Hello everyone Fat Banana is doing amazing the hot weather here has given her a extra boost this week. She is filing those buds nicely. Trichomes are everywhere and in big numbers to. No fertilizer this week. I harvested the Apricot and the Pound Cake. I will wait one more week for the Orange Sherbet because it doesn't seem ready even if it's in the Fast Buds harvest range. This week should be the last "flowering" week, next ones will be the harvests. I don't want to add another flowering week just for the Orange Sherbet, there will be nothing to see that will not be included in the harvest. During half of the grow, the weather was really bad, especially for the summer period. The worst weather was during the vegetative phase. The plants didn't receive enough light which resulted in poor roots and leaves development. Because of that, the plants didn't have the chance to grow nice buds even if the sun was there during most of the flowering phase. Last summer, I grew a Tropicana Cookies (also from Fast Buds) in a tiny pot at the exact same spot and had better results despite the smaller pot. I didn't record the sun for that year but the weather was better from what I remember. I'm disapointed by the weather but cannot blame the plants. You cannot expect beautiful plants and buds if they don't have light 😞 In the end, my summer grows are more like bonus grows (my main grows are under a light in the winter) and I make them just for fun and to be able to taste new weeds without too much investment. Grow diary / germination / The new adventure begins Hello, dear grower friends! 😊 I’m back with a new grow diary and a new adventure. This is my second grow and I’m excited to try new things and improve my skills. I’m thankful for all the support and feedback I’ve received from you . 🙏 In this week’s update, I want to talk about: My setup My seeds My germination My expectations My setup My setup is still an 80 by 80 by 180 cm tent, which is a bit small but nothing else fits in my room. I’m very satisfied with it for the beginning, but I will get a Homebox for the third run because I find the zippers better processed and the inlay reflects more light. My lamp is a LUmatek 200 watt pro edition, which I’m absolutely happy with. It has great handling and processing and it gives enough light for my plants. If I get a smaller tent for a mother plant, I will order from Lumatek again 110 percent. My exhaust is twice as strong as I need it so I can keep it at a quiet 50 percent. It keeps the air fresh and the temperature stable. The temperature is around 25°C and the humidity is around 60%. I water my plants manually according to the Biobizz fertilizer scheme. I use organic nutrients and adjust the pH of the water. The plants are in Lightmix now and will move to 20 l fabric pots in Allmix when transplanting. My seeds As seeds I have this time: 1 Orange Sherbert from Barneys Farm 1 Bruce Banner 1 Apple Fritter 2 Lemon Gelato from a collaboration of Zamnesia and Kannabia These are all very special strains that I’m curious to try. The Lemon Gelato seeds were limited to 500 and I hope they will be fantastic. Of course I have conserved some for later grows. My germination I germinated the seeds in a glass of water for 24 hours and then planted them in small pots with Lightmix. They sprouted after 2-3 days and are now showing their first true leaves. They look healthy and happy, except for one Lemon Gelato seed that didn’t make it, which was probably my fault. The other one is very lively. I have them under the lamp at 18/6 light cycle and at about 50 cm distance. I water them every two days with a spray bottle and a little bit of root juice. My expectations I’m looking forward to the new challenge, especially because it’s a mix of 4 strains this time and I hope we can build on past successes. I want to improve my scrog technique and top the plants at least 3 times. I also want to try mainlining on one of them. Début de la 1ère semaine officiellement le 10 Septembre, les deux graines de BB ont fait leurs petites plantules en quasiment 1 jour après la mise en terre. J’ai effectué la technique avec le verre d’eau et ça a fonctionné en 1-2j. Semaine 1 demain. À très bientôt ! Awesome Week💚 Following some great discussions with more experienced growers, I really think we got things back on track!🚆 🙏 To Those Growmies! I really raised the ppm this week we topped out around 630 PPM This was in an attempt to balance out some nutrition issues. I think the ladies have responded very well. 😃🌱💪 Raised the light up to 24in as well a few days later after seeing positive changes due to feeding regiment. Started preflowering, showing pistols on all plants. Counting down these last 7-8 weeks when the ladies beauty comes out 🤩 Will update throughout the week with photos and videos. Hello Diary, The second week of flowering is over and as you can see from the photos, Medusa is developing incredibly fast. The flowers are filling up really nicely, taking on an already beautiful scent that overwhelms me when I open the Farm's door. All in all, both plants are beautiful, although they differ in structure, the flowers are almost identical on both plants. It's unbelievable to me that it's only the fifth week since the beginning of the vegetation, they are really developing very quickly. They stagnated in height growth, only a few centimeters this week, so they reached their maximum height of about 50 cm. This requires more frequent watering, so I increased the amount when watering and the time interval between each watering decreased. The conditions are good, the temperature is around 25 degrees while the humidity is around 45%. Here's what it looked like last week. 22/02/2023. - Day 29. Watering. I prepared 8 liters of water, lowered the pH. at 6.0 and I watered both plants evenly with that amount. 26/02/2023. - Day 33. Watering. This time I added Bigger Flowers and Thicker Flowers from the Bio Flowering Booster palette. I also removed a couple of leaves at the very bottom of the plant to make watering easier. 28/02/2023. - Day 35. Photographing and measuring plants.
