2 of the 5 coco plants are doing good but 3 others were looking awful and got behind. It was a bit unexpected. I've never had such unhealthy plants before. The peat side is doing good The runoff PH on some plants was 5.2. Adding way too much phophoric acid to get to 5.5 (Plagron recommendation) Well, fuck their recommendations. looking objectively, they are so dark green that the EC of 2 is probably also unnecessarily high. After a few waterings they are back to normal PH and EC, growing well again and getting back on track! Now I will not go above 1.5 or 1.6 anymore. === update I got some of those white crawling bugs. They came up after watering. I hit them with Gnatrol WDG and BAC vitality (as root drench) and they died. They only live in the air-pots. After the nuke I had to flush out the pots with 4 liters of nutrient solution because the PH came down to 5.

Medium: Look, I love coco/soil, organic/synthetic just as much as anyone. I’ve never really hated on any particular method and each has its uses depending upon the environment. That being said.... hydro is likely to be the predominant indoor method for us going forward. It ticks all the boxes that the average hobby grower is looking for. Maintenance is generally pretty easy, while I’ve found myself monitoring ph and tds more frequently, I’m still only mixing nutes once a week instead of three. The hassle factor is crazy mitigated here👍. From a sustainability perspective, nute consumption is wayyyy down, saving more dolla bills y’all! Added bonus is that veg. Growth rates are just insanely fast. From the moment she popped her head out to the start of week 4, this girl was fimmed, pruned, trained and flipped. She put out a full oz. more than the 6 week(v) mainline beside er😳. Now that is just straight amazing😎. The key advantages - BIG F$&K’N YIELDS and auto pilot care for up to 2 weeks. It is a little bit of a tricky medium but once you dial in the ratios - smooth sail’n the whole grow. I can focus on training/maintenance instead of feeding🤟🤟. If there’s a drawback to DWC it would be that I’d have concerns about leaving it for more than a couple days when she’s in full flower. They just drink so much that It’s a constant top off. All told, far and away the most effective and economical medium we’ve used😎. Method 🎚️🎚️🎚️🎚️🎚️ Under this COB light system, the best method to date has definitely been a mainline. It’s got so much canopy penetration that we’re pulling down 16” long colas packed with well developed buds. Here’s where strain, medium and method kinda collide though. This girl was on a hurry up and go schedule. We lost the first one to root rot and had to get this one off the ground and mature before the cycle sched. Was gonna flip. Not to mention it was totally screwing with our spring nursery timing too. She was fimmed once and then splayed with LST. Not much either - just enough to get er spread apart a little. So you combine ultra fast growth rates of hydro with a big yield strain like this on a fast paced training method that limits required recovery times... and you get this monster. Just a perfect grow that anyone would be extremely happy with. We used frozen water bottles In the res. twice a day throughout the grow. My issues with light leaks and temps are well documented and I’m constantly running up against one or the other as a hurdle. This plant was no different and she started to re-veg. In the last few days prior to chop. All due to a light leak from the cabinet beside this one that was running on an 18/6. Gonna have to plug some light holes prior to next grow. Other than that - she was amazing and the method here is getting an unusually high and very rare 5/5.😳 Yield/Harvest🌴🌴🌴🌴 The final number is just so sweet. 6.04oz and she veg’d less than a month. Overall, I could confidently say that’s both faster and better than most typical autos in general😳😎👍👌. Any time your rock’n out 5+oz is a good haul but in this kinda time frame - that’s just crazy. We let her go just a little longer (again, as per Spliff’s direction) and it was worth the extra patience. She’s dense as all hell and a nice add to the stash🤟. Hello. It 35 c. in the greenhouse today with 5 fans running. Stinkin hot in there. I hope the heat doesn't melt my THC crystals. It's suppose to be as warm tomorrow too. > I have not seen any powdery mildew on either Amnesia Lemon this year. >I have started my 2nd flush today. I' try for 4. But might have to cut a little earlier because>>> > AAHHH, I found a small patch of spider mites on the Amnesia Lemon. I only have a week to go so I decided to turn up the fans instead of spray. Yes they will progress, but slowly and they cant spin their webs in the wind, so it slows them down. And I don't mind smokin dried spider mites (isn't it extra protein). I'm blaming the house behind me, I looked through the fence and they have about 12 large pots growing cannabis, imagine that. >Starting to get some color on the Burmberry and the Sister Amnesia Lemon looks ready to be cut down. > I'll take some more pictures just before harvest and during and after. It took me 2 days to cut it down last year. I wet trim. I grew Dr. Green Thumb seeds Big Laughing last year. They made decent buds but they were not very strong, disappointed. Thought I'd try some stuff that did well inside and see what they did in the greenhouse. These plants were taken as clones, near the start of the year 2020. I moved them in the greenhouse when it was warm enough and did some training then. I started to flower them at the end of May. The tent worked great at forcing flowering at the brightest time of the year. Less chance of problems then trying to flush on a cold October day. I hope I helped makes it clearer in what I'm doing. Day 39 flower!! Not a whole lot to report, just watering every 2-3 days ph 6.5 tap water Top dressed with gaia green bloom 284 with about 2 tablespoons per gallon and then about 2 cups of worm castings. I didnt use All purpose this time around as Im trying to taper off the nitrogen. Hopefully that doesnt come back to bite me Hopefully the girls are done come May is what im hoping for

This plant was a BEAST!! She loaded up on frost as much as one could want. She smells super pungent!! The weight of the buds are becoming too much for the branches. This plant was pure gold for a fast photoperiod!! 😎🌱

Still not given any food at 35 days since popping. She's growing well and I've put her in a 4ltr pot. I've pinched the top out to slow down the vertical growth.

Good plant! Was attacked by flies (Sciaridae), thrips, tetranychus and a monster cat but always remained strong! The attacks had just slowed down the growth (this little one has 2 month of growth). Even in microgrow, the blooming is really impressive: as fast as an indica but for as long as a sativa. The genetics is not perfect: some parts of the same flower were too mature and some new parts swere still emerging... it's a research strain! The smell is really good and relatively light comparing to others strains. After few volacano : the weed taste like "tropical soda" or passion fruit mixed with cream. The effect is much stronger than I expected for a THC-CBD hybrid, is more indica than the pure indica: the afghan side + the CBD relaxation make a real sleeping medecine. => The taste and effect are really different from every other strain, try it!
