2700ppmFinally got myself an EC meter Gave 2L of RO water at 5ppm and the runoff was at about 2700 ppm?? The soil I am using have slow release fertilizer in it and assuming I can’t replace it what can I do??

ppm controlcan you mix distilled water with regular water to lower ppm? From what I understand from a web search To raise the values of the ppm I need to add more nutrients And to lower the value The solution is a reverse osmosis filter Just trying to think of a cheaper solution
