. So I’m watering from a can now. Added worm Castings and Power Bloom 2-8-4 for their last feeding! Day 66: By using the AC unit, I’ve been able to get the temps down to exactly where I want them. Sitting at about 76 degrees and 50% humidity. Things are getting FROSTY Day 67: temps are good, humidity is good. These ladies are thriving. They got a good soak today with PH’d water. Should last them a couple days. Day 69: Brought the lights down to 18”. Really trying to maximize the light output on these girls. They’re getting frosty 👊🏼

Heeeere we go! Sorry for the late update! This is when I start the flush! I believe the plants are pretty much ready at this point and doing this will just improve the final product! Doing this took me a good chunk of time, mostly because I didn't know exactly how much of water I was going to need (it was a loooot 😫) and how hard/tiring it was to pH it as well. In the end my calculations were off, as I needed far more water than what I had (lol) so I didn't manage to do a full flush... but I still managed to lower the amount of salts and residues to a "decent" level (around 850 to 1500 ppm). I also used flawless finish so I suppose than even when I didn't use enough water that solution alone was enough to help! Besides that the rest of the week was quite calm and relaxing. The plants continue to kick ass. New French Macaron and Chem Brulee leaves are all 9-fingered now. Crazy happy plants. Sprayed with light BT spray (trying to avoid any caterpillar issues this year as much as possible) early in the week. Sprayed with light Neem Oil / Castile Soap (no more dawn, no more issues!) late in the week. Today, June 9, I also defoliated a bit. Keep in mind that I don't want to do much this year as far as topping and training, so I've done one simple top on all of the plants, and essentially have created 4 main colas for each plant. I only did this to create some airflow under the plant. I don't plan on doing a lot of this stuff. Gonna let the sunshine do her thing. Even though these girls have some hot-ass super soil in there, I'm still going to be doing some top-dressing. Mixed this up and slathered it on there on Saturday, June 12. ------

Plants are all transplanted. Lost a couple to rodents but these were all free seeds and clones so I’m not too worried

So the grow cycle was pretty easy. I work away from home and I sometimes have to leave for 4 days in a row. Before I'd leave for the four days I'd just add 4-6 cups of RO water with some Cal-Mag. When I can back she was always bigger and didn't have any problems. I was lazy this time and never checked the PH of the water. This strain is pretty resilient so props to sweet seeds. I decided not to LST this plant, it was a little taller than I wanted but grew in a nice shape. I still cant believe how purple this strain is. I started to get foxtailing on the top bud not sure what would cause that. Once again sorry for the lack of pictures. I'll let you know the smoke report later.

I thought I just had two of this strain, but it turns out that the 134g plant was actually a C4 hybrid! It isn't as pungent smelling as the others, but seems to have it's own unique flavor going on. I like it! 115g - C4ndycaine [Candy Cane x C4] 134g - C4ndycaine [Candy Cane x C4] 151g - C4ndycaine [Candy Cane x C4]  TOTAL: 400g 👍

The bud sites are filling in quickly, excited to see how they develop further. Smooth sailing, easy fun grow. Got a little over 13" tall. Super short, curious to see how much yield she gets.
