@HighRoller909, so I’m not sure what you mean. Two weeks ago I thought the pre flowers which were very small, looked like male. Last week I thought I saw pistles. Watching it this week the male parts have very clearly shown themselves as well as a small inflorescence of pistoles mainly near the top of the bud. I’m tempted to just keep growing it out. I din’t Have any nearby neighbors who could have plants blooming that the pollen would wreck. I really like the plant and would like to see how it colours up as the cool weather sets in. Maybe I should put it up as a question and get some other opinions from more experienced growers. Maybe it’s normal for males to produce a few female flowers in Central American sativas. I know hermaphroditism is common among them. I don’t think that whatever is happening is induced. Plant health has been fine. I suppose the fact that it was a late planting could have some influence. I’ve never grown outdoors before. Cannabis science has come a long way since I had my little cabinets back in the early 90s. Hence the Old Dog New Trick nickname.
Thanks for your interest in this diary by the way.
