Week 9 plant - vertical growth slowed down, packing on the buds quite nice. smelling great, quick counted 11 colas Week 8 plant - stretched quite a bit this past week. hairs everywhere, bud growth is starting to come in. quick counted 12 colas. Just added water to the res, ph went up a bit so dropped in 1ml of ph down to bring it back to 5.6, around 790-800 ppm. Did a light defoliation on the bottom of the plants, pulling off weak/dying older fan leaves mostly. Minor tucking of fan leaves on the top to expose more colas to the light. Adjusted the light to 18" from the tallest cola.

Trichomes ripens Up . Good amount already brown on one plant. 1/3 of plants will be used for Bubble Hash -- live Rosin Last little defoliation 1-2 Weeks to go

Went back over to put the girls to bed at six and if was still 90 degrees. The water from yesterday had dissipated. The tops were dust dry. I mixed two gallons of kelp you kelp me and fed it to the garden. Afterwards I pointed qbd found a couple plants that were more open to the wind were a little lighter. I know tomorrow will be very hot. Maybe quarter inch of rain. However after that it will rain (showers) off and on for days. I wanted to make sure the girls had what the needed to make it through tjis heat wave until they get that rain. I had another gallon mixed up and I'm thinking I should've given it to them. Oh well. I'd rather underwater than overwater any day. I did notice a burnt top on the plant furthest from the tarp that the sun JUST BARELY TOUCHES when the rest are in shade. I'll just raise the tarp a little. These are tiny problems. Can't upload video until tomorrow. 6/24 Good thing u gave the plants that water. I know it wasn't much but we didn't get any rain. Suppised to get a qtr in today and another qtr in tomorrow. Then rain a couple more days. It's working our really good for my watering schedule lol. Yesterday the girls got there first dose of a bottled nute. They got two gallons of kelp me kelp you (1/3 tsp per gallon) and another gallon of just phed water. I was going to do another gallon but held off due to the threat of syring rain. Didn't get it bur it looks like the plants loved the kelp. It had reached 90 yesterday. They look better today. It's 70 at 9 today. I LST the 10th planet in the 3 gallon. It's getting huge. I should start a separate diary for those three light dep plants. Its cool as hell watching this. One of the purple punches is flowering pretty good. I probably should start another diary for them. I'll be starting to feed my plants soon. Wondering if I should pinch plants again. TUCKED THE LITTLE GIRLS IN AT SIX AND SHOT A VIDEO AND TOOK SOME PUCTURES. PLANTS LOOKED PHENOMINAL! GOT HOME AND AROUND SEVEN IT JUST STARTED RORREBTIAL DOWNPOURS! THE TYPE OF RAIN THAT BREAKS STEMS. I SHOULDVE PUT MY OTHET TARP UP BUT I DIDNT. I WISH I HAD. IM A LITTLE NERVOUS. I KNOW THESE GIRLS ARE STRONG THOUGH! TOMORROW. ILL ROLL THE RARP UP AND SECURE THE BOTTOM FOR FAST ACCESS. IM ALSO GOING TO KOOK INTO FINDING A TOP FOR MY CAGE I CAN USE IN INCLIMENT WEATHER. 6/25 That little qtr in of rain we were supposed to get turned into torrential downpours and high winds. Luckily no REAL damage. If you watch the video you'll see what I mean. I'm going to havecto be cognizant moving forward. Noticed a few chunks from leaves butvplants are still healthy. I'm surprised how well these girls withstood this storm. They are certainly resilient. The 2 purple punch 1 10th planet that I'm light depping are flowering nicely now. They missed all the commotion from the storm as they were inside. It's smelling good. I'm happy. 6/26 It's what a friend would say is "maineing") out. That mistcthe plants love. I'm surprised the plants are doing as good as they have been considering the wind. Will be adding nutes soon. Need to add extra supports too. Light dep 6/27 Brief periods or torrential downpours. Light depped 3 gallon 0lants are under an overhanfcwhete the hatsxrain can't hurt them but they still get sun. They are really starting to flower now! I'm going to begin feeding with a base nute and a flower nute I think. I'm thinking about giving the light dep some open sesame or something similar. I need to set up a nute program soon but the plants ALL look so healthy! And it's been raining! I've only watered like once or twice since they've been in the big pots. I've seen zero pests aside from a chunk missing from a grasshopper. Usually by now I'd have battled half a dozen things and be battling another half dozen. However I was posing from clones. These are seeds and boy don't I see the difference!

Opening this week is a surprise as the height of the untopped is surprisingly stretches the topped one stays compact and bushy First signs of pistils shows more clearly here I defoliated some lower leaves in couple days of the late week and LST at the end of week’s day before lights off.

HEY GANG UPDATE BEFORE THE FLIP!!!!! So guys I had the WPM (white powdery mildew) issue with the gelato auto haven't really seen it coming up elsewhere I'm already using a OMRI 3-in-1 spray for it will update on that as well, hopefully that'll cure it, otherwise these other girls are doing great! On day 13 they recieved higher nutriens EC 1 PH 6.4 Topped 4 plants on day 17 On day 17 I gave them another too hot nutrients solution EC 1.8 PH 6.5 can see some problems (in my opinion its nuts burn due not me realizing that soil was already a bit pre-fertilized + pushing everything too far due to its my first grow I found out at day 17, when I saw first signs - sadly I topped them that day and I brought them a lot more stress 😒 Transplanted plants into final 15l pots on day 20 Right now they are getting RO water only, will feed on day 22 again with EC of 0,9 I will aim for 6.2 PH as well EDIT: couple of people confirmed nutrients burn, so since I transfered 1l pots into 15l fresh lighmix, I will not feed until day 26 - they will get only hydro roots with RO water EDIT2: Forgot to write info about my light schedule - running lights at 240W and right now I am hitting around 375 PPFD with 18hrs on - so that is around 24.3 DLI :) I am checking it with LUX meter and converting to PPFD - then DLI

Topped them end of last week, still not given them feed as the farmyard manure they were planted straight into seems to be giving them what they need so far, I've given them rain water when they needed it. Hopefully the sun will return this coming week 🌞

Day91: 72h of darkness and they all be chopped. Harvested and jarred the experiment grow (the plant was rescued then topped) 21g total. Not bad all things considered. I think I can get 100g with the whole grow Chop day: 31/8 day 96. Plants are drying in the tent at 25ºC and 61%RH

This little lady is turning out to be a piglet just like her sister. She is drinking so much I though I had a leak in my auto drainage system because I came after a few days out of town and the 32 gallon reservoir was almost empty but so was my drain bucket outside the tent. I opened the tent expecting it to be soaking wet on the floor but there was not a drop of water, so I had to up her watering to 5 gallons per day to even get a quart of runoff. I also had to remove the mini dehumidifier and replace it with a full size dehumidifier to keep the tent under 50% RH. I also have a full size dehumidifier running outside the tent and it is keeping the RH at around 40% outside the grow tent. She is starting to smell very nice and grapey, not overpowering yet when you open the tent, but I feel like in a few weeks she will definitiely be there. Things progressing steadily in the tent. Smells us developing daily really stinky in there at the moment. The Apple kicking out a really pungent chem smell. The banana giving off a sharp citrus smell and the cherry a funky fruity smell.😍😍😍

The colas keep filling out and getting longer and smell amazing. It's been warmer and more humid outside so RH in the tent has gone up. I added a mini air purifier I wasn't using (no ozone) as an extra precaution against mildew. I woke up in the middle of the night on Monday and realized that the air purifier has a light on it so I got up and turned it off. I was worried that I'd messed with the dark cycle so I left them in darkness for an extra 2.5 hours. My cool tube fan fell off the next day, onto my plants. They look undamaged. I taped it up again and set up a safety wire like the filter and fan have. I need a better solution for next cycle. The buds are beautiful and having an even canopy is great. It's hard not thinking about the end result. The buds still look small compared to the big colas of a traditional grow shape but there's still a couple weeks left. There is some bud formation under the canopy but it's a little light. The tops of the colas are fat but short on the 7 gallon plants and taller and thinner on the 5 gallon plants. I did leave a couple offshoots on that developed in late veg/early flower. By the time I caught them, I felt they were too mature to chop and I thought they helped fill out certain areas. But those ones have fewer bud sites and tend to be just a cola on a branch that shoots straight up which is still good. I do wonder if less crowding would have given me bigger buds, but I think it has more to do with pot size. This is week 7 of flower. I switched to half strength nutes and started adding fancy molasses (18ml/gallon). I broke my pH tester and didn't replace my SCROG net until after I finally watered the next day so the canopy changed a bit. I took the opportunity to rearrange the plants a bit. Crystal formation increased a crazy amount the day after I started adding molasses. I think I'll keep adding molasses even during flush. The CBD Blue Shark has this really beautiful white glow. The pistils are very strong and white and the trichromes reflect back this silver light. The leaves are a nice semi-glossy dark green which gives great contrast. It's just a beautiful plant. The Wedding Cake has a lot more colour with lots of red hairs and some yellow tones in the pistils. The fan leaves are more prone to yellowing and death than the leaves on the CBD BS. The buds seem more structurally dense and are really working on these pyramid shapes that look like delicious orange and green snacks. The buds on the CBD Blue Shark are more symmetrical and kind of otherworldly like some kind of sea creature.
