These ladies have blown up since last week almost tripled the size in 7 days. I'm thinking that the new soil I'm using is better than what I previously used which was roots organic 707 now I'm using FoxFarms happy frog. Other than that watering with half the normal dose of nutrients for now until they use up the nutes in the soil. Temperature never moves at a steady 72° F all day and night even with the lights on. I can tell these are going to produce some nice thick flowers 🌿💚

This diary will be special to me for two reasons, one because I have the opportunity to cultivate some new and exciting strains from two of the TOP breeders in the industry! The second reason this will be special to me is that I will be growing these two strains in a brand new greenhouse that I put up! I'm super stoked to see how these two ladies turn out in this new setup. On to the strains: 'Tester' Strain A info: Hybrid (I/S) | 6-7 weeks flowering | Fruity, Sweet, Candy 'Tester' Strain B info: Indica-Dominant (90%) | 7 weeks flowering | Fruity, Peppery, Sweet I hope that you enjoy this run as much as I will... It's going to be fun and interesting for sure! ~GROW WHAT YOU LOVE, LOVE WHAT YOU GROW!~ ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: These beauties will be growing in a brand spanking new 10x14' greenhouse that I have equipped with automatic window openers, a complement of Hurricane fans and a de-humidifier/heater to help keep the environment as dialed in as possible. I started both tester in glasses of tap water, where they soaked for 24hrs. After soaking, they were placed directly into whole eggshells with just their tops removed to make a natural seed starting pot that I filled with a 70/30 blend of Coco/Perlite which was pre-moistened with well water ph'd to 6.2, then placed under a 50w full spectrum LED on a 24hr light schedule. Once, they both have their second set of leaves emerged, I plan on starting to put them in the greenhouse for 2-3 hour a day for a few days to help them acclimate and 'harden off' in the greenhouse. I'll be starting both off in 1qt pots, then transplanting them into to gradually larger pots until they're around 6 weeks old, then they will go into their final pots which are 25g fabric pots. I mix my initial medium using 3 tbsp/g of Gaia Green Organics 4-4-4 along with 1 tbsp/g of Gaia Green Organics Glacial Rock Dust for the trace minerals it provides, 1 tbsp/g of Down To Earth Kelp Meal, 1 tbsp/g of Trichoderma/Mycorrhizae, and 1 cup/g of Wiggle Worm Castings. I hand mix my amendments to ensure an even distribution throughout the medium. I'll be watering with well water ph'd to 6.2-6.8 and providing bi-weekly compost tea's throughout the run. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 6/1- Week Seven of vegetation for the two 'Testers' from Dutch Passion/SSSC and they are both taking off with vigorous growth! I have started to include TPS Plant Foods Trichoderma/Mycorrhizae/Beneficial Bacteria to my top dresses to give the plants some extra resilience to the heat that will be coming soon. I've had great success using this combination which really helps with heat stress and can also help to prevent other issues, such as disease and fungus attacks! 6/3- I have upped my waterings to daily, and am now giving the 'Testers' 2g of water a day, along with weekly Compost Teas. 6/5- I topped both plants side branches today, as well as removing some lower small shoots and lower shade leaves to help direct energy to the upper sections where it will needed most. 6/7- Well fam, there goes Week Seven of veg, the weather is getting hotter by the day and these two beautiful girl continue to explode with growth! Week 2 of Veg went really well! Overall I just continued the same nutrient feeding regiment I used last week just without a few due to them being Organic amendments they'll break down into the Soil releasing slowly so I'll amend with them again before Flower. I used Fish Shit or Fish Emulsion at a rate of 1tsp per gal and gave them both a Liter of the solution. The ppm was 200 and EC of 400. Then, a day of just H2O. Next, I gave them the MaxiGrow at a rate of 1tsp per gal and gave them a L each. The ppm was 710 and EC of 1420. Next, I gave them just H20. Then, I gave them Real Growers Soil Recharge at a rate of 1tsp per gal. The ppm was 105 and EC of 210. Then, I gave them The Stash Blend at a rate of 1tsp per gal, PPM of 705 EC of 1410. Oh I need to mention my H20 is always at a PH of 7.0 and all my Nutrient Solutions are a PH of 6.2. due to my grow medium being Soil. That's all for this week but overall what easy growing, well spacing, evenly looking, and nicely branching plants!!

ENGLISH BELOW 👇 Día 90 en total del clon, pude sacar dos generaciones declones antes de que entre en flora, pero a la primera generación se las comió por la noche un ejercito de hormigas negras. Es impresionante como la planta se adapta a todos los procesos (incluso clonación y enraizamiento) de una forma increíble. Cultivo con calendario lunar desde hace unos 10 años y está es la primera vez que veo una planta anticiparse y preparase unos días antes para los cambios lunares. Muy divertida para cultivar, todas las semanas genera procesos diferentes, lo que hace muy dinámica y muy rápida. Day 90 in total of the clone, I was able to get two generations of clones before it started flowering, but the first generation was eaten at night by an army of black ants. It is impressive how the plant adapts to all the processes (including cloning and rooting) in an incredible way. I have been growing with a lunar calendar for about 10 years and this is the first time I have seen a plant anticipate and prepare itself a few days in advance for the lunar changes. Very fun to grow, every week it generates different processes, which makes it very dynamic and very fast.

Día 107 : Moviendo de nuevo mi matita bajo techo por el peligro a lluvias. Día 108 : Un poco de sol por la mañana y constantemente lloviznas. Moví mi matita a su lugar de resguardo pero esta noche se preveen lluvias con tormenta eléctrica y la voy a resguardar dentro de casa.

This thing is smelling so delicious. Resin is starting to get heavy, and the buds are really swelling. Had just a touch of nutrient burn from bringing Foop into the fold, but I think she's handling that just fine and dandy.

11/3: Her new growth looks better, but her old foliage looks pretty rough...hope the leaves last long enough to make the energy she'll need to swell those buds... She's dry already today, but I'll water tomorrow. 11/4: I sprinkled a tablespoon of Cave Culture (bat and seabird guano) over her soil and watered it in with 1/2 gallon including humic acid, myco/tricho/beneficial bacteria, bembe, terpinator, and cal-mag. 11/5: I just ogled her and rotated her a couple times today. I removed the oscillating fan from above my lighting so that I could raise the lights several more inches, and added another oscillating fan above the lights that blows down on the plants. The one I removed is still up there too, but blowing across the LED drivers and a pair of the panels. I could still remove the ratchet hangers and just use carabiners to attach the fixture to the "ceiling" of the closet....that would give me another 5 inches of possible ceiling if I end up needing it. 11/6: I fed her about 1/3 gallon today, and went heavy on phosphorous..a heavy dose of tiger bloom, along with a normal dose of beastie bloomz, bembe, cal-mag, signal, big bloom, and a 1/3 dose of grow big. It's been raining for 24 hours and the humidity is off the charts, so I dialed up the ac infinity to come on any time it exceeds 55% RH and increased the fan speed on the floor of the closet to try and dry her out quicker than usual. 11/7: Did pretty much nothing to her today. 11/8: I collected a bunch of rainwater over the past 48 hours and gave her about 1/3 gallon including cal-mag, signal, bembe, armor si, and a little bit of tiger bloom..still seeing some signs of phosphorous deficiency. I took a bunch of photos and video while I had her out of the closet. 😍 I did a little training on her today just to get a little more light to all her branches. 11/9: I just rotated her a couple times and added a 35w 3500k light that is hitting her right in the ass..

Took more of a crockpot approach with these girls. Maintaining a clean room afforded me the ability to just have to water/feed. I did no trimming, only put a couple 4’ stakes with some soft wire in each pot to keep each plant in its own bubble. It did have its hiccups. Using a mechanical timer was one. The power went out for a couple hours. It was fun moving them around to fit my short ass in there with a step stool 😂. The grow went well. I pushed them hard initially, then backed off and coasted to the end. The buds are frosty, swole, and shtinky! The bokashi/ffj does it. Ill follow up after dry and cure. Thanks for scopin my grow!

Pure Ice cream clone is doing great. She is getting fully acclimated to the bigger potter. She has started to grow more so the roots have been making progress. I will be switching her to flowering in 2 to 3 weeks. Everything has been going good. Day 72 - 07/01/20 This one was the only survivor of my 4 x RQS diary. my blueberry auto, jack herer auto and GG auto didnt sprout but the diesel did and here is her harvest! I added some nice photos of the plant and the yield was 325g wet weight. Should be over an ounce once its dried. Update - Dry weight was 30g although much of the bud is small :) Ive been curing for a few days and its insane how the flavour and burn changes throughout curing :) Update - Day 78 - 13/01/20 The sweet diesel smell and taste is coming through. buds are becoming more and more enjoyable to smoke as days go by. :) il post a few pictures later tonight! Added the photos of some buds and a video so you can all have an opinion on how my buds turned out visually. let me know in the comments :) Il do a few more curing updates to let you know how the second week of curing goes! Day 86 - 21/01/20 I finally finished the NYCD after about 2 weeks of curing. It smokes fairly well and is definitely the best thing ive grown so far :) Buds developed quality and a sweet earthy diesel flavour/aroma over the 2 weeks of curing. one major improvement i would make is to source high quality soil as i really struggled to flush this properly. even still without lab quality conditions ive never felt so depression free since ive been taking this medicine regularly. to finish up i will say that I liked the NYCD diesel taste but i still preferred sour diesel. The plant grew to a reasonable height around 60cm and produced an ounce of average bud. and I might not have won any GD competitions, but im still a winner! :'D Lucky for us I just started an Sour Diesel Auto from fastbuds so you can check that out to see what i thought of it compared to this one :)

Sour kush a,b, and c are all flowering pretty well critical purple a little bit behind it’s crazy how these girls already stink up the tent without the buds can’t wait to watch them continue to grow going to run on a full 18/6 light schedule I’m thinking of getting a self space for a as she is really starting to take up a lot or room alone. I learned a bunch growing these plants and the harvest was well worth the effort it took. 300 watt actual power consumption for lights so I think I'll give this strain another run in the future. The smoke is smooth the smell is potent fruity with a touch of citrus. I dried to 67% then placed buds in a plastic bin for one week burping 4 times a day for 15 minutes then Jared at a humidity of 63% with 62% bóveda packs for one week burping twice a day . After 10 days of I exchanged the 62% packs for 58% packs. Burns smooth and tastes great but I'm going to see what it tastes like in a couple more weeks.
