Nice week. Tropicana got healthy stuff in the last days. On day 29 I gave her a 1:10 homemade plant manure fertilization with comfrey and nettle which takes about two weeks to see a reaction. Three days later she got her next head fertilization to protect her with field horsetree extract and a cosmic sunstorm fertilization 😉. Smelling a bit but works good with fruit trees or veggies which are sensitive for mold and killer insects. Got to bring some 🐞cause I watched some lice while sucking Tropicana juice. 🤭😅 Northern lights night was nice to watch. Sun is shining and the Temperature during the days is up to 25 degrees. Day 34: Tropicana slept outside for the first time. The temperature at night is over 10 degrees now, soon even more.

Great week 100% germination rate and all the girls are out of the soil ready to start life. Haven't found a Bubble gum strain like the real one, let's hope this is it. 02/01/2022 - Day 77 - First day of the 12th week. Yoooo, anybody still here? First of all Happy New Year to everyone! And after this, we back after 4 weeks of silence and... ...the girls are still on the grind! ahah Especially one, slowly slowly, is doing her stuff, NO FEAR! Winter? So far it's going steady. The dwc pH has been dipping to the low 5s. I'm only feeding bloom, calmag, cha-ching and water probably for the next week to be safe until flush. The PP seems to be doing great. Wondering if it will get purple colors or did I drop the wrong damn seed 🤣. But she smells lovely

This lady tends to stay small, but the she has quite a explosive veg time. She will not grow tall but she will produce many side branches that will continue side branches. There for the plants can be very leafy, and will produce unnecessary shadow that will block the canopy. Due to blocking of the canopy after the 5 first CM high chance useless pop corn bud will develop. So with this strain it is very important to train her wel and make sure the light can penetrate the lower branches aswel, if you want to have enjoyable sweet dense buds all of the plant and branches. Have a good grow!

Week 4 and things are getting a bit more serious now. The growth is exploding. I topped 3 of the 4 main plants, leaving 1 un-topped to see the difference in yield and growth. I did some LST on unwieldy branches to even out the canopy. By the end of the week I started mixing 'pre-flower' fertilizer, just below half strength but it was definitely too much for the plants. They were droopy as heck, and new growth was twisted and shrivelled. Big oopsie. Out of the 5 plants, 3 were showing pistils. B#3 and #4 seem to be stubborn. The Jock Horror seems to be a lost cause at this point. Too scared to pot it up or do any training with it. Will keep it going, maybe it'll yield half a gram. Lights are 20/4 and pH is still at 6.5.

10/24/2018 Beginning of week #5, flowering stretching is slowing down,and filling out, not much to report on all seems well so that scares me a little. Week 6 and maybe week 7 I will be adding Overdrive by advanced nutrients. Have any of you guy's and/ or gals used it ? I would appreciate any feedback .. Also thinking about upping the bloom by .5ml, any experience with raising nute levels plant looks very healthy, just wondering if anyone thinks it is worth trying. I'am using PH Perfect, grow, micro, bloom, plus overdrive in week #6, and #7, as I'am not sure if it is a 10-12 week plant. Not sure if you seen some 11 FINGER leaves and longer thinner SATIVA like attributes. She s growing healthy

So this one started slow but healthy. She was a sativa that expected much more leg space and warmer humid climate which i fixed later. Needs LsT. I hit it with my concoction to keep her short it worked. Dense nugs especially for sativa hybrid. Not loud but tropical sweet. I needed 11 weeks min for flower could run 12 even though I seeded mine. Tiny sativa seeds like the original ibl bred by jaffa seeds uk and brought to me by Pevseeds. Not bad for under a cheap 120w led quantum and 3 gallon grow bag. I should have went with 5. The roots were amazing dense.

I love these last stages! The girls are still stretching but I decided to give them a defoliation a week early. If you look back on last week you can see how bushy they have gotten so there was a definite need to get some light to the lower bud sites. I can definitely start to smell the familiar gassy aroma coming through now so may be time to get the fan and carbon filter cranked up. I will be top amending the soil again at some point this coming week but as for now I have just been feeding with water and liquid seaweed. I've had a few compliments from friends on the good health of the plants this time round compared to previous grows when the Sour Diesels had nutrient issues, not helped by the Coco medium I was using. I'll be sticking to this choice of soil and organic nutrients with the results I'm getting so far! I mean, look at those pistils!! 😁 I love that I've had 93 views on this diary so far! The two big dawgs started to really pack it on this week. Number one is holding strong a week ahead of two. Has a bit of a learning curve with the new hydro setup and HLG leds. I learned that the intensity causes the flowers to use more cal-mag than standard hps/halide according to some reading. It also could be they are just using more than the recommended dosage and a had a bit of a phosphorus deficiency. Either way I upped my Cali magic and the young leaves look great as do the flowers. #1 is starting to get some pinks and purples and #2 is still cranking out white pistils.
