Hey, you're plants look great. I'm looking for some help. I have 3 white widow photos that I put on a 12/12 cycle. In the same tent I have 2 lambs breath autos that I'm keeping on an 18/6 schedule. Since they are on different light schedules and in the same tent I put up some old brown curtains, hoping to block out light. A little light shines through the curtain, but I'm thinking it will be okay because I don't think any UVs are getting through. What are your thoughts?

@Wicked_Stix, Sorry, I sounded confusing with my explanation earlier. The plants that I'm thinking about topping are White Widow photos. They are at about week 5 or 6. I only mentioned auto earlier because I was trying to let you know what else I'm growing in my tent. I hadn't planned on topping them.

@Wicked_Stix, I don't have a diary going, I really need to. I am also growing two autoflowers in a 4x4 tent...they are from seeds I found while trimming Lamb's Breath, so we'll see how that goes. They are younger and much smaller that the white widows, I have 3 white widows btw. I have only topped once before, so I still have that uneasy feeling of doing it. They are going on week 5 or 6, and I'm thinking about switching them to a 12/12. Is it a bad idea to top right before flowering starts?

Hey man, your plants are beautiful. Can you tell me roughly how tall they are? I'm growing white widows too and I'm trying to figure out if I need to top them, is that what you did? I am also planning on using a SCROG net, do you have any thoughts on that? Thanks in advance for your help!

I'm growing white widows too, but in hydro. Anyhow, I also just finished my fourth week, and I'm trying to decide whether or not I should switch to a 12/12. I'm new at this and just trying to figure it out. What do you think you will do?

@@Chi_Town_White_Boy, Awesome, thank you. I’m not necessarily worried about electricity, I just want what’s best for the plants. If they will grow better with both on right now, then I’ll do it. Thanks, again. Been thinking about taking some pics and starting a diary.

@@Chi_Town_White_Boy, I have another question. I have a 450 watt lamp with both a veg and a flower button. I've just started week 2, do you think I should wait to turn both buttons on, or would it be a good idea to do that now or maybe next week?

@@Chi_Town_White_Boy, I'll try that, thank you. My White Widows I'm growing right now are photos. I've grown, and tried to grow, autos before in hydro and had a little trouble here and there, so I know what you mean whey you say they are finicky. Your plants are looking good by the way, I'll be sure to follow them each week.

I have a ppm meter, but I'm not using reverse osmosis water, I'm using tap water so my ppm is already at 270. I'm using 1/4 of a tsp per gallon of each of the general hydroponics trio. Are you finding it true that autos take about half of the nutrients as photos?

I'm growing ww too. Actually they are just a few days old, I'm growing 2. Anyhow, I'm new at this, and I already added 1/4 strength general hydroponics nutes because one of them is already growing a set of true leaves. Do you think this is okay? Thanks in advance.
