@Seed_Assassin, I think every grow is different with every plant. Genetics play a big role and the pheno types within can also vary greatly. I grew a Strawberry Lemonade that looked completely different from several same strain growers. Sometimes luck is there, and sometimes its the growers experience. You've grown a plant that produces great flowers - keep doing it again :ok_hand:. Recording a detailed diary helps me quite a lot with the planning aspects for future grows. You are sure to have a good harvest.
@HazeyBobby, I have a question that's not for the public(would sound rude). I see other people growing the same genetics, with more experience and way better setups. They're getting better yields, but their buds look like B.S.. Any ideas about why mine are so sticky and frosty. Is it because pressure makes diamonds, and I've put a lot of pressure on them, or just dumb luck. Maybe the fluorescent bulbs. I would just like my next ones to be as good, now that I have learned from some of my mistakes.
@Seed_Assassin, it's all about checking the trichomes on the calyx of buds (and not the leaves). I can't see any pictures with magnification of the trichomes. You'll definitely need a jewelers loop or some magnifier to check (anything in the range of 15 - 60x magnification will do perfectly). Most common mistake is harvesting too early. From a quick glance - you've still got a few weeks in those flowers to mature - but only the trichomes will tell you when it's time. If you really can't get to see them - I'd wait until all the hairs have gone orange at least. The last couple of weeks can have a massive impact on the quality of the buds you'll harvest. Good luck :+1:
@HazeyBobby, The photos are a little deceptive. Bud sights look good, plants not so much. We are limping across the finish line. Definitely made some mistakes, just hope that they smoke as good as they look. Still not sure when to harvest, about to post some pics, any feedback would be much appreciated.
