@CRiSPrGrow, at least on my end I'm sure there wasn't any kinds of high horses, and also I cannot participate for the prizes so keeping score is an excellent motivator to keep helping people, for free. Anyway, I'm up there, even without counting half of the month replies, which definitely will count in my book as helping. Happy smokes!

Was hoping this contest was going to consider all the previous replies to avoid speculating (from 1st to 13th September) but it seems it's only counting new replies so not even a motivation to actually help during the whole month... At least I heard the recommendations from many growers in private telling to now put much effort into this... sad... Happy smokes!

27 solutions, almost one per day on average (249 answers in total, I wish I could filter by month). Love you everybody, specially to all the ones who followed up with further questions in private, honestly there is nothing else motivating me during quarentine here, had some silly thoughts before but this keeps me alive week by week. Already have something to get better during September, and that's a tough month with one day less and all, but on the southern hemisphere we have Spring so that's something at my end too! @DoDrugs420, @BudXs: In my case it would be encouraging because it could mean some growers get flair not only for winning, such as "Placed 7th in Grower of the Month - August 2020", helps to track personal progress as the contest page are kind of archived. Anyway I love it and looking forward to next month! I hope something like this is implemented once I win, LOL! Happy smokes!

@@CUBULATOR, sadly there is no criteria, pictures are chosen but we do not know why. One supposes judges have great eye for pictures but they might chose random lol.

With this idea they would still not win any prizes the second and third month, but they would rake in the points for the Year Championship, so encourage to participate again month after month.

I love the format, but being you can only win once in three months, mean the great guys that won today don't have any incentive to participate the next two months. How about giving points to the Top 10 or 20 (as in Formula 1/Mario Kart) and then each year you have "Grower of the Year" and that is just a table aggregating the points of the 12 Grower of the Months contests?
