2/3 plants doing good. 1 plant however has a calcium defficiency showing as orange spots on 2 of the fan leaves.i have added 2 ml of cal mag in with their new nutrient feeds to help offset. I have been watering normally without nutes for the first 3-4 weeks. The defficiency has resulted from me using soft tap water which contains very little calcium. Since adding, no new spots have appeared so fingers crossed Only using half reccomended dose of nutrients at this point to ease them In to feeding

I now see how fast these plants can grow when giving good conditions to grow in, and unlimited water and nutrients.

October is ending and her days are numbered. I can’t tell if it’s a potassium deficiency or just the fade so I gave one final tea. I’m loving the purple hues on this particular phenotype. Pests have reduced drastically when u spray off the plant with plain water in the early morning sun at least once a week. Chopped on September 30th.This has been a great run and I can’t wait to grow this cultivar again.

So far so fantastic for these little girls, they are well on their way and have had a great week. Our White Russian is in beautiful form, her growth is tight and though she is small there is much going on. Fractal is a tiny girl but she is stunning, this one is taking her time but she is in a groove. As for the Opium, she is healthy, happy, and ready to grow on.

Greetings fellow growers 🖖 and welcome to my first grow ever. This adventure actually started several months ago when I decided to stop buying flower from dispensaries and just grow my own bud. How hard can it be!? This is actually my second seed of this strain. The first bean sadly died due to over watering (sorry girl, RIP). I was literally watering the cube to the point where water was dripping from the bottom, then heavily sprayed the humidity dome and tray with the vents completely closed. Everyday. Multiple times. I never let the dome or try dry out. So after about 8 days of not sprouting, there was a funky smell of rot. So that was that. Later I learned that rockwool retains a lot of water and can easily drown seeds. So a wet/dry cycle is best for rockwool germination. So even after hours of researching and digging through forums and tutorial videos, I was still under prepared for this journey. Did not consider how delicate the germination phase is. Oh well. Lesson learned. Reset and try again! I hope everyone is safe and stoned during this corona crisis. Just like everyone else in the world, I want this pandemic to be over with. But in the meantime, let's grow some weed! 🖖 [START OF WEEK 01] Day 01 - Monday - 08/03/20 - Total Days: 001 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Light Schedule: 24Hrs/0 --- Soaked cube in 5.5 PH water for 10 min. Did not shake water out. --- NO NUTES! Only PH'd down to control the PH levels. --- Did not use the default hole (way too deep). --- Flipped cube upside down and made a shallow hole for the seed (less than 0.25" deep). --- Placed seed in and pinched hole close. No additional water added. --- Sprayed the tray and dome with straight water (5.5 PH). --- Vents are cracked opened a for ventilation (about 1/4 opened each). --- Distance between the light and tray was 53" --- AC was set to 80 °F --- Exhaust fan was set to 86 °F --- Room average temp was at 85 °F --- Dome humidity was at 85-99% when sprayed. --- Allowing to completely dry before respraying. - [2200]: Dome and tray were completely dry! Sprayed only tray and dome with more water. Day 02 - Tuesday - 08/04/20 - Total Days: 002 ----------------------------------- - [0845]: Sprayed dome and tray in the morning. Everything was dry. --- Hoping for the best! - [2130]: Everything was dry again, so sprayed dome and tray at night along with a light spray on the cube. Day 03 - Wednesday - 08/05/20 - Total Days: 003 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Everything was dry again. Resprayed dome and tray. Slightly sprayed cube. - [2125]: Hooo damn!! She popped! Am little stub is visible! Resprayed dome and tray again. --- Still going 24/0 for lights. - [+0033]: Just checked up on her and I swear she grew a bit taller! Getting excited! Day 04 - Thursday - 08/06/20 - Total Days: 004 ----------------------------------- - [0845]: Wow! Went from a little stub to fully sprouted overnight! Everything was pretty dry again so resprayed dome and tray. - [2200]: Tap root is visible! Over 1" long too! Just resprayed dome and tray again. -- Going to prep for hydroton transplant tomorrow! Day 05 - Friday - 08/07/20 - Total Days: 005 ----------------------------------- - [0930]: She keeps growing! -- Added a bit of CalMag to the spray bottle (8 drops to 650ml of distilled water). Resprayed dome and tray. Water was at a 5.4 PH with 141 PPM. - [1045]: Prepped the bubble bucket with 4.5gal of water. Water is high enough to reach about 0.25" above the bottom of the net pot. --- Added 3 drops of Superthrive --- Added 3.5ml of CaliMagic --- Added 2ml Hydroguard --- Then PH'd down to 5.6 --- Solution Strengh: 120 PPM --- Water chiller is set to 20 °C - [1100]: Transplant time! --- Filled the net basket 1/3 with hydroton. When placed in the bucket, air bubbles are not visible, but are slightly below the surface (slight digging will reveal the water/bubbles below). --- Removed plastic on rockwool cube and placed in basket, then filled around and covered with hydroton. Making sure to block any light from passing through the net pot and into the nutrient solution. --- Covered with a half-bottle dome sprayed with the CalMag water from earlier. --- Hoping for the best! - [1300]: Raised Bucket 5" higher. Now light distance is 48" to top of bucket. - [1820]: Lowered tent exhaust temp to 76 °F --- Lowered AC to 75 °F --- Raised bucket even higher so light distance is 30" to top of bucket. - [2300]: Looking good! --- Sprayed dome and surrounding hydroton with more CalMag water. --- Attached timer to light! So new 18 Hrs On/6 Hrs Off light schedule. --- Lights On: [1600] (4pm) --- Lights Off: [+1000] (10am the next day) --- Decided to go with lights on during the evening/night and off during the later mornings/afternoon (the hottest part of the day) to see if temps can be controlled better. --- Please survive girl! Day 06 - Saturday - 08/08/20 - Total Days: 006 ----------------------------------- - [0800]: Everything was dry. Resprayed hydroton and dome. - [2000]: Here first night cycle seemed to go well! Get'n taller! --- Dry again. Removed the dome. --- PH went up to 6.5 so PH'd down to 5.7 --- Ran the top feed drip ring for a bout a minute to wet the hydroton and rockwool with the nutient solution. ---Too scared to leave the top feed on 24hrs (I don't want over water her and cause dampening-off). Will let dry before re-watering. - [2100]: After closer inspection, I think she's looking a bit yellow. --- Decided to add a bit of grow nutes to the bubbler solution. --- Added 2ml of Sensi Grow A --- Added 2ml of Sensi Grow B --- Solution strength after adding more nutes: 176 PPM --- PH went up to 6 --- I hope that the extra chelating properties of the 'PH Perfect' solution is enough of a buffer for proper nutrient uptake. Day 07 - Sunday - 08/09/20 - Total Days: 007 ----------------------------------- - [0800]: Water dropped a bit (mostly due to evaporation) so solution strength was at 190. --- Checked PH again. Was still at 6, so PH'd down to 5.4 --- Ran the top feed for a minute to wet the hydroton a bit. - [0915]: Since she's looking perky but still a bit yellow. So decided to up the nutrient concentration even more before lights out. --- Added 2ml more of Sensi Grow A --- Added 2ml more of Sensi Grow B --- Solution strength after adding more nutes: 199 PPM --- PH went up to 5.8 - [1700]: Checked nutrients. --- PH: 5.9 --- Solution strength: 202 PPM --- Added 4ml of Voodoo Juice --- Added 4ml of B-52 --- PH after adding more nutes: 5.9 --- Solution strength after adding more nutes: 238 PPM - [2130]: Decided to make a new foliar spray to address the continued yellowing. --- Started with 500ml of distilled water. --- Added 3 drops of CaliMagic --- Added 3 drops of Sensi Grow A --- Added 3 drops of Sensi Grow B --- Added 3 drops of B-52 --- Added 1 drop of Superthrive --- Solution strength: 164 PPM --- PH was at 5.9 and did not adjust. --- Gave her one spray. --- Also sprayed the surrounding hydroton. 8/7 Plants were still heavy this morning. Temperatures have been much milder. 70's is much better than 90's. I had to water twice a day for a while. I defoliated ahind found some heat stress ob the gmo canary on the end with some twisted leaves. Some leaves are turning purple on an event horizon and gmo. Night Temps are much cooler plus its probably a pheno thing. I defoliated everything dead yesterday. Found lacewind eggs. Saw an adult green lace wing this morning in the garden along with a couple more lady bugs. There were also some lady bug larvae so I hope the go right to town. It's getting cooler so if I'm going to poorly I need to do it. Sherb pie plant seems to he the pillars favorite. I've killed a few of them. Still need to fix supports and do a little more defoliation. I have a video too but it's too slow to upload now. STOPPED AFTER GETTING MY TIRES PUT ON AND DAD SAID THE LITTLE PLANT IN THE 5 GAL BUCKET IS DROOPING. I WENT BACK AND OF COURSE IT WAS. I WATERED THAT AND THE ONE IN THE TEN AND THE 50 AS IT LOOKED DROOPY. 10 GOT A HALF GALLON AS IT WAS DRYING UP AND ITS GOING TO BE HOT TOMORROW TOO. NOT 90S PROBABLY 80S AT MOST BUT STILL. I GAVE PRETTY MICH EVERYTHING A HALF GALLON EXCEPT THE EVENT HORIZONS TGAT ARE FURTHEST IN FLOWER. WITH THIS SUPER HOT WEATHER AND LACK OF RAIN I DONT WANT TO OVERWATER. I made a large ice hash pizza now I'm waiting for it to dry so i can make a temple ball. Things are kicking off. EVERYTHING GOT A QT EXCEPT THE 10 GOT HALF A QT. THE 50 GOT SLIGHTLY MORE. A fucking chipmunk ran in my garden when the door was open. He was going fast and I couldn't find him. I looked under the pallets the entire length. Hopfully he just ran out of a hole or up the fence. I'm going to get an air horn and blow it inside the cage. I need to get some zip ties and do a little rearranging before I setup the other supports for flower. Suprisingly the plantvin the 50 went from the furthest from flower to having little budlets on it. Can't be an auto or I think it would've flowered already. 8/12 Ending of the lions gate portal. Everything looked good this morning. The one in the 5gal was removed until I figure out its issue or trash it. The yield would be less than a branch anyway. Probably chronic underwatering. The 10 was bone dry despite the 3in of rain. Some bags seemed light. Looked at last years diary and went with my intuition. WATERED TODAY. Gave everything a gallon. I moved the event horizon to where the 5gal bucket wad and STARTED reorganizing to use the most of my space. I gotta pick up some zip ties and finish the supports but I'm happy. Plants look happy. Not as tall as last year but they are SUPER bushy. I'm going to have to open some up and spread the branches. I'll keep this updated. WENT OVER AROUND THREE. I CHECKED OUT THE LITTLE PLANT AND NOTICED MULTIPLE BUDSUTES DIEING. I ALSO SAW WHAT "COULD'VE" BEEN A MALE PREFLOWER. MY INTUITION TOLD ME TO GET RID OF IT. ITS LESS THAN A BRANCH OFF THE CROP IT COULD HARM. LUCKILY I HAD BAGGED IT UP BEFORE IT BEIBG REMOVED AND IT WAS FAIRLY WELL SEPERATED. AFTER CUTTING AND DISPOSING OF IT I BROUGHT THE BUCKET TO EMPTY. IT WAS EXTREMELY ROOTBOUND. THE ROOTS WERE WHITE EXCEPT THE ONES ON THE OUTSIDE WHICH WERE A NEON GREEN. THE INSIDE OF THE BUCKET HAD WHAT LOOKED LIJE GREEN ALGAE ON IT. I IMAGINE THAYS PROBABLY WHERE MY PROBLEMS CAME FROM. I'VE USED THIS BUCKET SECERAL TIMES AND IVE SEEN TJIS TYPE OF ALGAE BUT USUALLY ONCE I SANITIZE ITS GOOD TO GO. IM NOT SURE IF IT WAS BEING ROOTBOUND OR THE ALGAE THAT DID IT IN BUT I HAVE MUCH BETTER SPACING NOW. THIS WAS THE RIGHT DECISION. I COULDNT BEAR THE RHOUGHT OF MY GIRLS GETTING POLLINATED. I DID A VIDEO TOO BUT ILL HAVE TO UPLOAD TOMORROW. ALSO CAUGHT THE TINIEST EVER MOUTH LARVAE. I SEE TINY GOLD FINCHES AND OTHER BIRDS DARTING IN MY CAGE AND AWAY WHEN I APPROACH. I THINK THEY ARE GIVING ME A HAND. 8/13 Thought thos was a new week so I took a ton of pictures and did a video. Who knows what will upload. Plants look hetter with the increased room spacing. I have the materials to finish final supports. I've just got to do it. Same with the BT spray. I'm thinking I should've upped the water to a gallon and a half or two but I'll do that next time I guess. Only problem I can see is some septoria looking spits on the toasted toffy and one gmo looks like itscrunning through nutrients quicker than others. Dad said he thinks this is my best year. He said they're more full and healthier looking. I looked at my diary last year and I had plants over the top of the cage. The weren't as bushy but I'm not complaining. These are far more indica dominant than last year so that's probably part of it. Leaves on the event horizons are starting to turn purple. I'll update what I do. I defoliated what needed it and combed through the plants hunting pillars. I GUESS I FORGOT TO UPDATE THIS OR IT DIDNT SAVE. I BOUGHT A WATERING CAN THAT HOLDS A GALLON AND A HALF AND EMPRIED VERY QUICKLY IN SMALL STREAMS SO IT DOESNT HURT THE ROOTS. GREAT INVESTMENT. COULDNT GET OVER UNTIL 2 AND I GAVE EVERYTHING A GALLON AND A HALF. EXCEPT FOR THE ONE IN THE 10 TJAT GOT A GALLON AND THE TWO PLANTS IN THE MIDDLE THAT GOT A GALLON. ONE EVENT HORIZON AND THE TOASTED TOFFY.

Week 10 their wasn’t any real changes. Girl #1 starting to gain more weight. Her smell is also increasing. She smells like citrus/ pineapples undertones. Girl #2 still hasn’t shown any flowering. It’s been 70 days and I’m starting to get worried. I’m gonna let her go until girl #1 finishes than I will start to panic. I fear she may be a 100 day to flower pheno . If nothing changes in the coming weeks I may treat her like a photo or just get rid of her !? Thank you for viewing my diary.

Мне не понравился эксперимент с использованием средства для пересадки, субстрат попросту забился желеобразными комочками(я так и не понял в чем профит), и для лучшей циркуляции воздуха в прикорневой зоне мне пришлось проделать аккуратные тоннели деревянной палочкой. Плюс я поздно начал вносить базовые удобрения, и растишки проявили признаки недоедания. Но я почти вовремя всё исправил, и концу недели я вижу позитивные тенденции к дальнейшему развитию. Разумеется, после всех потрясений растения были не готовы к любым манипуляциям с ножницами, и топпинг пришлось отложить(думаю мои ошибки затянули вегу где-то на неделю, хвала Джа у меня фотики!), а пока имеем что имеем. Day 30 of flower; I raised her pot about 30 cm to get closer to the light and to prevent her younger tall neighbours from over-growing her. She's packed with deliciously smelling, very sticky buds. This is a true queen! One of the better, if not the best, smelling plant I've grown. Can't wait to try her. She'll be ready soon. 😊

Gold Sativa has been growing good. Been focused on root pruning the last week. Something I should of been doing from the beginning. I increased her nutrition slightly. Likely 2 weeks till I change light schedule. Depending on how fast the roots recover. I am in no hurry really. During week 4 (=flowering week 2) the 18 CANNALOPE HAZE plants from DNA-GENETICS grew like hell and started to develop their first white hairs (=female pistils of the plant). The speed in which the little white crowns appear is astounding to me, I LOVE IT! The lamps are now hung at the producer recommended distance of 22 cm (=LUMATEK) and 45 cm (=SANlight) and both run at 100% power (=no more dimming for now!). The difference between the left side (=Lumatek) and right side (=SANlight) can be seen clearly in the videos. The plants on the right under the Q6W-Gen. 2 LED-Lamps from SANlight have a darker, healthier green color and have produced VISIBLY MORE FLOWERS then the plants on the left side under the Lumatek PRO 600W. This plant was a breeze to grow, finished quickly, and yielded a decent amount of colorful, fruity and rock hard nugs. A crowd pleaser, this smoke goes down easy and hits hard. More indica leaning than sativa, use this flower before bed for a nice heavy sleep. Great bag appeal and taste. Excellent work by Fastbuds once again.
