Here's some fun information regarding historical data on GOTM. It only dates back to Nov-2017 using the follow weblink style growdiaries.com/giveaways/grower-of-the-month-%7B%7B%7BTHE MONTH}}}-{{{THE YEAR}}} [Lowest win - 3] [Highest win - 234] Prizes where great pre 2020, stating to taper mid 2019. Lights, Nutrient lineups, massive seeds and merch from other breeders not just fastbuds. Fast Buds was some of the first breeders to give smaller prices when others where giving larger ones. 2017 had contests and no posted results, this was the same for the first two months into 2018. In 2020 there where 4 months straight of 100+ answers each. Not on trend compared to any other month/year. Rumoured this was the time when questions where being asked by robots/scripted. Others have commented about this in the past but it has yet to happen again. Jan 2022 Was also very high but it stretched two weeks into Feb, as such Feb contest was only 2 weeks long not a full month. The 3 win in 2021 Feb was also a growdiaries error in that no new questions could join/be asked. So it was only older/left over questions from the previous months. The best months for placing with less competition are still January & February should the trends continue based on average answers. There has been a few errors where some users have won two months in a row, this was because of an error on growdiraies and the GOTM page. The top comment on Nov 2017 GOTM contest page sums up the reality of this site and how long its been happening with no real solutions 5+ years later. @ChitownCannaChica, I know. That's why i'm using a signature, like mouse. It doesn't always get the vote, but it helps guide the OPer to which answer they think is the most helpful. Maybe try it out? Your answers might not get passed on as much. Mine still get passed on, but oh well. I'm still trying! Plus, if you place in the contest and get seeds, we can have a grow-off. :D
