This Strawberry Banana is really taking off!! She has a few rust spots so I flushed last night and just fed her some cal-mag, well see how she does. Her buds are really really starting to stack up.

Tropicanna Ppison XL Auto- Outside W6F4 8/3-9 I wish I could share this week’s weather with you. It was sunny and comfortable in the 70-80s with 50% humidity. This means that whatever the temperature is, the air feels like it, not 10-15 degrees hotter. My Tropicanna Poison is short under 3 feet and has a good node spacing so there is space for air flow. The buds forming don’t have many hairs yet but the trichomes forming on the sugar leaves are visible. Looking at the bud structure, the leaves are tight throughout. This may be a concern for bud rot if the rain and humidity return. I’ll keep a close watch, but so far, she is easy to grow and resistant to fungus and pests. I chose this strain a year or two ago and had not had the opportunity to grow it yet. This strain is from SweetSeeds red line and 85% of the seeds produce reds and pinks. The girls are finishing strong 💪 Smells are incredible, frost is frosty… the colours are amazing, lots of deep red, purples ❤️ I’m watching daily now, looking with my wireless hand held microscope , it makes it pretty easy to determine when I want to harvest. Typically I wait for 10-15 % amber, but I think I will try to harvest this with mostly cloudy. I’ve learned that he plant will continue the process, even after the plant has been cut down. No nutes this week, and the plant has been continuing to use up its leftovers. My PPM runoff has been very low after watering, right where I want to be, doing this method in the past has allowed me to to keep nutrients going for them, and not have to cut off in week 6 or later. Just a gradual tapering, until I am able to run straight phd water for at least 2-4 feeds before harvest. They are very close and will be coming down within the next 7 days

found a small bud rot site, we had to remove the whole cluster around, and sanitise with alcohol.

Last week was very challenging, two girls got really tall below the white light, while the other two below the blurple spectrum ended up being smaller and bushier, both looking fantastic. Last week I also probably went too far defoliating the shaded smaller girl which stunned it a bit for a day or two but its flowering vigorously again. Although the unexpected stretch which led to uneven light coverage overally the platns are looking solid, smelly and sugary :)

Flush time! I don't pump loads of water through each pot any more, now they're sitting on a tray without drainage. I've found feeding non ph'd water in the same amounts I've been giving them throughout still allows them to cannibalise, locking out any nutrients immediately now they're being given non ph'd water. I've done this for long enough to be able to confirm no difference in the overall flush, the taste or smell, or a negative impact on the plants. Personally I find it a waste of time and ph down when the goal is to stop them feeding on the nutrients in the medium, but rather the nutrients stored in the plant. I always feed only water for 2-3 weeks, never less. The Runtz are swelling, with huge cola's on some of them. Even the little Runtz runts have stacked well and getting thick! Unfortunately only getting an earthy, piney smell from all of them. Was expecting a nice strong fruity profile, so a bit disappointed. The huge flowers make up for it a bit, but I do prefer a more tastier smoke, I can't deny! 🦊

The plant continue to grow incredibly strong and fast from now on I well slow down on grow nutrientes cuz the leaves are very dark green and we are well into flowering meaning they don't need that much not nitrogen anymore. Thank you for reading I will continue to update have a happy grow.

Day 50, 5th of November 2020: Fucking hell in the second video i just broke the tray LOL.... Anyways... The lamp has been switchet to 12/12 for 4 days from now she is streching and has a nice smell :) No training needed just waiting.... Fertilization happens more often like every 2nd day and more of the BioBizz family raised up to be 2ml/L haha ;) Bye.
