This week I decided it was time to employ some LST. Really I should have just done LST and not topped them, aside from the largest one which responded well. They weren't putting out fast enough growth to take to topping well, and I've learned my lesson. That's why my autos haven't done so well in the past. I'm still learning😬 So in order to get as much as I can out of them as we enter flowering, we're doing a little LST this week. Earlier in the week I did have to bring them in the hoop house on 7/11 because we got a lot of rain that day, our basement flooded and the water got so high in the stream that it washed the bridge out. So I think I made the right decision otherwise they may have gotten lockout. I also changed their feed a bit. I added in some Neptunes Harvest Fish Fertilzer 2-4-1 with the Alaska 5-1-1 in equal portions on the 13th and will continue with it tonight. I may add a little molasses as well. Most of what I was trying to accomplish with each plant is explained in the video. Enjoy!

Auto black Opium is growing good. She had a rough start, but is cruising now. Everything is looking good. I did some more lst on her and defoliation as well. D64 Saw the plants lower growth drooping so gave 4Ls during peak sun. D65 Defoliated the top growth nodes extensively, to allow the lower canopy to catch up. Cleared up lower canopy too and found some inhabitants🐝 D69 10

Orion F1 Liquid Nutrients. 15.6.25: I watered with 2ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.2, containing the following nutrients; ♡ 1/2 Mega Crop Part A ♡ 1/2 Mega Crop Part B PH: 6.2 PPM: 828. The plant has finally started to grow again! I'm having a little trouble with this one, as I'm trying to judge how much food she needs. I had thought the worm castings would keep her going for longer, honestly. Let's see how she comes along after another good dose next week! Finally back to it!

Week 9 flower is coming to an end and the Sour Diesel still has about a week to go. I could chop it down now with no complaints I think, the heads are mostly cloudy, no amber, but I’d like these foxtail like growths to fill out, if possible, now that they popped out. Think I had the light intensity to high and far along into flower and that’s why the GG#4 had a few nanners pop late, just displayed the stress in different ways, but what the hell do I know lol 😂. Flowers seem hard and dense but look a little weird with foxtails and the tips are stretched strangely and can see a bit of the centre stalk on a few lower and further from the light. The foxtail growth is also happening lower down as well which makes me think genetics, I dunno? Stripped most the large leaves that I could easily get at and just watering still letting the soil stay a bit on the dryer side, but consistent. Steadily lowering the humidity the best I can and manage, but it’s a bit difficult as I took down the humidifier to clean and get ready for harvest and got the dehumidifier going, but got another cold snap coming through and it’s dry outside and the house heat is running, don’t have a clean filter for the humidifier now, trying to get it right, right to the end, but Mother Nature is making my unnatural grow difficult lol. Week five all the plants are doing great. They all grew think upwards of 10 inches this week. Had a little problem with leafhoppers bought me seed meal and name seed oil hopefully that will fix leap poppers problem. All the girls are doing a great fifth week in soil excited to see next week..

The buds smell very tasty and look very good so I'm really excited. The trichomes are 70% milky and 30% amber. As always, it came to the darkroom 48 hours before harvest :-). There it will now remain after harvesting at 62% humidity for 8-12 days before it is put into the jars for fermentation with 62% boveda packs :-). the whole week plant was preparing for the harvest I flushed, I did HST, just thrust in it with a knife (I spied on this method from Zurban_Poisonia, thanks to him for the idea) this should help release the resin. buds looks great! I think that cool for such light (it consumes 93 watts) Harvest will be coming soon

25 september This girl is outstanding. Amagine lifting or weighing that plant. Sorry for the report, but fresh weight total is not possible for me. After harvesting Maroc I wanted to hold the stem/skeleton up for a photo. I Could hardly lift it for a picture. Must have been 20 Kg. Just stem with rootball. Fresh buds where just harvested but in stages. This plants is now reaching almost 4 meters tall and is about 3 meters wide. Buds are very compact and spread nicely over branches. The small sprouts and buds within were taken out on 21st. You can tell the plants suffer from the cold. Daytemp around 10-15 degrees slows them down, almost to a halt. So lets pray for some more sunshine! 25th she was looking so much better after 3 days sun. I think she needs another 3-4 weeks if mould or frost doesnt spoil things. Those sunny days and 20+ celsius. that really made Grapefruit and Lemon Kush pop before they got cut. 3 day impact was amazing after 10 days seeing nothing but rot grow during nonstop rain. 💩Holy Crap💩 That was so much fun , it's full on winter where I am and it kept me busy , and come on there's nothing like growing your own stuff. I had a blast as it's been at least over 10 years since my last indoor grow , and it was fun , I had used all of my old techniques and equipment and it worked out just fine , so I was glad I had a ruff idea of what to expect...... Final thoughts Gonna be honest about that grow , it should me just how far Genetics have come, 10 plus years ago before I stopped growing indoors , all we had was like lowrider auto and greenomatic auto and maybe few others but they were horrible...... but this auto produced quite well as expected it should with the size of my medium and my soil base and very little nutrients, which is what I had hoped for from the start , cause I didn't really know where to start in terms of Genetics as I have been out the game for awhile but I'm super glad with the results and some gratitude needs to be sent to CanukSeeds , they came through as it always starts and ends with elite Genetics👌 ........... I can't wait to start my next grow diary, so keep an eye out , there's gonna be more to come , I'm going to try some really interesting cultivars........ PS. Grow is looking very bushy. Raised the light up about 6". This is a 60 dsy strain. So we have about 4 weeks left in the flower process. Interested in what the roots will look like.

Day 11: We have: 3x White Widow 1x Critical 2x Special Queen #1 1x Special Kush #1 Important: The method used "jiffy" is efficient and fast but in another possible germination I will definitely do the "paper towel" method first. It is important to note that for good germination, the seeds must have as little soil as possible on top, where I delayed by 1 week due to the fact that the seed was very deep in a jiffy. I reduced the distance of the LED from 60cm to 30cm because we still have plants that are stretching too much so this was the measure adopted awaiting results. For 8 pots of 0.5L, 500ml of pure water containing: 1ml Voodoo Juice 1ml Sensi Grow A+B (2ml total) 1ml B52 2ml CalMag The net proportion was satisfactory.

Well she is down. Smells so dam good. Proper zesty smell. Can’t wait to sample her in a week before she goes in to cure. Will update next week with harvest ect. Happy growing all and be safe 😎

Aug 9: defoliated again to remove lower branches and shaded fan leaves that can prevent air circulation. She is doing great with the buds thickening fast. Starting to get smelly too. Got the UV lights out today. This helps Edmonton in August or September be more like California in June or July. Maybe not that effective but that’s the idea. Second year using the UV lights and worked great last year. Aug 10: UV lights going again today. Aug 13: rainy last few days. Shaking water off the buds periodically. Plant was up against house to protect from heavy rain and potential hail.
