@SonomaSungrown, I live in South Africa and we get 13 to 14h of light a day in summer and with normally very warm and dry weather.
A lot of my autos start flowering at the end of week 2 or 3, so I struggle to get them big. A few have vegged for the normal 4 to 5 weeks and those normally get to a more decent size.
I grow the autos for a little top up of flower and some for hash and rely mainly on my photoperiods for the big yeilds.
I can't grow photoperiods from the start of the season, my space isn't big enough, so the autos at the start of the season is just to get a bit of variety.
@SonomaSungrown, I look for about 20% amber and everything at least cloudy, but it also depends on space available to some degree. I like to have at least 4 days or so between harvesting plants so I have time to move things around. My last plant will come down tomorrow morning. It's been a pretty good year timing wise. Good weather too.
