@@420_observer, I use a 5x5 tent with 1600w of HPS at the moment, really want to make the switch to LED but honestly I&#039;ve been worried about the loss in yield and worry about the bud not being nice and solid but loose and airy. How many LED would you think I&#039;d need for my tent? I was thinking about 3 electric sky es300. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

<span class="link_user">@BigChief612</span>, 1) I use BOSSLED 1000W to veg, 2000W to flower. 2) Yes, I have numerous grows with LED [150w to 2000w]. 3) I see about 15 - 20% less with LED compared to MH/HPS. -&gt; For me the difference in yield, is worth the trade off in the difference in heat, fan usage/noise, and overall power consumption. I&#039;d recommend LED for tents or closets - if I got a whole room to use as a grow room I&#039;d use MH/HPS. Greenhouse, go with the 4 foot T5 8 bulbs.

@@420_observer, which LED lights are you running? Have you used LED before? What kind of difference in yield have you noticed using LED over MH/HPS lights if you&#039;ve used these in the past?
