At the beginning of this week, I have been fighting the gnats, which are less and less now. Just some watering and gradually lowering the light and going to full power. The Orange Hill Special has been filling out great and I must say, she is a pretty plant. With some manual bending and super cropping, I'm bending the longer stalks sideways and we are off. What I actually do is more of an intuitive hybrid between mainlining (where I bend the whole plant 90 degrees at the third week), LST (where I bend branches outward slightly, without tying), HST / Super crop (where I bend the stems 90 degrees with the clips or manually), after which I keep bending outward to SOG and, put the net over to end in SCROG. This same method gave me the canopy in my prize-winning Gelato 33 grow. Check it out if you haven't seen it, it was my first experimental accident that led to beta test of Super Soil mixture 0.7, now we are at Alpha version 1.00 and testing great so far if I say so myself. I haven't seen such lush greens in my own grows, only outdoor. They seem uber-healthy and resilient, with very sturdy stems and leaves. Way more resilient than previous strains I tested in the beta soil. The light is performing, the natural color of it makes everything pop. Mars Hydro has a winner with the SP-3000. Halfway through this week, I took the clips out, AND...... we switched them to go into flowering. After a day the stretch is already visible. I had to bend them again after a couple of days. Now we have almost a tent filling foundation for a maximum result canopy of buds. I was wanting to amend the soil with flowering additions (see recipe in yellow image), but I'm holding it off for two reasons. A/ The leaves are still so green and lush, I think there is an abundance of nutes. B/ @Haoss mentions his suspicions on his OHS grow (@#CannapediaProGrowersCup Orange Hill that very sadly went hermie on him) that nutrition in this phase could have had an influence, after asking what happened to him. I would have loved to see that grow to full harvest. But it makes me a bit cautious. if Haoss (whom I consider to be one of the star growers here) couldn't prevent this, what chance have I? I'm waiting until the girls start asking for nutrients. They'll show me what they need in their own time. For now this soil is the shizzle (also quite literally) and Im happy with how everything is going. I remember much more hassle and steering in the last grow. This grow, even the Gorilla runt seems happy. I now water them 3 liters of water / Perma tea mixture every 4 days, every 3rd watering I don't do the tea. This makes for fewer gnats and this soil seems to hold water nicely, also due to the hydro corn. What I like is there is always some unforeseen circumstance, a tilt of the tables, some battle to be fought which delivers in big harvests or, in worst case, no harvest at all. It makes it more exciting, when your heart is at stake, we pour a lot of love and attention in the ladies. So with hopes, but not too high, we go into flowering. Day 32-26/08/22 so I’m feeling better now so time to get these diaries back on track!!! All 5 girls are doing good 👍 one of them has a few damaged leafs but very healthy will start to give them bloom tomorrow or later depending on if they need watering or not!!!

This week I top all 8 Green Poison ( 4dwc and 4 coco ) clones. They look healthy and happy and few days later I already start to low stress training (LST) them.

Growth has slowed after the House sitter issue but I’m just gonna let her take her time. I Think that she’s about a week behind. She was also getting too close to the lights which I believe started to stress her. I rigged them up higher and i'm sure it we will coast right into harvest from here. This strain is awesome, I've seen that it's not considered easy to grow and I can tell shes fussy but she definitely tells me what she needs and what's wrong. She reeks of very pungent lemon with a hint of skunk.

Loving the frosty look of this canopy, there's buds everywhere. I think she may have been over trained though. I've thinned out a few tops that were never going to come to anything and this weeks pics are the results. I can see at least 20 tops on this beast. Some real nice development going on!

End of week 7(day 50 to be exact). Her buds are starting to put on lots of mass. At this point only the buds in the center of the scrog are still upright on their own. I backed down on my light intensity a bit (on day 46) as she started to foxtail on me a little. Was running about 1600par in the convergence area between the two lights and about 900 on the edges. Backed the lights down to about 550(center) and 375(edges). She has been liking it and has stopped yellowing. She will be on this light intensity for the last couple of weeks. Trichomes are still mostly clear with a few cloudy/amber, so she will definitely be going the full 10 weeks. I backed down to half strengrh on her feed and added a good dose of epsome salt to give her a mag/sulfur boost ti promote ripening. She smells amazing. Earthy dank with a strong overtone of fruit. This pheno will be a breed mother for me in a couple of runs. The best clone is going to a homie's place to be kept in veg. He wants to run her too so we will take cuttings for cycles at his place and i will later when im ready to cross her.

She has become a beautiful little bush full of fat dense nuggets completely covered in fruity and sweet resin glands with some purple no tones in the buds. Love It!

The one washing machine is CLEARLY going to be the biggest plant😅 but I love the phenotype of o.m.g we have gotten😍

Seems to be doing well. I still can't place the smell. I think it will be tasty and potent.

This week, Pablo Escobar is definitely going into flowering. She is only about just over a foot tall, and some of the leaves on the top of the plant have spots on them. I'm not sure what that's from. This is going to be the smallest plant so far. I'm really not sure what went on, but I think it is to do with the soil. Did a top watering this week with some nutes added. Then back to plain RO water in the SIP. Seeing some light burn so lowered the PAR from avg 650 to 550. Tried a Co2 canister but without a proper lung room for this 10 x 5, it was pretty useless. Really getting into this hobby, love the abundance of free knowledge and different techniques available. Starting to resent those who I see bragging about "trade secrets". I've been spending more time in hash making discords, hash making twitch streams, and grower instagrams. It never ceases to amaze me what we can learn for free with some motivation and the internet. *I am growing 4 plants here, but only tracking one.
